  1. I am too. We've both seen this team since the '60s, so we seen it all. I can question and complain some, but it's been a pretty exciting time to be a Bills fan these last few years!
  2. I don't know how many more times I can say I want the OL to be prioritized over everything else on the offsense.
  3. Mike was a great Bill that I remember well. My dad suffered from Parkinson's for years and then had a couple of strokes. At the end, half his body shook uncontrollably, and the other half was partially paralyzed. It was tough to see him go through that.
  4. Yes, and for the umpteenth time I want another OT in the draft, at a minimum. Even if Brown improves and the rookie can't unseat him as a starter, there is no one worthy of depth that can come in and perform well. It's a long season and OL guys get injured.
  5. Just want to say to @Shaw66and @GunnerBilland @Beck Water, I enjoyed your posts and replies to each other. This board needs more of that and less "everything sucks" posts.
  6. For sure. He has also been an iron man for that team. If he ever missed a bunch of games...............................
  7. Josh is my QB, and I love the guy and want no other for my Bills, but let's not think he's perfect. Lots of drops from RBs and SWR are caused by Josh not taking some off the pass. If you watch the games, you know it's true. Also, the Bills OL as a whole is weak in setting up certain type of plays, especially screens. Josh could work more on his slant passes too. Add the FACT that Josh has an arm like no other means he throws more "unexpected" passes at his targets. He can't be the easiest QB to catch balls from with his rocket of an arm. It's no big deal if a little bit of tradeoff is expected with a QB of his skills.
  8. Wait, McDermott wants Josh to not take too many chances running. This board melted down and evidently wants him to run more! Bills need to trade for Henry and teach him how to throw. You know, in case Josh gets injured we can have the same type of player at QB.
  9. Position wise I'm fine with either. I guess my only question is, if one is selected what type of players are we looking at for the other position in the 2nd round?
  10. Nothing that Beane and the Bills can do about the Jets off season moves. When gameday comes around we will see who is better. AFCW was going to be all that and tough for KC to handle last year too.
  11. That seal's it for me. I'm not even going to watch the games!
  12. They will be looking for a fit in the draft (they got a lot of picks). I can see them also adding a FA after the draft to complete. They are weak right now. They won't stand pat. Right now, all their eggs are in the Kelce basket.
  13. Is this Jets deal going to be a multi-year deal? No way I see the Bills doing that.
  14. If one of the good corners are available at #27, I think it would give Beane one of the few good chances to trade down! If it's a weak draft, there won't be a lot of players teams are willing to trade up to get.
  15. It seems it could be the "wildcard" to have something different of D. It seems to me this whole MLB size versus coverage is not only an issue for Buffalo, but a league wide one. RBs, Tight Ends and SWRs seem to feast, depending on circumstances, with both styles of MLBs. I'd love to hear McDermott and his D coaches discuss this issue and the "possible" counterattacks. The only thing I keep coming up with is Milano gets the green dot (he's on the field constantly) and there is some sort of rotation between 2 different types of MLBs. But that was "old school" so something else would have to be added. Maybe a swapping of the normal NCB with a Heavy Nickel to add a little more muscle when the lighter MLB is on the field? Any type of D like this would have to be very game specific depending on the opponent as to which style is the base for that game. I know it's probably just a crazy idea, but I keep going back to why they drafted Bernard (who clearly looked like he didn't fit in last year's D) and them knowing that Edmunds was probably gone for this year. It's a puzzlement.
  16. Yes. Get your core players and sign the rest to short contracts. I believe the Bills are moving toward that.
  17. He's on the field too much for me. Bills need to use the TEs more. I got no problem with drafting another TE too. KC used 2 other TEs (Bell got hurt) and threw to TE over 200 times. The Bills threw to TEs 77 times. Modern NFL Offenses use TEs.
  18. KC is even worse. Bills have 36 players under contract next season and the Chiefs have 26. That's after you subtract the void year contracts.
  19. Top WR/TE 2022 Snap Count % and Targets Davis - 85% - 93 Diggs - 77% - 154 Knox (TE) - 76% - 65 McKenzie - 51% - 65 Shakir - 25% - 20 Just to compare to the Chiefs: Kelce (TE) - 80% - 151 Valdes-Scandling - 67% - 81 Smith - Schuster - 66% - 101 Grey (TE) - 52% - 34 Watson - 43% - 34 Moore - 27% - 33 Hardman - 26% - 34 (Injured) Anybody see something that sticks out when we talk about the Bills #2 WR? I'll say it again, Davis gets to many snaps and targets and Knox not enough targets. That's just to start.
  20. It's a need at OT. Tommy Doyle is practically an unknown. His 1 game last year was his total of snaps for the season. Q is once again another 1 year JAG. Dawkins, Brown and Doyle will all be in their last year of their contracts next season. If Dawkins goes down and Brown doesn't improve Josh could be in big trouble.
  21. Yes. He needs at a minimum 2 more targets per game. The other WR debate (which is part of the Davis debate) is the slot. Fans want a top-notch slot receiver and I want the following. Diggs, Harty, Shakir, Sherfield and Davis all can play inside and outside. Diggs takes off about 25% of the offensive plays. That's just the way he is. Davis should have his total # of snaps diminished, especially if he can't prove to catch the ball better. It seems to me that having a bigger rotation both on the outside and slot could be a real nightmare for opposing Ds. Put pressure on the NCB or the zone area protecting against the slot receiver.
  22. You are missing David Edwards at G. When it comes to the IOL it seems to me the big question (which I don't think anyone knows for sure) is future at C. If they got that figured out then I see the OT as the need.
  23. With the way that the Bills 2024 UFAs are currently looking, he may be able to swing a couple next year too. It's something Beane will keep an eye on no matter what some fans think. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2024/all/buffalo-bills//
  24. For the first 3 picks I think it's safe to say they won't be ALL offense or defense. So, for me it's this, is it 2 O and 1 D or the opposite. I want the 2 O. 4th round pick will be the wildcard to make it O orientated or spllt.
