And so is Danny Gray. Lol

Romeo Doubs is looking like a legit deep threat.

Yeah, it boils down to whether you consider the season ticket purchase a small business. And the IRS definitions isn't clear cut. It basically says, its a business if the primary purpose of the seasons ticket purchase is an attempt to make money. So if you use most of them for personal use, and sell a few, it isn't going to fly as a business. And so you can't deduct your losses... But if your primary purpose is to make money, and you sell most of the tickets, but still have a net loss, it can be claimed as a small business and deducted.

He would need to be around 75 receptions, 1000 yards and 6 TD's.

It's a bit confusing. In traditional 2 we sets the Y is The TE. X is the "split end" and plays right up on the line of scrimmage. Z plays off the line of scrimmage, and in old school football terms is the flanker, meaning he can go in motion. If the Z lines up on the line of scrimmage, he's "covering the TE" and makes the TE an inelligble receiver. In 3 & 4 wr formations there's a Z and a slot wr, both playing off the line of scrimmage and able to go in motion.

I think Z is slot in the Bills offense. And X is outside.

From the horses mouth, one day ago: “He’s done a pretty good job in terms of learning the offense,” Josh Allen said. “He’s been switching up from Z to X and doing a really good job of knowing what he’s doing, being able to be switched around. Someone needs a break because they’re gassed from running something, he’s the first one in and he’s been on top of his stuff in the meetings. He’s going to help this team. I’m excited about him, I really am.” But what does he know! https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2022/08/09/buffalo-bills-training-camp-news-wr-khalil-shakir-has-been-turning-heads/65395396007/

I'll always remember that first TD to Ray Ray as the moment that Josh Allen opened my eyes to his potential. That throw was different from anything I had ever witnessed from a Bills qb. And I still don't understand how he threaded that between three defenders. When he kept over Barr, it was obvious he had the heart of a lion.

Exactly, Phillips will be Oliver's backup at 3 tech, and we know how the Bills like to rotate the Dline. I bet with see Phillips with Settle a good bit... And then Oliver and Phillips rushing on obvious long passing downs. I'm wondering if Benford is getting snaps at gunner?

Honestly, for how many years how was that the high point of the season? Those brief few weeks in August and Sept where the only thing to do was hope that maybe, just maybe, we got lucky and drafted enough new talent to turn it around.

I'm sorry, you may have missed the context completely. I'm not telling anyone how to run a successful business. The point was how season ticket purchases can count as a business for tax purposes. Unless you're suggesting there's labor and overhead that can be deducted from the purchase of tickets as well. I'm all ears.

If you turn up the sound you can hear him say "disrespectful" three or four times.

Great post. Seeing all the kids out at training camp and at the Blue and Red scrimmage, I was blown away by how awesome it must be for them. There were a few moments that I can only describe as experiencing joy. What does it say that Sully expressed resentment at the happiness of others. Of children even?

Complete opposite from last practice when the O was like 10 for 10 inside the red zone. Missing starters on the OLine makes all the difference.

I saw a white buffalo running wild through Colorado a few weeks ago. It made read up it native culture: "When a white buffalo calf is born, it is a sign that their prayers are being heard and that the promises of the prophecy are being fulfilled." I don't think the blue helmet is a good idea, but the white Buffalo could be kind of cool to do a theme around.

You don't pay safeties, linebackers, or interior linemen.

Exactly, but the TE needs to perform at wr 1 or 2 level output. Knox has that potential. -
I wish there was a "fair enough" icon.

Jerry's outlook on life is to look for the negative in order to cut other down. It's a pathological condition. Which explains why he can't understand Bills fans simply being happy. Jerry's only happy when he feels self righteous while giving someone the business.

Buffalo Bills rookies report to training camp today!
Motorin' replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's never too early for Doom & Gloom!!!! But seriously, our #2 outside wr in 2020 was Jon Brown who amassed less than 500 yards and 3 TD's with a rookie Gabe Davis as #3 outside. Our #2 outside wr in 2021 was Manny Sands who amassed 600 yards and 4 tds with a second year Davis in the #3 outside role.... This year Davis steps into #2 with a rookie Shakir in the #3 outside wr role... I don't really see our wr depth much year the last 2 seasons.
