  1. Chill out, my post was pointing something out. I open it saying I am in love with Josh. I am well aware he is a rookie, thanks
  2. Even this is overblown... how about the throw to DiMarco? The 5 yard out route to Zay in the fourth? The screen to McCoy in the 4th? His short throws are fine, just randomly like 1-2 a game yes he rushes his feet and misses one. But all those throws I mentioned above were short under neath throws and they were put on the money with YAC Fixed your mistake above. But I agree, I of course didnt watch him in college and I didnt want another project waiting 3 years to see if they were worth a damn. I wanted the NFL ready QB for once. I am glad I was wrong, I am in love with Josh. To touch on the "develop reads for why he doesnt check down" portion of your post. I dont think its his inability to see the check down. I dont remember where I heard it, hell maybe it was just a dream. But I believe he was interviewed after a college game where he made a crazy TD throw where a guy was open for a first down underneath. I think the interviewer said something like "Why did you even try to make that throw?" Allen responds "Well like Brett Favre always said: 'Touchdowns first.' " So I think this is going to be the one love/hate thing with Josh people will have as long as he has legs to make plays, and routes downfield.... I think the check down option to him is like an absolute emergency play. He is the kind of guy who would rather try a difficult 15 yard throw than a 2 yard gimme. Hell we have had a lot of "Captain Checkdowns" here in the past, so we should be happy with this - right?
  3. This. Not only did he not need to do whatever awkward fall down dive attempt that was... he short armed it. He is trying to catch in his belly like a crocodile instead of just reach his effing hands out. Thats why I am so damn mad about it.
  4. Watching him spin Kiko 2-3 times, and just kind of shove Kiko out of the way was just amazing
  5. You have terrible reading comprehension of my post. I have defended Allen all day, and said I dont have problem with missing a throw (because all Qb's do). I was pointing out where he over looked the wide open guy under neath Zay for a first down lol
  6. I had a crush on Allen after Jags game. I walked away from this game in love. With that my ONE issue of concern I have isnt even an accuracy or "he missed this one throw!". The 3rd and 11 drop/missedPI/HellOfanEffortByZay has a part that many people I feel are missing which is my "***** Josh" moment. He had I think McKenzie just under neath Zay and he was very open, had 2-3 steps on his man. I feel like it's going to be a love/hate relationship with a lot of Bills fans and overall I am fine with it, but Allen has the idea of "big play first." It's why he doesnt do many RB dump off check-downs (shouldn't we be happy after watching Edwards, EJ, and Tyrod all check it down immediately?). He will wait and take a chance that the big home run play will develop, or take the harder throw than the easier throw if it means 10 more yards on the completion. Most of the time its refreshing and I love it... but in that game situation, he needs to hit McKenzie who probably gets a first down, or at least gets it real close.
  7. You realize that a throw of that distance is very low percentage unless you throw a wounded duck which everyone has a chance to get under.... right?
  8. 100% agreed with this. I think the Josh lovers and the Josh haters admit we have a serious WR/TE and Oline problem... but what I feel keeps getting over looked, is we have had almost 0 running game all seasons (except for Jets game). Josh has really been put in a position to need to do it all - all while having a QB Spy on him at all times... still runs for 135. Side thought I just kind of came up with. It seemed to me in many games when Tyrod was spied his running aspect of his game was pretty much gone. Yet Allen is being spied and it's like it doesnt matter. Is Allen truly faster/more elusive? Is Allen a "smarter runner" with how to attack the running lane? Just weird to me guys like Barr, Alonso and whoever the Jaguars had just cant stop the kid.
  9. All I know is he offers nothing constructive or helpful to discussion... just comes on and trolls and talks crap about every Bills player. Dude needs to go
  10. Yeah I know he had a brother who looks like him, but was that actually him in the Sports Science video catching??
  11. Was that really his brother? I remember pausing the video and went "wtf??" because it looked like they had edited it to be Josh catching his own ball somehow LOL
  12. Depends, if it was his reaction after reading your posts - i’d say it’s normal.
  13. Can we just ban this guy already? The trollery went from cheeky to constant and obvious real quick, on absolutely everything
  14. I just wanted to give a shoutout to Zay Jones. Lost in all this Allen talk and KB Clay talk is Zay Jones. He has really stepped up his game running routes, blocking, his hands have been fantastic and unlike K-Biscuit and Clay, he seems to be working his tail off. considering there were posts calling him the “biggest bust in history,” the issues in the off-season, and coming off a surgery, he has really made great progress. Kudos Zay! PS: How about that throw and catch by Allen and Zay on 3rd and 12 on our own 2 yard line!
  15. Honestly looking at his face it looked like he maybe have been crying in locker room, or fighting the tears hardcore. He looked dejected and flush. Not dejected like I’m clueless or I give up way. More of dejected because he left it all on the field but sill felt and wanted to do more. I respect this. I am in love with his fire, competitiveness and his desire. I will fully admit I was a “wrong josh crowd.” I didn’t want ANOTHER project. I wanted the NFL ready qb. Out of the rookie QB’s I wanted Allen the least (besides Jackson). However now Allen is my favorite of all of them. Even Mayfield who I liked the most, I still like but I feel he is kind of “at his ceiling” already.
  16. Except Allen isn’t running a constant read-option offense...
  17. I disagree it was Brutal. It wasn’t a goood first half but it wasn’t brutal... example of Brutal would be Tyrod’s half losing his starting job to Mayfield.... or ANY Peterman half
  18. At least today he didn’t take on tacklers, ran OB or got down
  19. His lack of accuracy is so overblown. There were like 2-3 bad passes... He threaded the needle on a ton of others as well. Both TD passes to Jones were fantastic difficult big time throws.
  20. the second INT was on Allen... the first one was a 0 second halftime hail mary lol... yeah idiot Allen
  21. The replay is hilarious to me on this. Zay bustin balls trying to work to the spot... Benjamin is actually in his way half jogging doing nothing LOL
  22. Hope you never get a judge calling you a b word then judging a case you are involved in ?
