You seriously need help......................

Totally agree. This team has no sense of what they are doing. Yes. They are competitive, but does anyone really think they are going to win anytime soon?

This Marrone fella, he's gonna be a good one
DE Bills Fan replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree. I questioned the Marrone hiring at the time and still do. How do you miss so badly on player evaluation at the most important position. The losing will continue with this regime as it has for the past 13 years. Sad.............but True!!! -
Where is The Fan Confidence Level in This Staff ?
DE Bills Fan replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Totally agree with all of your points. I too questioned the Marrone hire, and he is actually coming off worse than I even thought. PATHETIC!. My interest in this team is at an all time low. I still don't understand Marrone's logic with the QB situation (not sure if he has any). I just don't see this current group being able to turn the team around. I think you will see a new coaching staff in either 2015 or 2016 as this team has no chance to win when the coach can't even properly evaluate his own team.......... -

I was saying the exact same thing yesterday. This organization is a J-O-K-E. The lowest point in the 35 years of me being a fan. Really regret buying the Sunday Ticket this year -

How about the Pat's!!!

The best post that I read today, and I have read a lot. I had no real hope going into the season, and it looks like just more of the same. Pathetic, just pathetic..........................

Marone haha. Nobody but the Bills would give this guy a job. Totally agree. Not sure he can make it as a head coach. Still have a lot of questions about him.....
-
I was thinking the same thing, and this is NOT the first time that this happened. I was concerned about the Marrone hiring and still have those concerns. Seems overmatched at times....
-
Great point. I have been concerned about this as well. We are in real trouble if we have any injuries to our "O" line as we lost all of our depth from last year. Hope no one gets seriously injured this year....

Steve Smith Trash Talks Andre Reed on WoF Day

Wait one cotton pickin second...the first fight, Mick was pushed in the hall and died. It was Apollo Creed who trained Rocky for the second fight and Clubber was talkin smack at the start of the second fight to Apollo (as I recall). You are totally correct; BUT, Clubber also went after Apollo in the first fight as well. Remember, Apollo was introduced in the ring in a suit and went over to shake hands with Clubber. Clubber says": Don't need nuthin you got no more, and you better get that bad look off of your face before I take it off; You wanna chuck, chuck; Yeah, like a chicken, you better run". Then Apollo went over to Rocky and said " Do us all a favor and drop this punk". So, technically, you are both correct............. -
Marrone - this loss is on you both

Liked the fact that he had the team ready to play and hitting hard. Tha said, there were some major coaching concerns: * Challenge in the first quarter on the Pat's running back fumbling. - It made no difference as the Pat's recovered anyway. Wasted timeout that was even questoned by the announcers (Bad decision) * Not giving Fred Jackson more touches. It was obvious that Fred came to play today. Not sure what was going on with Spiller, but Jackson should have been used more * Time Management in the Fourth Quarter - With the lead, the Bills should have adjusted their gameplan and went with using more clock to give the Pat's less time to comeback. It seemed like it was Marrone's own hubris which cost him their as it seemed he was determined to continue with the rapid fire palycalling. Stupid decision where there could easily have taken more time off of the clock, especially calling a passing play on thet 30 second drive with 5 minutes to go. He should have adjuted to the situatiuon and did not. Hopefully he will learn from this.... -
S/B double that given the current state of the Bills roster., Will be painful to watch.....................

I have been thinking the same thing. I watched a lot of Oklahoma the last two years seeing if Landry Jones would be a decent pro and, while I agree that he does have some weaknesses, I feel he is as good, if not better, than the other prospects. He is a 4 year starter, has a strong arm, is big at over 6'4", played in a pro style offense in a major conference and set almost all the NCAA passing records and is a first ballot NCAA Hall of Famer. I think he is getting beat up for his fumble and late interception vs. Kansas State and his play in the Cotton Bowl vs. Texas A&M. But what QB didn't have bad plays? Why is Landry singled out? I just don't get it. Some other things to consider: He threw for over 300 yards vs. Notre Dame. It was not his fault that ND manhandled OU on both the Offensive and Defensive Lines and could not run or stop the run all night. Also, he only had 1 receiver come back (Kenny Stills) and lost his #1 go-to guy in Brian Broyles, and it took him some time to get into rhythm with the new receivers which he did, which is not unusual. he should get credit for that instead of ctiticism. He led 2 late come from behind victories vs. West Virginia and Okla State and honestly, OU was not that good this year. They were absolutely horrible on Defense so Landry Jones was always pressured to perform and put up big numbers. This cumulated with a pathetic performance vs. Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl where the entire team played horribly,. Overall, I like Landry Jones and with the right coaching I think he can be a decent pro. I think none of the other QB's have his background and none are really better than him overall. He also has weaknesses which need to be improved, so I guess it comes down to him developing more. Time will tell...... -

I really hope they go for Landey Jones. Best QB to be a pro out of college. Really! What is your basis. How can you say that when none of the QB's are a slam dunk, and when you consider what Jones did in college vs. the others, you can make an intelligent arguement for picking Jones. Would be interested in hearing your arguements why you are so opposed to Landry Jones and why you feel any of the other QB's are THAT much better........... I totally agree with you and have been saying the same thing for the past couple of months. Good post! -
Landry Jones - QB - Oklahoma
DE Bills Fan replied to thebandit27's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Couldn't agree more with you! I was very high on Landry Jones, but there are some questions with him that have popped up. Still, I think there are issues with all of the QB prospects, and, given his success in college, his size, 4 year starter, strong arm, good person. I think the Bills should grab him in the second round after getting the BPA in Round #1. Hope that you are right!!!! Totally agree with you! I have been a big supporter of him, but his play this year left some questions. That said, all of the QB prospects have questions and when you consider his size, strong arm, 4 year starter, strong character not to mention being at the top of the list in all key College Career QB stats as well as winning 3 bowl games and 2 come from behind victories this year, he definitely warrants a shot. At least as much as the other QB's and don't forget, he beat Geno Smith by throwing aTD pass on the last play of the game to beat him. Not sure why he is so under-rated.... Hope that you are right!
