I anticipated planning something for our bye week over the summer and settled on flying to Fresno with my wife in order to go visit my nephew, who is a Senior Chief Petty Officer at NAS Lemoore. We'll be drinking whiskey, grilling steaks, and playing some beer pong. While in Fresno, instead of going to see the sequoias (did that last time we were there), we'll visit the Forestiere Underground Gardens, which is supposed to be very cool.

I feel like after today's games, some of our wounded warriors could rest up during the bye AND not see the field against Green Bay. That team is a shell of its former self.

We don't have to shut down Mahomes, per se. We need to shut down Kelse. With no Hill, Kelse has been even more of a go-to guy for PM. We must double team him if possible, especially in the red zone. It wouldn't hurt to gang tackle him, too. Let him feel the pain.

My wife and I always eat some food related to the team we're playing. For the Baltimore game, it was crab cakes. Against Miami, it was grilled tuna. Yesterday, it was steelhead trout. For the next game, it will be KC style ribs.

My favorite is always Belichick. "We just didn't make enough plays.......they made plays but we didn't.........we just need to make more plays."

In your opinion. I would agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong. My point was no matter how physical Tennessee is known to be, it had nothing to do with some of our injuries from that game.

If you look closely, some of the injuries had nothing to do with the Titans. Hyde's injury was from a routine tackle. I'm thinking any neck issues he has may have been there before the game. Phillips pulled his hamstring by running; sort of self-inflicted. Jackson's injury was from Edmund's tackle; friendly fire. I didn't catch how Poyer, Knox, and Morse got hurt but it happens. Next man up! I don't expect any sympathy from the Dolphins but you can find 'sympathy' in the dictionary somewhere in between 's**t' and 'syphilis'. Squish The Fish!
