    Since when are snowballs seen as such a serious thing? I mean, jeeze. What if Christian McCaffrey got hit with a snowball!!!!!??? My gosh, would he ever recover???

    That was my thought as well. A drunk fan probably bumped into her, causing her to fall. Something like that.

    I don't want anyone to have a 2nd chance. I want the losing team to go home, no matter how good they are. I like that about football.

    Yeah, he is a Shakir clone. We already have one of those. Free agency happens BEFORE the draft. Samuel would have been signed regardless.

    I don't think it is unfortunate. I think it is the best. I love that about football. I like that there can be unexpected results some years because you can go out there and execute a game plan and play with everything you have for 60 minutes to topple the best teams in the league.

    That tackle by Rapp to prevent the TD was HUGE. Now we are up 14 to 3.

    They are missing some big time players and their QB is beat up, though. McDermott has an excellent record against Shanahan and his entire coaching tree.

    Sure, but trading for Douglas mid season at least shows that Elam was not ready to start, right?

    That's the absolute hardest legal hit you can possibly see in today's NFL. Ouch. What's a stretch? He was 1st team All-Pro in 2022.

    Lots of snow is even more fun. Some of those heavy snow games were really fun at the time. And if you don't think the shoveling for $20 per hour is worth it, then don't do it. Others will, though.

    So funny that people don't get this. A bunch of 30 to 60 year old men with careers who can't handle watching a football game without a dome are clearly not the target demographic.

    I'd choose Mahomes. Nobody is more important than the QB.

    I'm not talking about historically elite.

    I think it is elite. 8th in points against. 3rd in yards. 6th in yards per play. They have one of the top defenses in the league this year for sure. Their defensive coordinator routinely steps up in critical situations and games, too.

    Yeah, that is a given. I was saying that right before the debacle as well.

    I give the Chiefs plenty of credit all the time, but anyone pointing to this win and a handful of other EXTREMELY fluky wins and claiming that it is some brilliance by their part are just blowing smoke or are just too enamored with their success to see things clearly.

    The Chiefs make plenty of mistakes, including turning over the ball a lot. They get plenty of penalties. I don't think they are some bastion of fundamentals the rest of the NFL looks to. They have an elite defense, a really good QB, and a really good head coach. That has always been a recipe for staying in most games.

    The Chiefs continue to be the luckiest team ever. It is super annoying.

    So he can be the next in a long line of good playcallers to flame out as a head coach? He isn't a sure thing any more than any of them were.

    That was an epic failure yesterday. Anyone involved deserves major criticism, especially the coach. Given everything else that has gone on, it would be criminal not to fire him.
