I don't even think you can go there with Bill and Phil.
Jackson had Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Kobe, Shaq... All Hall of Fame.
Belicheck had Brady and..................?
As much as I hate him Bill is the superior of the two......IMO of course.
Difference.
When you look like McVay and have a girl like that, you got "game".
When you look like Wade Phillips and have a girl like that, you got "$$$$" .
It seems to me IMHO that Josh made his biggest strides during his down time after the Texans game under the tutelage of DA. It was evident upon his return he looked more confident and decisive.
If it ain't broke.....
Well said. If it was an equal partnership financially than that may be grounds for some compromise. But if I'm the sole breadwinner and responsible for my family's well being. Guess what, we're moving to Buffalo.
You want the Bucs to pay us for taking a 6x Pro Bowler and All-pro? I understand he's making 13 mil but some team will gladly take that on and offer a pick for a player of his caliber. The Browns are supposedly going to make a push for him and I'm sure others will be lined up.
On the fence with my feelings on this.
McCoy was a beast 5-6 years ago and has lately shown a drop in production that does not justify his salary. Only McBeane can determine whether a one year rental at 13 mil and the cost of a draft pick is worth it. Could be one of those "change of scenery" might do him good. Very deep draft for DTs though. For a team on the cusp, maybe.
I too did not hate Tyrod but that comment got to me mainly because I watched the playoff game against Jax last year and thought we would have won if we had a QB other than Taylor.
No, I don't think he's a cheater.
Well, not until he met Darth Bill and crossed over to the dark side.
When you acquire an underrated talent and pair him with one of the NFLs all time great strategists and employ a work ethic second to none and combine that with certain methods (ethical or not) the result is 20 years of unequalled excellence.
God I hate those mutherflockers!!!
I love Josh J as a prospect but I would literally lose my $#/t if he was chosen #9 overall.
Now if we trade down I can see it mid 2nd, but 9th overall? No way! I think they’ll get someone in the later rounds or FA and see what Shady can do with a revamped OL.
Thanks for the clarification Yolo.
But just like mocks, big boards are opinions and educated guesses. So in your opinion do you think M. Brown is the 9th best prospect?
There are no experts when it comes to mock drafts, just educated guesses. Many "so called" experts whiff on their mocks every year. Passing on a Top DT or LT @9 for a 5'8" 165 pound WR will have many of us puking in our mouths.
I was PFT today and I actually read a Patriots fan write, and I quote, " I don't want to see the Rams win after the Saints game. It would just be a tainted championship". The irony was just dripping off that comment. The ballz on these guys is astonishing!
