If you make moves just to prevent another team from signing a guy you are running your organization poorly. Should we also call and overpay the Jets for Mecole Hardman? A 2nd could accomplish it. As far as should they have interest...IMO no.

No. Bill is wanting that record. He's not taking a year off from trying to win. That said, I think he sees the writing on the wall and that it's all coming to a close for him. Having to face life without TB12 has taken its toll and exposed him as a GM AND as a HC. Unless there is a major turn around in the back half of the season, I fully expect this to be his last year. And I don't believe they have the talent to turn it around.

TV Broadcast Maps and Schedule - NFL Week 6 2023 (October 15)
BuffaloBillyG replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
This whole slate of games this week looks like a major *woof* week. Thankful for RedZone channel. At least I can keep up on my fantasy players and not have to get in invested in any of these games. -
Are we pretending that pompous arse Sean Payton doesn't exist?😂😂 Narrative. It can change weekly. Right now because he's playing out of his mind them trading for CMC is a genius move and everyone should have done it. 3 weeks from now if he's hurt again it will be "oh yeah, forgot he's made of styrofoam." Very rarely do the teams that throttle everyone early in the year end up winning it all. They are playing well right now but it's a long season and the NFC is a lot tougher than most give it credit for. Let's see who is still healthy come December/January.

Andre Reed HoF Ring Stolen in London
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, that dude is an idiot... However as a side note I remember when the Bills used to come play local teachers in Basketball in the off season. Those were some really awesome times. My mom used to take me whenever they came close. I still remember seeing Don Beebe full sprint up the court and dunk one. Yes, little Beebe. Guy was an insane athlete. -
Week 6, NJ Giants v. Bills - Predict the Score
BuffaloBillyG replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was worried we were too beat up for a big win. Then I saw the Giants injury report. They's beat up AND bad. Will be a nice relaxing Sunday night for Bills fans. Buffalo- 38 Giants- 16 -
Jesus, even our former players got screwed in London. This is a shame.

Our next opponent….The NY Football Giants

Daboll misses Josh. -
See, now I think that's the first step to getting rid of Bill all together. We all know how petty Belichick can be. It's actually one of his only redeeming traits IMO. The second Kraft strips away GM duties Bill would resign. He's had full power for far far too long to share it at this stage of his career. He's not taking what would equate to a demotion and sticking around.

I like that in the next 2 weeks we play the Giants and Patriots. It's an outstanding chance for guys like Williams and Elam to build some confidence. It will give McDermott an opportunity to tweak the defense to the new players in the lineup. Gives Von and Poona a chance to get back in the flow of the game. Elam against Kirk/Ridley and Williams missing tackles on ETN in their first extended action of the season was a tough task. -
NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available
BuffaloBillyG replied to ngbills's topic in The Stadium Wall
He does, but it's fair to wonder if it's him not being open or Dallas spreading the ball that's the cause. I don't watch Cowboys All 22 so I can't answer. -

BuffaloBillyG replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not always, but typically teams that have to rely on trickery have to do so because of severe talent difference between them and an opponent. Catch a team off guard and get a cheap score here and there. Honestly with all the new moving parts on the defense it would be a really good idea. Banking that one of our 2 young LBers over pursue a play or if they can get an extra step or 2 on our Safeties with their lack of make up speed....it could make a difference. Not enough to win....but at least it will be fun. -

This weekend the Giants team features several former Buffalo Bills. I believe there's a good chance it will feature a future Buffalo Bill or two. We all know the relationship that exists between Beane and Schoen. I have no doubt that the two will be having a lot of discussion this week. With the way the Giants season is going they could be sellers real real soon. I'll be watching the Giants to see who flashes and may catch Beane's eye. -
And we play the Giants this week. Now anything can happen but their line has been historically bad this year.

NFL Trade Deadline Oct 31 - Rumored List of Players Available

This may be a fun one to watch. Lamb is due a contract and Jones is saying he shouldn't see four targets a game. Interesting. Maybe they move him? -

Miami dealt a blow! - Achane out multiple weeks!
BuffaloBillyG replied to BillsDiehard's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have to admit, I like watching the kid. Hope he heals and continues making big plays. However, I really can't feel bad for the Dolphins. At least he is scheduled to come back. -
A concussed Dalton Kincaid took it in retaliation of Diggs swiping his chance at his first career TD catch a couple weeks ago

[Question] Former Bills who have found success in McD Era?
BuffaloBillyG replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well, a few that are from the early McD days carved out long NFL careers to differing success. Bobby Trees Ronald Darby Sammy Watkins Feliciano started last year for the Giants and has seen action for SF this year. Heck you could throw a lot of guys on the Giants Daboll brought with him if "still in the league" is a qualifier. Matt Breida. Hodgins ect. -
Who will be the first coach fired?
BuffaloBillyG replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think we are going to see any coaches fired anytime soon. The 2 that I would say are most likely are Rivera and Eberflus. Chicago has never fired a HC in season. And if he goes they are already down their DC and have literally no one to take over. The Commanders new owner has already put out he wants to see how the season plays out before evaluation. He's not new to owning sports teams and is noted for being patient. Even in Vegas, Mark Davis was seen on video at a game ridiculing fans that were yelling at him to fire McDaniels. And I don't see any way Belichick gets fired in season. Or at all, really. He'll likely "resign" at some point this or next off season. Maybe week 16 or 17 we see a change. But there doesn't seem to be much smoke this season to me. -
Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
This may be the biggest oddity to me in the whole season. The rate of season ending injury around the league seems to be skyrocketing. The amount of top level injuries seems really high as well. And yet somehow all the sudden CMC seems to be made of iron and impervious to even a bruise. Make it make sense.🤷🏼♂️ -
Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh I'm familiar with it. He does an excellent job, however he's not 100% accurate...and he acknowledges that himself. As any doctor will tell you (and he says as well) it's impossible to properly diagnose through the TV. I would say he's likely correct...but with all the unknowns there is a chance he could be off as well. -
Milano/Jones BOTH require surgery; Per McDermott
BuffaloBillyG replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Has Milano had surgery? If not and the knee is intact there may be an opportunity for him to be back late in the playoffs... depending on which bone/bones were broken. And of course if we make it there.
