  1. Sending Mario Williams into coverage on a regular basis was the dumbest thing in the world.
  2. I was really expecting him to enter the draft. Think he'd be a great fit in our offense.
  3. I like Tory Horton a lot, I think he decided to return to college for one more year. Also like Polk. Both of those guys probably end up with 2nd round grades. I think there's going to be an abnormal number wr's with 2nd and 3rd round grades this year.
  4. I don't think it's his hands. He only has one year of production... But also if you watch an interview with him, he comes across a little, slow. Not quite Bubba Gump. But maybe enough to give evaluators pause on his ability to process complex offenses.
  5. I think the short passing game was also an extension of personnel. Defenses were locked in on Diggs and playing two safeties over the top. Without a stable of fast wr's with good hands and good route running ability, the Bills had to pivot to the run and short passing game. Do I think Brady will want more and better receivers like he had with Chase and Justin Jefferson at LSU? Or he'll be content with Sherfield running clear out routes and blocking? I'm going to guess he'll be just as excited to upgrade the receiver position as most Bills fans.
  6. Alternatively, the emphasis to run the ball more consistently may have resulted from our personnel. I was banging the table during Dorsey's losing skid to run more consistently out of heavy sets and lean into play action out of running formations. Not bc it's inherently better, but because our personnel didn't lend itself to consistent success in a pass heavy spread sets (against good teams). We're going to need to be able to do both, better, in the coming season to get over the hump. And that certainly includes revamping the receiver position with speed, route running ability and good hands.
  7. He wouldn't have scored, because he gets leg whipped by the safety of you watch to fill play.
  8. No worries, I'm the farthest thing from a Josh Allen critic and have never harped on him playing "hero ball." And I understand the frustration with the "wrong Josh" posters who only pop up to tell the board "told ya so" when Allen has an off game. I guess I really felt he was going to lead an 8 minute drive, like he'd done serval times already, and leave Mahomes with no time and seal the win.
  9. I'm not emotional about it personally. I thought it was the wrong choice to give Mahomes 2 mins to go win the game. I loved the long grinding drives and the methodical nature of the offense all game... I actually thought this game was the most Bradyesque Josh has ever played in a big game. I did just rewatch the 3rd down play bc I thought he turned down an open throw to Shakir for the 1st down in order to buy more time to throw into the end zone again. But Shakir was running back towards Josh a few yards short of the sticks being trailed by a KC defensive back.
  10. We win the game if Josh Allen took what the defense was giving him in the final 2 mins of the game, like he had been playing the previous 58 mins.
  11. Cause it was all setup to score the game winning TD whole giving Mahomes no time left to score.
  12. #2 in production, not in alignment.
  13. Not throwing to two wide open receivers for first downs on 2nd and 3rd and going for the kill shot when he took what the defense was giving all game was so frustrating. Could have got the first and ground the clock out with the winning TD.
  14. He doesn't know where the rumor came from that there will be no assigned seats or why it got any traction? Not one idea Zack? Could it be that your normal snow removal efforts this week look like the same snow removal efforts last week?
  15. I wonder what Brad Daluiso is up to these days?
  16. It sounds a lot like the guy that used to do "The Ongoing History of New Music" on CFNY. Maybe he still does? But that's what I always think of when I hear the voice that does these NFL videos.
  17. The rule's not nearly as bad as the tuck rule. And it's been around forever. The tuck rule seemed like it was made up after the fact to justify the fact that they ruled that Brady hadn't fumbled the ball and game away.
  18. They provided free parking and shuttle buses from McKinley Mall.
  19. First time I think I've ever said, oh good! when finding out a player had a concussion. Really going to need Taron next week, hopefully it not serious!
