  1. I can understand this thought for Mayfield... but why Darnold? Man for all the flack Allen gets for some of his INT's and not having perfect accuracy... Darnold seems to throw at least one very ugly pick a game. I wanted Darnold over Allen in the draft.... but after watching this year outside of his first game... I honestly think he looks bad and the worst of the top 4 drafted QB's. I mean people bring up "Allen's accuracy issues go all the way back to start of college!" Well Darnold's knock was his love for ***** turnovers all through college - and that has continued so far
  2. Kelvin doesn’t even know if he should line up on or off the line and he has been here for over a year....let alone give away any secrets
  3. You right and I am aware (I was also replying to two people at one point) because you said “Reilly is faster and we got rid of him.” And I made points why Gentry has different qualities. Plus if it was just about speed, we have foster, Ray-Ray, McKenzie. We need more of a possession type, or scramble drill type. Our speed is fine tbh. personally I don’t care if we sign Gentry. I do however think it’s interesting strictly from the Allen connection and knowing to work with Allen’s scrambling ability
  4. And that’s fine your not. But you are calling out my post about Gentry, which was simply reaponding to someone asking what Gentry has over Reilly... and I supplied examples
  5. And Reilly isn’t? I wasn’t here to slob some Gentry knob. My post was in response to “what does Gentry have over Reilly.” Which I believe my points are still applicable. I never said Gentry was some god send. People are still stuck on Reilly because he is a white dude who made like 2 tough catches in preseason in 2017
  6. The difference is: Gentry and Allen have a history together, they were not only QB and main WR at Wyoming, but I believe they were room mates and good friends off the field. I would imagine if ANYONE knows how to capitalize on a Josh Allen scramble drill it would be Gentry
  7. In fairness he doesnt have much of a pocket to work with. Most of the pressure he deals with isnt from the edges which is more typical... its always up the middle, so you cant "step up" into the pocket. Even look at Baldy's plays, he is in the pocket and sidestepping guys in his face from the middle. Also I thought he made some very nice plays from the pocket last game. Zay TD, the almost to Foster, really the final drive he was mostly in the pocket and made some big throws to Foster, Shady and almost to Zay
  8. I like how Baldy at the end points out that its Cameron Wake and Robert Quinn chasing Allen in the backfield, and they really dont even come close to getting him lol. Hasn't Wake usually had good games against us in the past? I cant think of many QB's that would survive behind our OLine vs Wake and Quinn.... Also its going to be really interesting seeing what teams will do to spy Allen in the future... so far LBers dont work. Do they start spying with Safeties? I feel like most will struggle to tackle Josh unless they trip him or somehow catch him at a straight angle with speed built up (assuming Josh doesnt dodge it). Do they start spying with 2 LBers? If they do it should start opening a lot more short/intermediate routes.... the rest of this season will be as interesting as it gets for a team with no playoff hope.
  9. This, I cant believe how many articles and posters point to this "miss" showing an example of "how inaccurate Josh is." The throw was a step away from being a dime of a throw at 70 yards in the air as pressure was starting to get in Josh's face. People want to site to other QB's making this throw... when they do, they typically throw a bit of a duck (I think on purpose) which is good and bad. Good = Gives WR time to get under the ball, or work back to it if needed (***** Clay!).. Bad = gives chance for DB to also recover to make play on ball. What I like about Allen's ball is it still has velocity on it and comes down at a tighter angle. To be honest, its going to make a lot of his deep throws like this a tad lower completion percentage - however with this kind of throw its a typical "my guy will get it, or no one" so less chance for an INT.
  10. But according to many posters "the ball wobbled though! Thats on Josh!"
  11. Definitely this. Yes the throw was not good, but it was "good enough." For all those saying "rookie mistake on Josh," when you have a top 7 paid in his position veteran who doesnt understand working back to ball on a scrambling QB who is running to other side of the field. THAT is a "rookie mistake" being made by an overpaid veteran
  12. Not if some other team picks him up.... that’s why at least this way if a team takes a chance on him Bills free up money.
  13. The report was from Zay's momma LOL The funny thing is after this came out, a couple times a game I would see Zay pointing somewhere toward Kelvin... almost like Kelvin didnt know if he was supposed to be on or off the line
  14. Teller at least has the strength physically, just needs to work on technique and rush counter moves. So POSSIBLY he can develop. The other ones mentioned dont have the strength or the technique.
  15. I doubt this is the case... but honestly... if it was true, I would love Josh even more and would even give him my dog (my dog is great by the way)
  16. I havent been mad at a loss in a long time. I was watching the game on the internet with headphones and I slammed my headphones to the ground when I saw Clay miss that crap. I wasnt mad we lost, I wasnt mad that this all but ensures no playoffs... I was so damn mad because Allen balled so hard and did almost everything, just needed a guy to make a play - a really basic play. And shocker the Bills offense couldnt do that for him (except for Zay). Allen took a pounding with 2x should have been roughing the passer calls not called, multiple penalties against Bills, and he was in there fighting and making great throws from the pocket and on the move. I wanted that win for Josh as odd as it seems. Then of course the play happens, and as soon as he runs backwards I went "crap its over," then Josh doing BIG D Josh things, finds some space and a target. So I go from this feeling of "oh no..." to seeing Clay wide effing open and going "HELL YES" to seeing the ball on the ground... along with my headset.
  17. LOL... in fairness I think T-Smith did as well as Ramsey on Allen's TD run
  18. I love what you do compiling all the articles and videos for us here, but you have been VERY critical of Allen in multiple threads now on this one throw. Despite he put the entire offense on his back all game. I dont care if Allen throws the football and it turns into a frisbee, a rotisserie chicken or a live cat that hasn't been declawed halfway to the receiver. If you are a veteran top 8 paid TE in the entire NFL, you catch that damn ball when it hits you in two hands and you didnt even fully extend your damn arms... OR you SHOULD BE aware enough on a scramble drill with a QB working backwards to COME FORWARD, and not sit 8 yards deep in end zone for some strange reason.
  19. You right, he stinks. Good thing Josh screwed that up so we get another high draft pick to re-try at QB.
  20. Agree with this, I hated the idea of another "project QB," i wanted the NFL ready type for once. But man, 7 games in and Allen doesnt look like much of a project at all! I'm not saying he cant and shouldnt improve, he isnt perfect... but I went from having a crush on Allen after Jags came... to being full on smitten/in love with him after this Dolphins game
  21. But but but.... BUT... his last throw wobbled! - per a bunch of (for some reason) salty Allen haters
  22. So you dont consider the toe tapping on the 3rd and 12 play a great catch, Allen threw the ball OB and Zay reached OB to haul it in while barely keeping both toes in. That is a fantastic catch
  23. His first TD catch. What about the toe tap sideline catch when Josh threw a laser on 3rd and 12 from our own 2
  24. You are right, our QB/Offense is as potent as the other WR's your are thinking of. It probably has nothing to do with having 4 different QB's throwing to him this season alone. Did I say other WR's drafted in past two years werent playing better? Nope. Did I say he was the best? Nah..... I did say he has stepped up and is coming around - which is still valid. "he should have come around last season." I mean he got shoulder surgery this off-season that he played through all last season, surely that counts for something....
  25. ? There was 54 seconds left in the game, and it was 4th 11... so we get a first down and 54 seconds on the clock... Not sure that is meaningless
