  1. People also forget that in 11 personal only one wr is on the line. The other 2 play off the line so they can go in motion. They need to play inside or out on any given play.
  2. Yeah, it's like he's getting 2 feet of air jumping with his plant leg. He must be transferring some of that energy to the ball.
  3. Mr. Blutarski, 0.0
  4. Spector has to prove there's no drop off first.
  5. Yeah, and the pick had nothing to do with why the RB was left wide open. I watched it back a few times. The Bills were in 4-3, Cover 1 with a single high safety, playing man to man with a MIC blitz by Spector. There were 2 wide outs to the left of the formation covered by the two cbs. There were 2 TEs to the right of the formation, and a single RB to the qbs right. Andre Smith was playing LB to the 2 TE side, McCloud (presumably the second safety) was down in the box covering the outside... As soon as the first TE runs a drag, Smith jumped his route, which looks like it was supposed to be covered by Bernard. This left the second TE free to run vertically up the field. McCloud had to cover him or else it's a free route straight to the end zone... But bc there was no one left to cover the back on the wheel, same result... Smith should have left the drag to Bernard, covered the TE vertically up the field, and McCloud would have covered the wheel route. But Smith and Bernard end up covering the same TE, and there's no one left to cover the RB. Imo, Andre Smith is at fault. And wouldn't be the first bone headed play of his.
  6. I'd love to see Quinton Morris get more snaps at TE next week. I think he's got potential.
  7. Hodgins making a case for himself.
  8. I read he can only catch passes 3 yards down field inside the hash.
  9. I don't need to see anymore. I want to see Blackshear! He had some juice on that KO return.
  10. True story, I've flown 6 or 7 times during the pandemic. Early this week was the first time I didn't wear a mask on the plane... I've been in bed for the last three days with a 102 fever (and tested positive for the first time.) Good thing I wasn't Virtue signaling, am I right?
  11. He referred to Bernard as Benford about a dozen times during the last One Bills Live show, even after being corrected over and over.
  12. Tim Settle looks like a 🧱
  13. The O Line play was not bad at all on the first drive.
  14. Over / Under on the game and quarter when someone posts that either the season, or the franchise is over?
  15. And so is Danny Gray. Lol
  16. Romeo Doubs is looking like a legit deep threat.
  17. Yeah, it boils down to whether you consider the season ticket purchase a small business. And the IRS definitions isn't clear cut. It basically says, its a business if the primary purpose of the seasons ticket purchase is an attempt to make money. So if you use most of them for personal use, and sell a few, it isn't going to fly as a business. And so you can't deduct your losses... But if your primary purpose is to make money, and you sell most of the tickets, but still have a net loss, it can be claimed as a small business and deducted.
  18. He would need to be around 75 receptions, 1000 yards and 6 TD's.
  19. I mean, if the FBI thinks it can raid Donald's Trump's house for stealing classified documents from the White House what's to stop them for raiding John Q. Public's house for stealing classified documents from the White House?
  20. It's a bit confusing. In traditional 2 we sets the Y is The TE. X is the "split end" and plays right up on the line of scrimmage. Z plays off the line of scrimmage, and in old school football terms is the flanker, meaning he can go in motion. If the Z lines up on the line of scrimmage, he's "covering the TE" and makes the TE an inelligble receiver. In 3 & 4 wr formations there's a Z and a slot wr, both playing off the line of scrimmage and able to go in motion.
  21. I think Z is slot in the Bills offense. And X is outside.
  22. From the horses mouth, one day ago: “He’s done a pretty good job in terms of learning the offense,” Josh Allen said. “He’s been switching up from Z to X and doing a really good job of knowing what he’s doing, being able to be switched around. Someone needs a break because they’re gassed from running something, he’s the first one in and he’s been on top of his stuff in the meetings. He’s going to help this team. I’m excited about him, I really am.” But what does he know! https://www.democratandchronicle.com/story/sports/football/nfl/bills/2022/08/09/buffalo-bills-training-camp-news-wr-khalil-shakir-has-been-turning-heads/65395396007/
  23. I'll always remember that first TD to Ray Ray as the moment that Josh Allen opened my eyes to his potential. That throw was different from anything I had ever witnessed from a Bills qb. And I still don't understand how he threaded that between three defenders. When he kept over Barr, it was obvious he had the heart of a lion.
