Fadingpain: "It always used to be baseball, and whatever #2 was was a mile behind" the baby bombers are fun! Even have a 5'7 infielder; altuve is 5'6 and won Am league Nov last year. Very young group. They won 14-1 last night. Houston returns with even better pitching than that which won them the world series last fall and the yankees return even younger and more offensively potent than the offense that got them to game 7 of the alcs last fall. Then there's the red sox who are winning every game; bastards. football may be king but baseball is still great; for those that like that sort of thing.

The combine is worse by FAR but it's not highly rated so that's out. Same for WNBA someone listed - no hype there to begin with - shoot, they need more love. I vote television golf. The game is fine but how to just watch it for hours with the sleepy whisper commentators? Hell, I even love baseball too. PGA is on the Tele way too much imo. I don't get it. At least nascar has infighting, crashes and loud noises. . .not something I'm sitting hours staring at either though. Most under hyped for the quality of watching is tennis I think. Tons of action, fast paced and often many tense moments all through the match where the final outcome is affected. That game in the first set where your player lost on his service can haunt him hours later as he needs to maybe win a complete extra set over it. And, when McEnroe played there was drama and anger too. Ha. Replace some of the golf with tennis! Cripes - I've been far more engaged in curling on the tv than I ever have golf. :o)

As stated by others, the jets need to move up three spots - the Bills needed to move up 18 spots to get that. No comparison. Fact of it is that we all (most all) wanted playoffs in 17 even though we knew it was not even close to being our year. We got what we wanted and now have the hangover from it. Here, I think many here may be well advised to brush up on this ahead of thursday: Shock. ... Denial. ... Anger. ... Bargaining. ... Grieving. ... Acceptance.

If they do this then they had better not go and try for the danged playoffs again this year - unless they already have a top 5 first round pick for '19 in hand

Things like bad trips or binges are best helped with a strong aupport system and he sure seems to have that in his family.
-
Meh Meh. You never had a bad trip it sounds like. Can take days to get one's **** back together but not necessarily a permanent issue. I'll bet he will be fine if the Bills are OK with it and he can improve at catching footballs. Ha.

Nudity and LSD absolutely. See 60s culture. Plenty of grateful dead anecdotes on the matter. Europe 72 concerts in Germany being some.amusing ones - the German ushers were dosed and taking off their clothes even. Fired em all and then the next night the new crew had the same happen.
-
Nudity and hallucination implies maybe LSD. PCP is not really in fashion (if it ever was); not that LSD is today either. Mental health issues exposed by whatever it was for most certain. Hope he can move on from this in one way or another.

I hope they're pat at 12 and not throw it all away on a one shot gamble a la a drunk playing a roulette wheel. WR and offensive line need some real love as well.

Wait a minute, wait a minute - wait a minute! (Anyone remember the tiny tot of the KW guy? The press box hostesses hated him at then pilot field when I worked the suites one summer). Does this mean that yesterday's nonsense thread about a twitter prediction of huge news (deleted around 4:30 yesterday, perhaps due to me) was actually right??

Would I be a fool if I had Michigan state in the final 4? Cause I do; have them losing to Villanova.

Don’t shoot the messenger, I just got a tip for 4:00 today.

The opening post reads like a C graded community college creative writing story intro. Trying too hard. Fux sakes. -
Ross Tucker Says We're Likely Signing McCarron
sleeby replied to ndirish1978's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you sure? I thought they just sent him back to his minor league club's spring camp was all. He was only a guest at the MLB spring camp and never expected to make that team. Cut? -

She's hot but that's just way too much damned hair! He must be constantly pulling that out of his clothes and his car and his pillow and his drains. Then there's the waiting on her while she grooms it. Cripes. -
Just curious how far some here would go to get colt's #3. Would anyone give both 21,22 and both seconds for that spot? If yes what about 21,22, one second round plus shady for it?
-
The fins are going to parlay these picks plus more to move up and get a QB. Sorry to add fear to all the spend all the picks on a QB folks but looks like now we might actually need to spend it all. Stay pat at 21 and laugh at the fins three years from now. :o)

In your hindsight, 2017: go all out to win, or tank?
sleeby replied to boater's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sure I would. I did not say that losing was the only path to winning - it's one proven path and one we really have not explored in the past 15 years. -

We were talking about last year. We all see what you did there!
