  1. Would make one hell of a Hard Knocks story
  2. I agree. Heck is a hell of a player and deserves an opportunity
  3. Why have Elijah Moore drop passes when Gabe can do it?
  4. What's Henry Jones doing these days?
  5. I can't take how we played last night. I couldn't sleep. I couldn't focus at work today. My mind was on nothing but how bad we played. We aren't going anywhere this year. I think I'm gonna go heavy on Labatt blue tonight. Just kidding. I'm fine. Everything is good. It's only preseason 😁
  6. I wouldn't say "guarantee" but my as close as possible to it would have been Myles Garrett. I wanted him so badly because he is such a huge missing piece on our defense and I think could have been the difference maker in the playoffs Lol. Mahomes would be in the exact same spot here if the roles were reversed. He would have no championships and Allen would have at least 2 with Andy Reid
  7. For what it's worth....that was an INT he had. It was clear on the replay. Of course the refs decided to....you know
  8. The team was ran horribly under Whaley. I don't think it would have mattered. He hired Doug Marrone and Rex Ryan as head coaches. And he wasn't fantastic with talent. He brought in what Jerry Hughes and LeSean McCoy? His 2014 draft sucked. His 2015 draft sucked. His 2016 draft sucked. What exactly did he do? And Donahoe brought in Bledsoe. You can't say he did nothing about it. He also brought in Troy Vincent, Takeo Spikes, London Fletcher, Lawyer Milloy. He drafted guys like Aaron Schoebel, Travis Henry, Nate Clements, Willis McGahee, Lee Evans. But he also hired 2 idiot head coaches with Gregg Williams and Mike Milarkey. And I don't think McDermott was a Whaley hire. That was Terry and Kim. Beane is better than any GM we have had since Butler. That's a fact
  9. And did what with it in the 4 years he was here? What about Donahoe? He brought in some great talent to. What happened? Beane has done more than fined the QB. He has nailed mid to late round draft picks nearly every season. He made a trade for Diggs which was huge in Allen's development. Like come on, really?
  10. Yes, but those were moreso a McDermott signings. Just like I believe that draft was more a McDermott draft than a Whaley draft. Whaley sucked every free agency and draft he was here but in 2017 he just managed to nail it all around right before he left? Lol. I don't think so
  11. I hope we beat the Ravens week 1. If we do, there's the possibility with our schedule of a 7-0 start going into the Chiefs game. I doubt we start off 7-0 but there is no reason why we shouldn't
  12. Yep. And bring back Doug Whaley or Buddy Nix and cut his a**
  13. Say this 10 times real fast
  14. If the Chiefs get to the Super Bowl this year, it would be their 4th straight. That is a record we still currently hold and would I love to keep that way. Let's hope all of the Chiefs division opponents can get their heads out of their a**es and help us out and give them a few extra losses. I think home field throughout for us helps a great deal. Either way, we gotta take them down. Go Bills
  15. I get what you're saying. But the point is, even if we went to or won one at this point, McDermott is basically right on part with other HOF head coaches based on playoff records. He is 7-7. If he had won a Super Bowl. He'd be 8-6. It's not far off. I agree, his defenses can be better in the playoffs. But even the best or greatest HC don't have great playoff records
  16. To be fair, even a lot of HOF head coaches only have .500 career playoff records or worse. Tony Dungy has a 9-10 playoff record and he had Peyton Manning for a lot of that. Andy Reid's playoff record before winning his first Super Bowl was 12-14. Bill Cowher is 12-9. Marty Schottenheimer was 5-13. John Harbaugh is 13-11. Getting to and winning the Super Bowl is hard. You not only have to have a great coach that knows what he is doing, you also have to have some luck on your side. It's not a walk in the park
  17. The weirdest part to me about the drought years, is that we made hires at the time that seemed like good ones. Tom Donahoe and Doug Whaley worked for the Steelers before coming over to Bills. Donahoe was there throughout the 90s as "Director of Football Operations" and was part of building very successful teams. Including going to the Super Bowl in 1995 and multiple championship game appearances. After he was let go by us, he became a Senior Advisor and then won a Super Bowl as the Senior Director of Player Personnel" with the Eagles in 2017. He made some good signings and draft picks with the Bills but somehow just couldn't figure it out as far as actually having a good team. Whaley was also part if the Steelers organization throughout the 2000's when they made and won 2 Super Bowls. Yet, comes here and is a huge failure. Buddy Nix was actually a scout for us back in the 90s working under Butler and AJ Smith when we still built solid teams throughout the 90s. He followed Butler and Smith over to San Diego. He was the director of Player Personnel and then became assistant GM after Butler died. Him and Smith built solid teams there the entire decade. He comes back to Buffalo and can't figure it out. It's mind blowing how ridiculous and baffling it all was Thank God for Beane and McDermott who had a sure plan and built it their way and have made it work
  18. He was only GM one year. And he was here right up until McDermott's first year. He was president I believe when Buddy Nix was here so they weren't separate times
  19. This is why I tell anyone who screams for Beane and McDermott to be fired, we could easily be right back in the mess that preceeded them. I get they haven't won a Super Bowl. I understand where their critics are coming from but I would much rather have the competence we have had for nearly the last decade even if we never win one than go back to the nearly 2 decades before it.
  20. He has been talking since last season that he wants no part of paying a RB over $10 million a year and was more than willing to let Cook walk
  21. Someone go check on Bulldog
