Allen got knocked out of the Patriots game his second season with a concussion and was practicing by Wednesday a couple days later and he played the next game. Mahomes is in the concussion protocol. People can say whatever they want about the injury, but it is a fact that he is in the protocol. And it appears he is in stage 4. He will have to be cleared by an independent neurologist. And if he plays, that means he was cleared. And there are countless examples of players who played the next week after a concussion. If he practiced Wednesday he was in stage 4 already. If it's one per day that means he had to pass stage 1 on Sunday and be on stage 2 already by Monday. I'm not sure how it works, but that does seem plausible.

Someone should have told Saban how horrible our offensive line was when he was here. The line was much better before he got here and then quickly got better after he left, with some of the same guys on the line through it all. My biggest issue with him was not that he opted out and left (I was happy about that) but that the TWO things he was supposed to bring to this team, good oline coaching and good offense, were the two biggest weaknesses of the team. Plus he just seemed like an idiot.

Kansas City already talking Super Bowl parade before playing Bills
MJS replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Heck yeah! I'm certain the Bills players have seen this and are getting angry already. This will motivate them. They'll also see all the experts picking the Chiefs to win. The closer the game gets, the more confident I'm getting that the Bills will win. It's a strange, irrational feeling I'm not used to, but they are the team of destiny, after all. -
Has Daboll used LESS pre-snap and post-snap motion lately?
MJS replied to Richard Noggin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For sure he has used it less. It's also to create mismatches in coverage (getting a LB on a WR, for instance), cause deception, and to help playmakers gain speed before the snap. -
Black Monday is coming (UPDATE: is here!).....

Because Marrone isn't qualified to be a coordinator. And yet he somehow became an NFL head coach... -
Greatest Plays in Bills History
MJS replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's not my logic at all. I said we have to wait to see just how big of a play it was. Clearly it is already a big play. -
Ford is on his rookie deal. No reason to trade him.

Greatest Plays in Bills History
MJS replied to 1st Ammendment NoMas's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we have to see how the season ends to see just how impactful Johnson's play really was. If we go on to win the superbowl, it has to be up there with some of the most impactful plays in franchise history. I'm hoping this week we have another play or two that will go down in Bills history. -
I don't think I've ever used the term myself, and I don't really plan to. But I have no issue with it. Seems like the national media really love using the term.

The running game has to be there vs KC this week.
MJS replied to Toyo321's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
How many times have fans said this throughout the season? So far it hasn't been true. The Bills got to the AFC Championship game without a run game. They can win the superbowl without a run game. Eventually, yes. They will need to address it. But its not going to happen this year. The Bills are who they are by this point. -
Steelers analyst Arthur Moat's Loyalty in Question
MJS replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh, he still likes the Bills. He used to come on the John Murphy Show and later One Bills Live all the time. But I'm sure he likes the Steelers too. There's no reason he can't like both teams. -
PREDICT THE SCORE: 2020 AFC Championship Game - Bills at Chiefs
MJS replied to RiotAct's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My head: Chiefs - 28 Bills - 24 My heart: Bills - 32 Chiefs - 30 Assuming Mahomes plays... -
The more negative attention, the better. The Bills seem to take this stuff personally, especially the defense, and it helps keep them motivated. So I hope people come down hard on Allen and dismiss the defensive effort against the Ravens. The players will notice and come out extra motivated. Not that they need it. That kind of motivation should already be there. There is a large percentage of NFL fans and media who have been talking up the Chiefs all year and believe they cannot be beaten.

And he had a pick 6.

The Saints will be almost $100M over the salary cap next year!
MJS replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They'll get under the cap. They have to. The team may look pretty different though. -

You can keep restructuring, adding years, etc. But yeah, there is a limit to what you can do. -
Does anyone follow the bills mafia of Kazakhstan on Twitter?
MJS replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And why would they be mentioning the power of grizzly bears? Grizzlies are from North America. Not sure what kind of bear they have in Kazakhstan, but they aren't grizzlies. -

MJS replied to Doc's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why wouldn't they be able to? You have to release and restructure contracts. You might have a far worse team when it's all done, but you have to get under the cap. -
Report: Daboll will remain with Bills in 2021

I'm going to need a charity if any more charities pop up that I need to donate to.... -
I agree that Allen is awesome and a run game would help for sure, but we saw Brady compete at a high level without a decent run game for many years. They used short passes and screens as an extension of the run game. So either way. Get ridiculously good at dissecting zone and the short pass game, or get a good run game. But part of me wants Allen to struggle through it and figure it out because he always does. Then he will be unstoppable, and at THAT time we can invest in the run game.
-
Good listen and great points. It is really interesting to see how the Ravens dropped into coverage and didn't blitz much. That's the next level for Josh Allen. Knowing how to dissect zone coverage and take the checkdown when needed. Developing that quick pass game. He is already proficient, but he could be better. For some reason the offense has gotten away from pre-snap movement. I hope we get back to that in this next game. Maybe Daboll has been saving some stuff for KC.
-
Oh, I agree. There were plenty of bad moves to criticize.
-
Well that used to be what you could do with the Bills. Just criticize every move they make, because you knew eventually they would screw it up. But that mentality doesn't work anymore, so fans and media have exercise a little more critical thinking.
