No thanks. Draft and develop your own receivers. You never see KC making big splash trades like this, and they have had just as many issues with WR talent. They sign cheap guys and draft to develop. Let the perennial losing teams make the big splash trades.

What’s up with the bills usage of Kincaid?

TE's all over the league have been pretty disappointing so far this year. It's an interesting trend. -
Tom Pelissero: Bills Sign DT Zion Logue off of Falcons PS
MJS replied to Arkady Renko's topic in The Stadium Wall
We lost a game. Don't you know that means every player is now bad, the coaches suck, and the team is soft? We can't say anything good about the team or players until we win a game again. Then we can make superbowl projections. -
Incorrect. I never said he was going 22.5 mph. My original post stated that he was going nearly 22 mph, which was my memory from the broadcast. Maybe some other poster mentioned 22.5. I'm not sure. Sorry, I don't trust your numbers. You calculated his top speed wrong. So the 17 mph number you keep mentioning is likely also wrong, and also irrelevant. Of course he wasn't traveling at top speed for the entire run. He spent time at anywhere between 0 and 21.3 mph throughout the run. Players take time to accelerate and decelerate. Everyone understands that. The question is whether or not our defensive backs are slow, because of an assumption that Henry must be slow because he is a large back. Well, he isn't slow. He is fast. He has a history of long runs where his top speeds are very fast. He is a powerful runner who can be quite fast when he is allowed room to accelerate. The fact that our defensive backs did not catch him does not mean they are slow necessarily. They could be slow, but this run is not evidence of that.

Joe Marino All-22 review - "The coaches were duds"
MJS replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
You don't have to change personnel to have more defenders in the box, though. -
Your appeal to authority doesn't really sway me. I don't know you or what you do. I trust the numbers put out by the experts, not a random guy on a message board. Henry was running very fast. It's a fact. His top speed was 21.3 MPH. Your calculations are obviously off because you had him slower than that. The narrative that all the DBs are really slow is not true. That was one of the fastest runs all year, and Henry has a history of fast runs when he is allowed to accelerate up to top speed. So, this thread is easily debunked by the actual numbers.
-
I think your calculations are off. He wasn't just running vertically. He was also running at an angle toward the sideline. And you don't reach top speed with "instantaneous velocity". All the fastest MPH runs in the NFL are the long ones, because it takes many seconds to get up to your top speed.
-
On the broadcast. It was somewhere around 21.5.
-
He ran pretty fast. They said he reached almost 22 mph. The fastest of the 2023 season was a DK Metcalf run that reached 22.23 mph. The problem is, he reached top speed while all the defenders had to turn and accelerate. So, the gap increased substantially before they could reach top speed. Once you take an improper angle, it is difficult to get back into the play.

Monday Night Games - Miami/Titans/Lions/Seahawks
MJS replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
This Dolphins game is up there with the least entertaining games I've ever seen. Both teams are just terrible. -
I warned all of you what would happen when we lost a game. And it's happening 🤣

I'd love for us to trade for Amari Cooper

Brandon McManus reinstated - Bass replacement?

If they bring him in and cut Bass, we'll be paying for two kickers this year and next. -
Baltimore did what they do please take a moment and understand this

The Bills weren't going to keep the run of never losing by more than one score going forever. Better it happened now at the beginning of the season so they can evaluate and move forward. -
RB Senorise Perry wore it in 2019.

KC got blown out by two teams last year, one of them the terrible Broncos. Good teams lose games. Good teams lose by multiple scores sometimes. The Bills have been a huge outlier with their close losses. -

I don't like it because those are still low percentage plays. And you can say Coleman should have made the catch, and maybe that is true, but the defender was still all over him. -

All our best defenders are on the sideline in hoodies and ball caps. It's finally catching up to us.
