  1. Not to mention to have trade value to the NFL's most dominant team for two decades running...
  2. I'm sure NFL teams are lining up to give heaps of guaranteed $$ to both Percy and Vontae.
  3. Breaking news: Vontae Davis to un-retire. Feels his body is finally healed and ready to come back after the first half. I kid.
  4. Unfortunately, this seems painfully too clear to me at this point. I don't claim to have any special insight on Foster's status with this coaching staff but his total lack of production this preseason makes me wonder how much the Alabama UDFA wants to be here. With the highlight reel Foster put together last year (along with the 20 yards per reception average which put him in elite company), he knows that if cut, he will be immediately scooped up by another team. So it's not like last year when being released and then placed on the practice squad were a wake-up call for him and his NFL future. This time around, Foster will have other options and he knows that. Sadly I think he's as good as gone.
  5. Wow!! Just wow! LOVE that we got this 1st round talent in the 2nd round.
  6. This. So, so impressed with this 7th round diamond in the rough the first two preseason games. We just may have struck gold twice in the 7th round this draft: DJ and Tommy Sweeney.
  7. Really well reasoned, Colorado. When I first watched it, my gut reaction was: "Uh oh, shades of Jacket-gate". Your logic however is flawless. If the Bills brass had been embarassed by this and saws it as a red flag, NO WAY in hell does this scene make the final (editing) cut.
  8. So, in the original quote, it cites the $400 Billion ("B" as in Bills) and in the next paragraph $400 Million ("M" as in Matt Milano). Quite a difference. I haven't read the book but I can't imagine Ralph EVER would have agreed to a $400 BILLION non-relocation penalty. On the other hand, $400 Million doesn't seem like that much at all if you're a multi-billionaire. If you're an immensely wealthy businessman and the team would be worth 3-4 times its value in WNY if it were relocated to LosAngeles, for example, $400 Million would seem like peanuts, no?
  9. That is indeed SOOO awesome to see!! Thanks for posting that.
  10. Inigo, that would mean that Josh's career only lasted 7 years (plus the 5 year wait for the first ballot Hall of Fame.) Now granted, he would have to be mighty spectacular in those 7 years to be inducted after such a short playing career but I would prefer to see him inducted in more like 20 years.
  11. Well, the Philadelphia Eagles won a Super Bowl led by backup Nick Foles so it IS possible. Just very, very rare.
  12. Sven is right. Imagine if the Bills had traded up to #3 overall to assure themselves Ed Oliver or Quinnen Williams. We would have been happy in the moment but likely without our 2nd and 3rd rounder and perhaps without some 2020 draft asset. Patience is a virtue. There will be an excellent football player at #40 whether it's DK or someone else. Stay put.
  13. Te quiero, Ezra. Fue un honor y una inspiración conocerte en Orchard Park el año pasado. Paolo
  14. This. Burns physically is a reincarnation of Maybin. Can you think of any comparable NFL pass rusher who has been highly successful with Burns'/Maybin's physique? Me neither. I'll go further. I don't want him at #9 overall or in the 2nd or 3rd round either even were he to slide because I don't believe his body will hold up against NFL offensive linemen. Why waste a day 1 or 2 draft pick on the dude?
  15. So you're saying there's a chance Peterman becomes a franchise QB at some point for some NFL team? Gotcha.
  16. I totally agree with this. I guess his best "quality" in college was his phenomenal production (399 receptions is crazy) albeit at a smaller college program. But yeah, the trade up still made no sense whatsoever.
  17. With all due respect, I don't think that's a fair analogy. Hughes may not be the prototypical DE size but if you compare Brian Burns and Jerry Hughes side by side, Hughes has tree trunks for thighs; Brian Burns physique resembles Aaron Maybin. That scares me, at pick #9 or even #40. I'm not paid to evaluate these guys so if McBeane love the guy, go ahead. I see a guy who gets pancaked just like Maybin did at the NFL level.
