  1. Fixing the O is simple, Stay out of Allen's head! Tell him to ignore the no running crap and play his game. O is fixed!
  2. The O problem is a simple fix. Tell Josh to play his way and to ignore the no running crap.
  3. Beane is only going to be a buyer at the right price. But if we want a serious sb run, We need a DT to replace Jones, a LB to replace Milano, #2 WR, a CB, and get Henry for the fun of it! Maybe one of those things happens. DT is the biggest issue in my opinion.
  4. Maybe if the coaches didn't neuter him! FREE JOSH!
  5. I'd go 50/50 right now. Doresy needs to be better. Execution must get better! The biggest problem on the O is between Allen's ears. But that is the coach's fault for trying to force him to be a strictly pocket passer!
  6. It is the most frustrating thing in his play design. Why would this be beneficial in any way! Like the few times a ball is tipped?! It only helps the D.
  7. That may be valid. So, Dorsey and the O need to say F-that and play hard, inspired football anyway. Yes! We need help on D because of the injuries. Needs are DT, LB, CB in that order.
  8. Like looking unstoppable at the start of last year. To looking bad at times afterwards (although Allen's injury had caused most of this). This year it went Bad, not in rhythm, Hot and on point, To Aweful, unfocused, no rhythm. I think alot of it is the push to make Allen a pocket passer. To much getting in his head from coaches. Also we need a #2. And open up Kincaids routes! I'd like to see more of Shakir and Sherrfield than Gabe at this point. Not all of course. But he does dictate the ebbs and flows of the O. Starting out with a pick when he didn't even see the defender does not help. But Knox would have probably dropped it anyway had it got there.
  9. French was saying not punting doesn't mean the offense was good. And was agreeing with your point that just like the 49ers let a bad team hang around by not being productive early.
  10. I'd be down. Then we will need to poach a backup CB from some teams PS or the street. If I could pick any WR to get, it would be Evans.
  11. They need to take the handcuffs off Josh. Don't call QB running plays, and not too many options plays. But don't tell him not to run when he needs to make a play. His best runs are when the play breaks down and he spies an opening. Don't worry about him sliding or getting out of bounds. When his running he is expecting the hits. Let him do him. He is getting hurt in the pocket! He should be given 2 or 3 options to call at the line after seeing the D line up. Put it on his shoulders, it's the way the offense runs best. Now it won't work everytime. But we will see less of the stalled lifeless drives that we have the past 3 games. The D injuries hurt us a lot. Jones being the worst one. We need a second DT now. But if the O get's in sync faster, we score enough to allow the D to be aggressive and can live with some mistakes there.
  12. I'm not looking into numbers that much. They probably prove your point as far as scores. But in the end 3-4 games are all that will matter. Play well enough to be in the best position going into the playoffs. Then just win out. It's harder to be that repeat team in the free agency area (unless you cheat, aka 2000 pats). There is much more parity than in the past. Not like there is going to be an OC change this season for the Bills. So far, we can't get past the CF to go to the dance. If that doesn't happen this year, and play calling is mediocre during the rest of the season, new OC should happen. This Allen era team is setting up to be talked about like the 90's team. Good team, very good O, but couldn't close the deal. But not one of the best. W-L record we look that way. But the Kelly era O was more effective and efficient. It also was something the league had not seen much of. Some of our WR route concepts now, do make me pause. We see far too many times where WR end up close to each other. Not sure if they are trying to setup the rub plays. Or think there is some advantage there that I can't fathom. And why we are so bad at executing screens, I can't understand. They better figure out quickly how to get Kincaid deeper. Otherwise, he was a wasted pick, and we should have picked or traded for a true #2 WR. So, let's hope continued adjustments happen, consistency sets in, and we get hot at the right time.
  13. I get it and yes, the Bills are inconsistent. But who's more consistent (beside the 2000 era Pats). KC is showing flaws. Everyone knows Miami will struggle. Bengals were 0-3. Eagles and SF look the most consistent in the league the past 2 years. And they (barring injury, etc) will get the playoffs. But SF took abit last year to look that good. And then they got good play out of a low draft pick. I don't see that any different this year for the Bills. Allen is adjusting to not taking off or playing hero ball. It takes time to find that consistency and rhythm. I wish we had gotten a proven OC or at least brought in an asst HC on O to help Dorsey. But its not like the losses were Dorsey's fault. Lack of execution gave us our 2 losses.
  14. If it was easy there be 16 undefeated teams and 16 winless teams.
  15. The Oline is better. We are taking the same amount of sacks, because they have Allen not bailing on the pocket. Now, they are not great. I'd say they are lower end good. With the biggest issue being RT. Yes, they are not "in the groove" with the O currently. They lack rhythm, which causes the inconsistency. We peaked way to early last year, I'm good with ramping up into the playoffs and peaking on the game in February!
  16. Ok. And that's what you sometimes need your franchise QB to do. That is a team execution problem. When guys fumble, drop the ball, run the wrong route, or just are not in sync; your superstars need to carry them. That's not a play calling issue. I don't think Doresy is great. I think he tries to adjust. But overall he attempts to adjust more than Dabol ever did. He can make some silly play calls. like shotgun on 4 and < 1. The team just has not found a good rhythm yet.
  17. If they don't have a spy or LB's are back, then fine. But the designed runs when they are looking for it suck.
  18. Don't you remember him tossing it last year, when we lost. They are not willing to give him another! Keep him healthy. Let him perfect the play action pass. And taking what the D gives. The only time I want him running now is goal line or when a play breaks down. Hate the designed runs on the wrong side of the field. When we make it to the playoffs. Then he has free reign.
  19. You were a bit melodramatic with your no longer a SB team. We peaked to early last year, and we were looking that way again this year. So now we get to get straight in time for the playoffs. We will be firing on all cylinders by then. We can beat any team if our offense executes. And Dorsey adjusts when the run is being stuffed. So, I don't see D injuries as the windows closing. Now if (god does hate us) and Allen misses significant time. Then I'll be right there with you! I agree with your view on Klien. Let the rookies learn, let him teach. Bring him in on run downs.
  20. mrags, bob jones, and newcam have to be the same person. The spout the same BS and upboot each others posts. Can they start a forum where they just go whine and B word to themselves all day long?!
  21. Collinsworth is like fingernails on a chalk board. I don't know how he can talk so much with Maholmes jock in his mouth!
  22. I don't think Josh was miced. But I kept hearing, "You will take your punishment like a man, son!"
