  1. Totally agree. Landry Jones is the best option at QB. I pray they get him ove rthese other over-hyped players
  2. 2013 Draft Wish List: 1. Bjoern Werner - DE - Florida State; 6-4 - 256. BEAST. I want to rush the passer on every single play. 2. Justin Hunter - WR - Tennessee; 6-4 - 200. We need more explosiveness on offense other than CJ - especially at WR. 3. Landry Jones - QB - Oklahoma; 6'4 - 220. He may not be here in the 3rd, but I'd be extremely happy w/him at this spot. I like your thought process very much, but we need to draft Landry earlier. Depends where we wind up but definitely in Round 2 and maybe even in Round 1 especially after considering how QB values get inflated at draft time. But love all all of your picks....
  3. It looks like Q.B. Mike Glennon. Great deep ball throws. Looks to me as the top Q.B. Everyone has his faults, but he seems to have the most upside. Merry Christmas everyone I whose eyes. Landry Jones has far more upside and has accomplished more than any QB coming out has. He has the size, arm strength and experience playing vs. top qualityc ompetition as well as playing in a pro-style offense. Glennon is a later round prospect with potential, but not the top flight guy. But we all the the Bills will pick a CB anyway...
  4. Landry Jones hands down - Is a 4 year starter, is big, has a strong arm, played in a pro-style offense and has set almost all of the NCAA records
  5. "Glennon doesn't move the needle for me at all..........vs crappy ACC defenses he did okay i guess...........human statue 5.0 though. Seems like a high "bust" factor to me." Totally agree. too much risk, especially when you consider that there are other QB's like Landry Jones with a far better resume
  6. Draft Landry Jones! He is the best prospect right now and has done more that any of the other QB's to warrant being drafted. He also is a 4 year starter, is big, has a strong arm and plays in a pro-style offense. He also has set almost all of the NCAA records at QB and at OKLa, all with being under pressure as Okla "D" has been awful this year. I just don't understand how people don't put him in the conversation when, to me, he is the logical pick for the Bills at QB.............
  7. Landry Jones is better than all of them!!!
  8. Landry Jones is better than all of them!!!
  9. Flavor of the month. What are you smoking. Landry Jones has broken almost every Division I QB record, and has proven he can play vs. top competition. If you watched any Oklahoma games this year, you would know that they would have a losing record if it wasn't for him (see West Virginia and Okla State games). Yes, he struggled early on, but that was a combination of getting used to all new WR's with the exception of Kenny Stills plus the fact that Oklahoma had no "D" this year. He is also 3-0 in bowl games, hopefully shortly 4-0 , is big and has one of the strongest arms in college football. How can you compare a Syracuse QB to what he did in college. The Bills need a big-time QB and Landry Jones is that guy. I also would not be surprised once the combines start that he becomes one of the top QB's. The Vikings are already reported to be interested in him. I say get him as soon as possible and get a veteran QB as well and either trade or cut Fitzpatick. Only keep him if you can't make a reasonable deal for soemone else. Go Bills!!!!
  10. Draft Landry Jones and try to get either matt Moore or Curt Cousins, but I would not give up the bank for either (possibly a 3rd Round Pick/maybe second depending on who we go after). But we need a QB before anything else other than a new Coaching staff!!!!
  11. No major coach is going to come to Buffalo given the franchise's current situation, but bringing a new coach in is a definite possibility. The Bills also need to get a QB. I think they need to bring in someone new, preferably someone who has a strong enough arm to play in Buffalo with the wind, like a Landry Jones, who is big, has a very strong arm, and had played against top competition with several stirring comeback wins this year. Hopefully, the Bills will get another top WR either thru the draft or thru Free Agency along with a top flight LB. If those changes are made, I thing the Bills can compete next year for a playoff spot. I also don't think that Michael Vick is the answer. Not an accurate passer and too many injury problems, not even mentioning that it would be tough to root for him vs a more solid person.....
  12. I think Robert Woods would be great for the Bills. However, Matt Barkley I do not think is the naswer. I would far prefer Landry Jones
  13. The Bills need to draft a QB THIS YEAR. There are several QB's to pick from and I feel that Landey Jones should be that guy. Whatever, they need to upgrade the bQB position as the NFL is a QB leaque and we do not have one that can make all of the throws which hamstrings our offense, especially vs. good teams. The Bills are kidding themselves if the is not the #1 and #2 and #3 goals going into this opffseason along with another big WR to complement Steve Johnson.
  14. Fitz sucks. We will never win with him. Draft Landry Jones!!!! That stat is not indictive of wins and losses
  15. Better Same Worse Brady Tanneyhill Sanchez Flacco Rothisberger Weedon Dalton Palmer Cassels Rivers P. Manning Luck Schaub Hasselback Henne E. Manning Romo RG III Rogers Cutler Stafford Ponder Ryan Brees Freeman Newton Bradford Kapernick Wilson Skelton I have Fitzpatrick better than only 3 QB's right now with 20 beter than him based on current or projected future performance. You can take your pick in the middle column. I would classify Fitzpatrick as a back-up, but when you factor in what he is making, he is definitely underachieving. The Bills definitely need an upgrade here and I hope they go for Landry Jones of Oklahoma.
  16. In terms of him under pressure, yes, he has made some mistakes, but all QB's do. Have you seem him in the last 2 games. Under total pressure in both and came thru with huge come from behind wins. Also, he is working with new receivers which nobody has mentioned and is now just coming into his own with them. He has a strong arm and is playing the best ball of his career. He should be invited to NYC for the Heisman ceremony even though I know he will not win it. Just look at how he compares to Johnnie manziel and Colin Klein, much better numbers and he may go over 4000 yards this year with a QB rating over 150. He is just what the Bills need at this point. The other QB's are either too small or not playing at his level. I know i am setting myself up for disappointment, but GO BiLLs!!!!
  17. With all due respect, have you seen the last 2 games he has played. If not, I will remind you: over 500 years passing, 9 TD's, 2 come from behind victories making all of the throws, all under intense pressure with NO margin of error due to OKLA having NO defense. Go back and watch the tape. You will see what I mean. Fitzpatrick could only dream of making the throws Jones makes. Yes, ee has had some consistency issues, but that is attributable to him learning to play with a whole new group of receivers (except for Kenny Stills), which is now finally getting done. Also, he is now #3 All-Time in NCAA history in passin yards and #1 All-Time in the Big 12. He is also the first QB in NCAA history to throw for over 3000 yards and 26 TD's in 4 consecutive years. Please, don't put Fitzpatrick in the same sentence with Landry Jones. Jones may not make it, but he is head and shoulders above where Fitzpatrick is/was.......
  18. I know that there has been a lot a talk about there not being a "Franchise QB" in the upcoming 2013 draft and that may be so. But, the Bills NEED to do something at QB immediately. Fitzpatrick is clearly not the answer and it does not look like there is much chance of getting a free agent QB worthy of a trade. I have been following Landry Jones for a while now and think it is a "no-brainer" for the Bills to draft him. First of all, he is a 4 year starter in a pro-style offense. Second, he is big at 6'4" and 235 lbs. He can take a hit and has the best arm in the draft and can make all of the throws necessary of a pro QB, which clearly Fitzpartick cannot do as well as being fairly mobile. Jones has received a lot of criticism this year about not playing well, but when you consider that he had only 1 WR coming back from last year, he needed time to develop with the new WR's. The result is back to back 500 year games and come from behind victories in his last 2 games, despite OKLA having no defense. He also receives some criticism for not playing well when pressured. What QB does consistently? If you read the comments from the Defensive Co-Ordinators, you will see that they feel that he was the reason for OKLA's success and feel that he is playing the best ball of his career. In addition, he is a good person and would be easy to root for. Finally, when you compare him to the other candidates, I feel he measures up very well: Matt Barkley and Aaron Murray are both only 6'1", and Barkley injured his arm and coudn't play against ND. Geno Smith is a great athelete, not a great QB in my mind and will flame out. Tyler Bray looks impressive, but needs another year to mature and EJ Manuel is again a great athelete, but not a great QB. Just my 2 cents, but I am so fed up with the Bills handling of the QB position, they need to do something now. Jones may not work out, but he is the best option right now!! Go Bills!!!!!!!
  19. Are you serious??????? Romo in a heartbeat. Fitzpatick should be no better than the emergency QB......
