  1. Yes, I watched, Ty started. Then Davis came in. Hence, he wasn't the starter, like I said. And right now, he is better as the 2nd guy in. Keeps him hungry. And you play your punishing back as the game goes on, because you pound a tired defense. Ray may be a starter soon rather than later. But right now, its Cook when he is healthy and Ray and Ty sharing the relief. Cook is a home run threat, although we do him a disservice but not getting him out in space enough. Ray looks like he can be as well. Good problem to have!
  2. Ty started the game against the Jet's. Davis came in 2nd. It's working, I don't mess with it at this point.
  3. I disagree, Cook is more the home run hitter. And I think coming in 2nd fuels Davis to run harder. I keep things like they are until it stops looking like its working.
  4. The gashing is schema driven. We are giving up the runs to play prevent. Oliver out does not help at all. And play calling was timid to start the Ravens game. We didn't pressure at all. And got smacked in the mouth.
  5. Why are we still listening to this old fool!
  6. Might have been a Freudian slip!
  7. What we probably see is them bring in a couple kickers, but ultimately stinking with Bass. I wish they would at least put a kicker on the PS. Maybe having that threat there, will snap Bass out of his funk. He should also be seeing a sports therapist. Maybe his teammates need to help him get laid!
  8. They don't have to be vocal with the press or anything to be a leader. Some leaders are quiet and just lead by example. And he might be a guy that guys can follow in the locker room. Shakir is probably a good leader with the group. Cooper will be a good role model for Coleman. Let's hope it's the missing piece for this offense to take the next step. Digg's wasn't a leader. He's theatrics and standing after the game lamenting were for him. He was a liked guy. But I doubt he was ever felt to be a leader.
  9. Agreed. But there is some luck involved. Just like his high int rate to start last year. Some of it was bad luck. Most if it was just slinging the ball. Something that has been happening less since Brady started calling plays. It's great when it works, but we don't get those perfect passing games (playoffs vs Chiefs and Pats) with Allen not slinging it.
  10. By his own admission, he has thrown int's. But the DB's are not WR's for a reason.
  11. Guys are open. Allen felt pressure, even when it wasn’t there. Also was concussed. We need short quick 1,2 read passes. Stop trying to go deep. Kill them with run and short pass. That will open up longer shots.
  12. To be fair, it's one TD, One missed EP, 1 fg out of 5.
  13. Magic 8 ball says, "unlikely"
  14. If we won a SB with Allen. Then we would be spoiled by getting mad if we look bad at times. Until then we are just frustrated!
  15. In fairness we have tried the WR screens with him. He just didn’t have the blocking in front of him like WA had. And he doesn’t have that same burst right now.
  16. The time to get Adams, Evans, Metcalf was two years ago. Bills should not be using draft capital on guys this old. Unless its 5th round or lower. Kupp is injury prone at this point. Get a younger proven #1 at this point if your trading capital: Aiyuk, Cee Dee, Amon-Ra, Puka, Jefferson, all worth a 2nd, But those teams are not selling. Draft a #1 next year. Only bring in equal talent if the need arises due to injury.
  17. In this order: White * Davidson Gore Cain Hardy Hamler Jackson Jonathan Shavers Ankuo Shorter Cline other teams cuts.
  18. I am entitled to my opinion. It's more what they don't say. Reading between the lines. They certain don't seem to care that he left. There was a reason the Vikings shipped him out, even though he was a #1 receiver. It was because they knew they would get Jefferson. The leaving after showing up for the offseason stuff. Not talking to coach about it. The refusal to talk to media. It all just seems selfish to me. We will be a better team w/o him.
  19. Well seasons done if JA17 goes down. I keep hearing this anyway!
  20. I judge by what I see and what is said by players. Even saying he was a great WR. You can tell they won't throw him under the bus, but attitude was a problem.
  21. Technically true, and f*ck Diggs. His attitude sucked after year 1.
  22. The thing I noticed this year with him, he is throwing ducks into spots that are going to get a receiver knocked out. One throw, Coleman saw the safety T-ed up and he wisely let the ball go inc. Had he tried hard for that ball, He's taking a huge hit. Terrible anytime, borderline unforgivable in preseason. I hope Mitch only gets mop up duty or shakes off whatever the Steelers did to him.
  23. yup. He almost got Coleman killed on a limp throw!
