Worst case scenario if the Bills backups lose to the Dolphins and the Steelers backups beat the Browns is that there would be one team we'd have to go on the road to play in Round 2. The Steelers if they beat the 7 seed. Worse case scenario if we play our starters and suffer a serious injury at the wrong position, the season is over. So I'm not really concerned about the fate of the 2004, 9-7 Buffalo Bills led by Drew Bledsoe.

The thing I've found watching Belichick pressers before Bills games the last few seasons is that he'll praise things about the Bills that he's found ways to neutralize or confuse. Last year before the 2nd Bills game he praised Hyde and Poyer for never being out of position and the Bills D in general for their ability to disguise coverage. Then they proceeded to run motion all over the field and confuse the Bills D, get them out of position and get them to reveal what coverage they were in. It will be interesting to see how the Pats D plays the deep ball given Belichick raving about Josh's ability to hit the deep pass.

It was a qb sneak, he got almost 1 yard, and a defender cam around the edge and knocked the ball out. It popped to Kareem Hunt who advanced it about anther yard or two picking up the first down. But the ball was knock out of Baker's arms while he was holding it like a RB.

He can't advance the ball past the line of scrimmage, fumble and then throw a pass. If he's behind the line of scrimmage he can throw a pass.

The word lateral doesn't exist in the NFL rulebook. There are forward passes and backward passes. In both cases, a throwing motion is required. Having the ball knock out of the hands of a runner is a fumble whether it hits the ground or not. Fumbles can't be advanced by another teammate under 2 mins.
