  1. He just is plain bad. Please cut him at the end of the year. If not we will be in external purgatory at 6-10 or 7-9 every year, not totally terrible, but not even an 8-8 team
  2. Great post. Totally agree with you on all counts. and love your screen name. He was my favorite player growing up. Boy, could we use another one like him now............
  3. Then why did we commit to this contract We should have kept him at his current salary for 2016, pay him the franchise tag for 2017 and then make a decision thereafter. Instead, we have now boxed ourselves in and have to pay him huge money going forward for basically a game manager who can run a little, but also has a high propensity for getting injured. We should not pick up that option and find someone out there who can do that until we find someone else who can justify a $20MM+ salary. We will never be more than an 8-8, 7-9 team with TT..............
  4. Totally agree. When the Bills run formula works, and they play with the lead, Taylor is fine, but he is NOT the guy to take advantage of the NFL passing rules. The Bills need a guy who can throw with confidence down the field, and it has nothing to do with the injuries, which don't help. Pray they don't pick up the option, or we are doomed to 7-9 seasons for the forseeable future.......
  5. I said the exact same thing. Totally agree.............
  6. Totally agree. but Zack is probably second on that list. Go Bills.....
  7. Sure. Let's sign another "head-case" bad character person. That's what this team is turning into. You don't see the Patriots signing losers like him. Who cares what his potential. He's a loser. I want to be proud of the players on the Bills and want to root for them to do well. Not have some lowlife on this team. It's not the type of player I want playing for my team no matter what his potential is!!!
  8. I say trade McCoy to the Vikings for as a high a draft pick as you can get for him. The Vikings have a legitimate shot at the Super Bowl, and McCoy will give them the back they need now that Adrian Peterson is out. This way, we rid ourselves of his high cap number and give playing time to Mike Gillisee and Williams. This is the time for the Bills to realize that we need to start fresh, and stockpiling as many draft picks as we can while also creating as much cap room as possible to bring in difference makers seems the best way to go. The season is lost, almost before it got started, and hanging on to hoping that we turn this around is only wishful thinking. I say get rid of the pieces that you can right now for decent value, then cut Tyrod Taylor after the season and try and bring is someone to run the offense, or draft the best potential QB with the extra draft picks that we can assemble. Otherwise, it's more of the same as we stay stuck in this 6-10, 7-9 level of mediocrity. This needs to be blown up this year and start fresh. I know that it's hard to face another rebuild, but thinking that Rex and Rob and Tyrod are going to turn this around is fools gold.....................
  9. That's one of the best posts that I have ever seen on the board (Ha-Ha)..............
  10. You sound just like me in every respect! Don't like Rex or Rob Ryan; HATE the fact that they gave Tyrod Taylor that contract (hopefully they will have enough sense to cut him at the end of the season). Otherwise, we are stuck with years of mediocrity "At best" as he is not good and will get hurt. I also will continue to wear the jersey and not root for them to lose, but am totally OK if they do at this point. Also hate the fact that we have several players who are also suspended. I want to like and respect the players we have, not look down on them. Sad. Very sad where this franchise is, but at least it is guaranteed to be here with the Pegulas now in charge.......
  11. So, the Bills invest significant $$$'s on Lawson as a #1 pick knowing that he has a potential shoulder injury that Adam Shetcher was already reporting on. Now, we hear that he will be out 6 months, so essentially, he will be lost for the season as he will lose all of training camp and it is very hard to pick everything up once the season starts for a rookie. Even if he comes back this year, how effective will he be? This is unacceptable. If I were Pegula, I would DEMAND an explanation with a full report on who was responsible for the decision to draft him as he will be essentially paying him big $$$'s for a lost season which the Bills can ill afford right now since they needed him to replace Mario Williams. Really disappointing news. Seems like Bills management was asleep at the switch on this one, and compounded with the news on Sammy Watkins, is very depressing. Hopefully these guys will come back at 100%.
  12. Totally agree. Was the next best Bills QB next to Jim Kelly!!!!
  13. Definitely didn't do the Bills fans any favors by scheduling 4 of the last 6 games at home . Cold and probably meaningless games at the end.....................
  14. Couldn't have said it better myself. TT is a great athlete and a decent QB, but all he will do is guarantee mediocrity. One step forward, one step back. He will never be a consistent QB to win key playoffs games. And while he will make great plays, he will also get hurt because he is just too small to stay healthy, and will also never be consistent in the pocket which is the key to continued success. I just pray that this is not Ryan Fitzpatrick again. A decent QB who plays well for a while, then breaks your heart......
  15. REALLY! The Jets are 8-5 and the Bills are 6-7 and going nowhere fast. I am a Bills fan, but you cannot make that statement based on the reality of how the 2 teams have performed this year....
  16. Along with Rex Ryan, TT is going to kill the Bills long-term. Yes, he is a great athlete and makes some exciting plays. But is is not big enough to withstand the punishment of an NFL season and has already lost time this year. In addition, his size limits what he can do in the pocket and does not have the consistency to win game after game. yes. he will win some games and be fairly average, but you are looking at 8-8 seasons with little hope of upside. We need to find a QB who can win from the pocket. Who knows if we will ever found one and means that TT will be good enough to remain the starter, but not good enough to make the clutch throws is small windows and the Bills will continue to go with him and we will be stuck in neutral for a long time. The team has bigger problems right now than TT, but will never progress to consistent winning with him.
  17. IT"S OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!! DEAL WITH IT.................................
  18. Agree with both. Unfortunately, Rex is probably here for at least 1 and most likely at least 2 more years of 8-8 seasons....
  19. I agree with everything that you said. I also have been feeling this way after being a loyal Bills fan for over 35 years and have been saying a lot of what you mentioned above. I still get the Sunday Ticket and watch the games with my son, but it's just not the same anymore. Have really lost my passion due to the Bills ineptness over the past 16 years coupled with the overall NFL approach as well as the lowlife players. Hang in there.....
  20. It's funny that you said this as I was thinking the same exact thing....Really!!!! Sad that it has come to this as a Bills fan!!!
  21. Totally agree. It'slways going to be 1 step forward and 1 step back with him. He is not the answer...
