  1. Great analysis. I agree with you. I don't think he is the best college QB, but I think your comment about his potential is right on. I think that with the right coach and program, his potential is much greater than the other QB's coming out. A lot of their success is that they have a great supporting cast and don't play that great a competition. I guess we will have to wait for the combine, but I would not be surprised if he moves up as time goes by.
  2. Can I have some of what you are smoking? The Bills will be lucky to win two more games gives their awful Offensive Line, poor QB play, pourous run defense and last, and certainly not least, abysmal coaching.
  3. 41-10 Pats. Starters benched after 3 quarters prevents this from being a total embarrassment
  4. The Bills are a train wreck. Surprisd that the line isn't +20
  5. Are we a Playoff team on paper?? In your dreams. But I will say that at least we are finally headed in the right direction. This year has 4-12 written all over it as the young players we drafter get assimilated into our team, especially on the OL where we will have 5 new starters. Everyone knows that it takes an OL time to come together. I actually think that will happen, but it will take time. At least a year for the players to learn their new positions while becoming comfortable with those around them. We still have major questions at OLB and DT. Our QB has not proven that he can play at a consistent level or hold up thru a 16 game season. Our Head Coach has not proven to be a winner or good game day coach and we have a lot of players who have "potential". I think that we have a lot of questions and this team will take a while to jell. But I can say that at least we are addressing our problems and the future looks a lot brighter for 2010 and beyond IF the players we just brought in perform like we think, but to think we even have a chance at the playoffs this year is insane.
  6. totally agrre unless major changes are made along with a good draft. What a sorry set of affairs. I couldn't have said it better. It is shaping up to be a really painful season made all the more apinful by the initial promise of getting TO, but then basically doing nothing.
  7. I was actually thinking the same thing. I got up this morning looking forward to several Buffalo opinions/perspectives on the trade and there was only one article. Budget cuts I guess. pretty worthless......
  8. I agree with your opinion. Britton is the exact opposite of Peters and will make the team better. He may not have Peter's talent, but I think He will do well. I also think they should get Alex Mack, Max Unger or Eric Wood with the 43nd pick and Chase Coffman with the 75th pick.
  9. I totally agree with you. Not sure what this organization's plan is. They have a chance to right the ship, but past history tells me we are Fu#@
  10. The other posters are acting intelligent. I suggest you do the same. In addition to the OL being a mess with no continuity (at least 2 new starters), we have NO pass rush. We also have NO OLB right now and our DL has a hard time stopping the run. Most importantly, how can you say we are solid at QB? Trent played very well at times, but also very bad at times, and he has a penchant for getting injured. He still has a long way to go before I will say we are solid at QB. Finally, we have one of the worst coaching staffs in the league starting with our head coach. I don't think we will win many games there. I hope we start to turn it around, but 6 wins seems about right as I think we are actually worse than last year at the moment as the addition of TO has more than been offset by losses on the OL, at TE and no serious replacements on the DL or at LB. Just stating the facts. Looking through rose colored glasses is fine, by reality needs to be recognized eventually.
  11. Couldn't disagree with you more. You miss the whole point. Without a QB, you have no chance in the NFL. This is the rarest of rare opportunitied to get asuperior franchise QB. You jump at that chance. If the Bills don't at least try, it shows that it is hopeless...
  12. It would be so awesome to get him. Watched Cutler in college and he reminded me a little of Jim Kelly. I'm sure it won't happen, but it does look as if cutler is going to leave Denver. Interesting...
  13. I want no part of him. He's a low class no character criminal who got away with murder. Yes, he does motivate players around him, but the interest is way to high for me.
  14. We need a top flight DE before ANYTHING else. Brian Okafor from Texas is exactly what we need to start with.
  15. He is EXACTLY what the Bills need. Someone with the physical skills who can put pressure on the QB unlike the trio we currently have. He was in the Ohio State backfield all night and he is the difference maker this team needs to move to the next level. We can only hope the Bills daft players like him this year.
  16. After 10 years with the ticket, I also am not renewing it. I cannot take the arrogance of Ralph Wilson anymore and if I get the ticket, I will be forced to watch another year of jauron;'s failed policies and practices leaving the Bills with another losing season. I will still root for them, but will not invest any more of my money, and, more importantly, my emotions in this sad sad organization anymore. Really Sad.
  17. couldn't agree more. As a fan for 30 years, I feel exactly the way you described it. Really sad.....
  18. Well said. I'm done. Wilson has insulted all Bills fans with his latest move
