I think cb is more of a need than people want to believe. Benford's been injured both of his first two seasons, Douglas is on a one year contract and Elam hasn't developed yet. I'd really love the Bills to pair Thomas with the current wr room, even if that means a trade up. I also think Mitchell has wr 1 potential, and I really like Legette. But I don't think a cb is off the table at 28 if a true lock down down #1 cb is there the the DE's and DT's with solid 1st round grades are gone.

I'm on the trade up for Brian Thomas Jr train. It would take this years 1st, 2nd and next year's 2nd (or 3rd) to move up to get Thomas and this year's 3rd. So we'd lose one pick next year and have the same number this year. The 2nd pick would be coming in the 80's instead of 60. Of course a number of other teams might have him as the clear #4 and drive the price up for him.

With the addition of Samuel, I think the perfect Gabe Davis replacement in this draft is Brian Thomas Jr. He's bigger, faster and more fluid than Davis. He's a deep threat and a red zone TD machine. Plus he caught 78% of his passes last year.
