My pendulum swings side to side, and I'll stick with Beane and McDermott instead of some unknown replacement. But that is just my opinion.

Just a general comment. Any man who overly concerns himself over a rival football team's player, his girlfriend and/or his retired brother is just mind-boggling to me. Maybe it's my age, or the way I was raised, or something else, but it just amazes me how some men get upset over this stuff. I'm not saying people don't have a right to do it, I just don't understand it and don't want to try. LOL.

I'm usually of the opinion if it was a break (or something really bad) we would have heard rumors about it already. The longer the silence the better IMO.

A real effort needs to be made to get him involved. I'm sure they have been trying earlier in the season but now it's a necessity.

HC McDermott had to make a split-second decision on sending Bass in. He doesn't have the chance to think about things like fans do in the aftermath of things. If Bass would have missed it, McDermott would have lived with it and regrouped to fight another day. A leader has to make the tough decisions. I'm glad it worked out for him and the team. Bravo Sean!
