  1. Time for a Bills score of the Edmunds INT!
  2. The UB site may be a new option. I don't think we know what final costs for each location (non OP) might be. It would be best IMO if they take a few months to look at all the options. I would imagine the most important line item would be the eventual breakdown of WNY taxpayer share of the entire project. I get a sneaky feeling that none of this will be finalized until after the federal infrastructure bill is passed and the possibility of some fed money is determined.
  3. I'm not a fan of all that movement just because Mongo is out. Bills took a tender out on Ike B. and he is the depth chart backup. I would like to see him start in place on Mongo. Ike is a UFA next year and it seems to me you got to see if he has a future in Buffalo.
  4. Bengals secure 1st place in the AFCN for another week. Chalk up another conference win. Their OL played a good game. Looks like they really upgraded from last year.
  5. I agree. Give your rookie QB as much breathing room as you can especially on the road. Not scoring put a big negative on his head going into the locker room. Bad decision the way I see it.
  6. I'd like to see that play will Beasley and Josh.
  7. Out here in Colorado the sod just dries up and blows away replaced with weeks. I xeriscaped. LOL.
  8. Actually just curious to see these 2 young guys play.
  9. Yep 1st year with them. He was catching every 5 yard pass from TT in the first 2 games.
  10. I guess it just would confuse me as to why the team would force injured guys to play? If they are hurt sit them.
  11. I'm not speaking for @John from Riverside but the way I took it is IF some guys need a week off to get over some injuries this is the week that has the least impact to still field a team that can win.
  12. The vacant land AND the Audubon Golf Course would give enough land for sure.
  13. So far so good with the Sanders signing. Whether he is a core WR or a significant part of the WR corps can be debated. One thing I know for sure is a lot of posters thought that Beane signed a "corpse" for too much money.
  14. Unless Miami had all the picks as "conditional" they would be crazy to trade for him before the legal stuff is done. It seems to me the more deals that are done between these 2 teams the worse they get. They should block each others phone numbers.
  15. I wouldn't call it a problem nor would I say it's a strength. With the combination of elder players getting slower and the young guys needed to learn more it's a work in progress. There are some hopeful signs. There will be great games this year along with not so good games. IMO.
  16. I'm not advocating getting rid of DW. I was only bringing up cap implications. Like I said IF they wanted to trade him his contract is not an issue. You are correct his money is not huge for the position. I do hope his play picks back up to last years standards. It's a long season and you just got to see how players perform game by game. The whole OL is playing a little weak but that could change at any time!
  17. The comments and ranking all look pretty accurate. At least that is how I saw it during the game.
  18. Exactly. I also think Beane is set up pretty good to have a handle on that for the immediate future. It will be signing a few of his own FAs and get the bulk of the depth and hopeful starters in the Draft and UDFA. I get a feeling a lot of fans will be sad when he doesn't sign a lot of market FAs.
  19. Thanks Gunner for breaking down how contracts like this actually work out. I believe if/when Edmunds is signed this is the structure and your overall numbers are probably really close. Now if you use this type of structure (albeit to a lesser degree and terms) in signing Taron Johnson I have no fear that they can't get both done next year. Too often poster look at the AAV vs current Cap and come to wild speculations. Side Note: If Andre Smith is as capable as some of us hope Klein very much could be a cut and another LB taken in the mid round draft next year. Same holds true about Dodson staying who is an ERFA next year who is backing up Edmunds on the depth chart. I say all this with the expectations that Edmunds can incrementally keep improving.
  20. DWs contract definitely could be tradeable. One detail to consider is he gets $4.35M guaranteed 2023 Salary on the 5th day of 2022. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/daryl-williams-16828/
  21. If Jordan has to sit it will be interesting to see who replaces him. Hamlin is next on the depth chart but Jaquan Johnson has more game experience.
