My heart is telling me that the Bills are very high on Brian Thomas Jr. and Xavier Legette. Both players are very “Beansy” picks. If BTJ fell to #20 I could very much see Beane giving up a future 3rd/4th and swapping picks like he did with Kincaid.

Would you rather: A.) Trade up to #7 for Malik Nabers or Marvin Harrison Jr. for (2024 1st, 2024 4th and 2025 1st, 2025 2nd) or B.) Take a WR at #28 and package our #60 pick and a future 3rd to move to the top of RD2 to take a second WR of your choosing?

I’m hoping we just double down on WR in the draft and take two guys in the 1st/2nd round.

• The Bills could potentially go up to #5-#8 for MHJ or Nabers. We have the capital to do so. • We could potentially go up to #15 for BTJ. • We could stay at #28 and draft a WR there and then trade into the top of RD2 and double down on WR yet again. (Walking away with two top 40 WR prospects.) • We could stay at #28 and package our RD2 pick from HOU along with our RD3 next year to go back into the 1st and draft two RD1 talents. Lots of possibilities going into the draft.

Because since he’s been our GM we’ve gone 64-34 in the regular season and 5-5 in the playoffs. Not to mention we have a 7-8 year Super Bowl window largely due to the fact that he drafted Josh Allen. And he drafted Allen in a very aggressive way I might add, he swung for the fences and hit a grand slam I might add.

The extra RD2 pick changes the way I view things.

I could not agree more. I think Beane at the very minimum goes up for Brian Thomas Jr.. AND I think it’s very possible that he would go up to #8-#10 for Marvin Harrison Jr. or Malik Naber. I also expect a second WR will be added at some point during the draft. You’re absolutely right, Beane will not sit still.

I think Buffalo takes that extra RD2 pick and goes up for BTJ, but I do think if something crazy happens like MHJ or Nabers falls to 10, Buffalo will give up multiple 1sts to move up to get one.

Diggs would have vetoed going to any team that isn’t a contender. Why did we trade him? Because he’s 31 and he didn’t want to be here.

What does the Diggs trade mean to our offense? Well, Buffalo will have $19M more cap space in 2025 and Buffalo now has an extra RD2 pick that we can use to move up with in an extremely dense if not historic WR draft.. Let’s just wait and see what happens on the 28th.

And Diggs is going to be 31 in November.. Realistically, how many good years does he have left?

Our roster is still elite. When Josh Allen is your QB, you’re going to the playoffs. We may need some help at WR but we still have Samuel, Kincaid, Knox, Shakir, Cook and it looks like Beane is about double down on WR in the draft. I am not even remotely worried.

Only a QB is worth that much capital.

Legette is a boom or bust prospect, same goes for Mitchell. At this point I’m hoping we trade up for Brian Thomas Jr.. He’s a true #1. Add someone like Troy Franklin, Xavier Worthy, Ja’Lynn Polk, Burton or Pearsall in RD2.

Troy Franklin is my guy (if we don’t trade up for Brian Thomas Jr.). A strong case could be made for Xavier Legette or Xavier Worthy as well.

This is the perfect time to dump Diggs. This draft is loaded at WR.

I love those guys at Cover 1, I don’t always agree with them, but I bet you $100 that when the 2025 NFL Draft incurs, fans will be euphoric that we have an extra RD2 pick.

I can’t wait to see Cover 1 break this down.

Long term I give this trade an A+ but short term I give this trade a B+ but then again this draft class is lucratively deep at WR so we’ll just have to wait and see how this thing plays out.

Until he gets that first ring he’ll have that monkey on his back..
