  1. Every ball he hits down the fairway will just be caught by Gabe Davis.
  2. Cool. Is Kelce as physically beat down and missing games like Gronk as well?
  3. Davis Webb. And it would be a steal. IMO, the Giants all seem commited to giving Jones an honest shot and have admitted they have done "everything on the world to screw this kid up" according to Mara. The WORST thing the could do is import a legit threat to him...which Trubisky would be. Enter the Webb-man. Has played for Daboll, knows the system well. Is reportedly excellent in the film room. Has also had time with the NYG before. This is the biggest no brainer move to me.
  4. We've been trying, however he seems immune to our methods. We won't stop though. He has no shot.
  5. I find it hysterical that Big Ben's shining moment in retirement will be spent the way his career went. Being overshadowed by Brady.
  6. No. Old, slower and injury concerns.
  7. On the plus side...another possible Trubisky landing spot now.
  8. So might Nate Peterman. Doesn't mean any of them are correct.
  9. Will be all well and good until he agrees, assembles a staff and backs out.
  10. An outside the box thought. Perhaps Daboll isn't planning on calling the plays. While it's commonplace for a new HC to hold onto playcalling duties, some forgo it to concentrate on running game management. Also, Daboll may not want to call plays from the sideline. If memory serves correct he attempted that early in his Buffalo career before heading upstairs. Possibly, he believes that is optimal for the playcaller and may lead to him offering a guy he knows, respect and trusts (Dorsey) a shot a calling the plays.
  11. Who could have seen this coming? And from an organization as upstanding as the Chiefs?!?! Unbelievable...
  12. Depends on how much you think about the job you can do. Allen is already a top echelon QB. Dorsey can play it safe or choose to roll the dice if he believes he can help turn the Giants around. If he believes he can be a large part of helping Jones become a viable QB and the Giants being a much better offense the payout is much higher that if he just jumps into an already highly functioning offense with an already superstar QB. All risk vs reward.
  13. Kafka is a guy that I could possibly be sold on. Reid has been pretty high on him...even has blocked him from interviewing for positions in the past. Reid also often gives Kafka the credit for Mahomes's development and it sounds like he did for Mahomes almost what Dorsey did with Allen. https://www.google.com/amp/s/heavy.com/sports/philadelphia-eagles/mike-kafka-rumors/amp/ "Reid has often credited Kafka for helping develop Patrick Mahomes, referring to his work with the MVP quarterback in the film room. He’s clearly a valued assistant. “We’ve all got things [Mahomes] can work on,” said Reid at training camp, via Arrowhead Pride. “We have a list of things and Mike (Kafka) takes him through it and goes down and they study it and make sure he takes steps forward. He has a bunch of things he can work on.”
  14. Martindale was the rumor for Daboll's DC. Let's see how that pans out...but I think that would be a good pairing. I also think that IF Flores doesn't walk away with a HC job he could be in play as DC as well. NYG reportedly did like him and they both have those NE ties.
  15. .....then this wasn't their year. Will be fun to see how they improve to make next year their year, though.
  16. The MVP this year may turn into a Tom Brady retirement gift IMO. Kinda his own "gold watch".
  17. I do. Would be nice if MVP voters did the same for Josh as well😂
  18. Therein lies the problem. Even avoiding threads that are (by title) not something of interest you will have to scroll through 4 or 5 pages to find something of interest. Not only do we have about 200 threads of the same 3 topics that all say the exact same thing, any topic that isn't about those 3 or 4 topics still gets overwhelmed by negativity and decomposes into being about the same topics as all the other posts. Look, I get the need to vent. I get the idea that people have different thoughts and opinions. I absolutely get being upset after that loss. The trouble comes IMO, when you have a seemingly high number of people posting that have very little knowledge or understanding of what they are seeing or why (especially when it comes to penalties) that post with conviction of what they say is the only plausable correct line of thinking.
  19. I would rather the Bills set up a series of 1-900 numbers and let fans vote on the next play call. Shurmer????
