  1. Agree, unless a couple of teams have a 1st round grade on a player they really want, and some kind of bidding war starts. Beane makes the pick or trades for a very favorable deal.
  2. Exactly how I see it. Really hope he hits on his Day 2 picks tonight!
  3. I'm of the opinion that the 1st round talent was drying up and none of the teams were willing to go back to Pick #28. Your "takes two to tango" is lost on a lot of fans.
  4. So does mine. I hope the 2 KC picks don't help their team and I hope the 2 Bills picks do. I'm a fan, not a soothsayer.
  5. What if everything you stated is not true and just speculation? Without seeing Beane's board none of us know exactly why.
  6. All informed Bills fans know this. My point was Beane was not the GM.
  7. Beane wasn't the GM for the Mahomes trade. My wish as a Bills fan is that this trade goes well for the Bills and bad for the Chiefs. A Worthy bust along with Pick #133 coupled with 2 Buffalo Bills stars at #33 and #95 would be awesome! A football fan's hope springs eternal. Can't wait for tonight!
  8. Beane is missing a 5th and 7th rounder in next year's draft. I'm certain he will look to get them back on Saturday. It would be great to deal off one of the lower round 5ths to a team not projected to be all that good for their 2025 5th and 7th.
  9. I'll wait for the draft to finish before I give my opinion on Beane's moves. I also never gave any opinion on Worthy. He could "bust" or be great.
  10. I'd bet my bottom dollar that if Beane moved up to draft Worthy certain people would be calling for his head. Stuff like "he gave up a 3rd rounder for a 4th comp pick". We now have only one other pick in the top 130. "KC fleeced him". This board is so predictable.
  11. Thank you for posting. I was just figuring the difference and you saved me a lot of work. I think Beane did good IF he is getting his WR with pick #33 that he would have taken at 28.
  12. I was just going to say it's looking good to trade back for Washington's Pick #36 and #100.
  13. You are on igone until after the draft.
  14. As much as the Buffalo Bills have appreciated in value, selling the 25% to finance everything seems pretty smart to me. His net worth has been rising every year and he just sits back from now on and makes money. As for the "investor", if it's a guy who wants to get his name in the running for a team of his/her own in the future, it makes sense. In the meantime, he sits back and makes money for doing nothing.
  15. I'm thinking trading back for Washington's Pick #40 and #78 or Washington's Pick #36 and #100. I think Washington would want to get back into the 1st round.
  16. This is why I don't believe the cap going up enables teams to get better players, it's just more money for the current talent.
  17. Once again, why won't fans learn to wait for the details before jumping to conclusions. Replacing Brown, LOL.
  18. Being a one-time football great doesn't give him a pass with me. I've washed my hands of him years ago. People can think what they want.
  19. I do believe that was all Brady and HIS gameplan. I so want Josh to start to think that way. Sometimes you have to purposely wait for the 3rd read to come open.
  20. This is what I keep saying. Make the D defend the entire field, not one guy.
  21. Nobody is getting a pass, least off Brandon Beane. He (and McD) are not going anywhere. They are more than competent in their jobs. IF they were fired teams from around the league would be lining up to hire them. As Will Sonnet said, "No brag, just fact".
  22. I see no reason for Josh Allen and the Bills WRs needing to get together to practice before the draft. There is plenty of time after the draft. Let the guys have a couple of months off.
