  1. I assume he/she means by every 10 numbers in chronological order, 0-9. 10-19, 20-29 etc
  2. I dont think the NFL has improved, not from a spectators point of view, from a players, yes. From a spectators point of view imo it has gotten worse. Players cant hit as they used to and QBs, especially marquis names like Brady, have been grossly overprotected. And the NFL and its absurd rules about what a "catch" is. A catch is like porn, you know it when you see it, it is difficult, i would say impossible for the NFL to try and "legislate" every single aspect of what a catch is esp when you have multiple camera angles in frame by frame analysis if you want. I appreciate the safety aspect of the game but with all the legal ramifications, i fear the NFL is going to slowly morph into "non-violent" pro bowl like game. As far as player "shelf life" when was the last time we ha dueling QBs in the 40s matched up against each other. Qbs can last a very long time with the current rules. Jack Kemp took more brutal hits in one year than Brady has taken his entire pro career.
  3. i could say one word...coaching.
  4. As a FUTURIST you sure have dreadful predictions. The Dolphins won both of their game you predicted they would get blown out. The Dolphins are a six win team are they? i guess that means they will lose every remaining game including the Broncos, Jets and, and Bengals. Tua must be real real lucky as you claimed he would be lucky to win any of his next four games and he won 2 already. As i wrote at the end of Oct our last game versus the Dolphins might determine the winner of the AFC east.
  5. What is really stunning about Carroll is his total lack of in game awareness, whey so long to make any defensive adjustments...i would "blame" him for the loss if I were a Seahwak fan.
  6. Tight jerseys have been in for decades, a lot easier to get a hold of a loose jersey than the tight ones they wear.
  7. As we all know, not all concussions are equal. I dont recall any details on this one, as far as we know this "concussion" may have been little more than a hard hit which given his medical history might be prudent and enough to put him into concussion protocol.
  8. It is always great timing to bring this up after J Allen has a near record setting day against arguably the worst pass defense in the NFL. Lets not be over emotional over one game, lets at least wait till the end of the year, he has another year left on his rookie contract than when we can start to worry.
  9. Wow. I am impressed. Doesnt happen here very often. Great reference. One of my favorite movies and favorites scenes of all time.
  10. I think that ESPN has jumped the shark years ago. It actually used to be about sports. I half stopped watching the "year of Kapernick" when half of the shows had people yelling at each other why Kapernick isnt playing and then the shows morphed into a contest for people to demonstrate the most outrage that Kapernick isnt playing anymore. Then i fully stopped watching after a month long 90% of ESPN dedicated to Kobe Bryant worship after his tragic death.
  11. Yeah i forgot that and it makes sense. I have been dead wrong on Ford, i guess i bought into the hype from the Bills about how they were praying he would drop to them blah blah blah. Anyway i gave him one year and thought well tackle didnt work out, guard will be his bail out, well that certainly failed.
  12. Really pathetic to see Wyatt Teller there as the second best right guard. With as horrific as our guard play has been this year, can someone remind me who we let why we let Teller go?
  13. i want to hear a matt hasselbeck good guy story.
  14. I saw the last 5 minutes and made me sick to see the Pats win, as they historicaly had and i could tell sure as hell the players certainly wanted that win bad. They players that really really sucked at the end was the numbskull Joe Flacco. He takes a sack and two in completions allowing the PAts to kick a FG with three seconds left. And Gregg Williams defensive play calling feel right into Josh McDaniels trap.
  15. Probably correct although if Lawrence wins another national championship I think he would be crazy to wait out another year, way too much risk and as dysfunctional as the Jets are, they might be pick #1 again. Being a rock star QB in NYC does have some incredible benefits and certainly media risk. Well there goes that conspiracy theory.
  16. Not sure which is worse, the Jets or the Cowboys with a potential once in a generation QB.
  17. As i wrote if you want to term it that way it is up to you, are you done beating this dead horse?
  18. If you want to term it he "bail(ed) us out" when he makes and NFL level play that is up to you. This to me is a new era in Bills football with competent coaching and GM, i fully anticipate players going forward will continue to "bail us out".
  19. I was as well. I would put the blame on the Seahwaks horrible showing on him, they didnt think to many and adjustments until later in the game, after Allen was torching them? This is one of the few cases where i have a high degree of confidence to put the blame on the head coach.
  20. I never did like Pete Carroll but I sure lost a of of respect for him as a football coach. He is inability to make timely game time adjustments was stunning. And when he said he didnt recognize his defense, that is like a Rex Ryan dumbass admission.
  21. Yep, i would love to see Belichek embarrassed on national TV. I am also fearful both Josh Fields and Lawrence could be special, I dont want the Jets to get either one.
  22. Exactly!! When the Pats do it, it is because Belichek is a genius blah, blah blah but when the Bills do it we got "bailed out". Was it Belichek's "genius" that McKelvin decided to return the kickoff of Losman decided to run out of the end zone?
  23. Zimmer didnt "bail us out", in other words we got lucky. No, it was a heads up play by Zimmer, that is what well coached teams do and no the Pats were not guaranteed to score a TD there or score at all, time was running low. The Pats had a novel twist with Cam to start the year, started real hot. Cam got Covid and other teams have learned how to attack him, the novelty wore off quickly.
  24. No he is delusional. Games going "either way" in games is not going to cut it for the Patriots, they have to win. Right now the Dolphins are a superior team with or without Fitz playing. Tua appears to be the real deal and is gaining confidence and comfort ion the team, likely only going to get better. I think the more relevant threat is for the Dolphins to beat the Bills for the AFC East crown.
  25. BTW, who the hell is Thad Brown and should i even care what he thinks?
