Expectations for Josh Allen this year
billsbackto81 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4200 yards passing/ 38 TDs, 18 INTs/ 650 yards rushing C'mon Hap, are you going to tell me that stat line wouldn't be considered awesome by any fan base with a 2nd year QB not named Mahomes? Pretty sure you know I meant I'd rather see pedestrian numbers if it equates to winning and playoff football. I guess there's always the possibility he goes 5000/45-8/ 800 rushing at a 72% clip but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. -
Expectations for Josh Allen this year
billsbackto81 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
4200 yards passing/ 38 TDs, 18 INTs/ 650 yards rushing/ 58% completion rate 7-9= No playoffs OR 3700 yards passing/ 27 TDs, 10 INTs/ 400 yards rushing/ 66% completion rate 10-6= Playoff berth Both scenarios are more than feasible and grant it the Defense will have to do their part, but which would you rather see? Awesome stat line or Competent winning football. -
Flacco is not interested in mentoring Drew Lock

Lol ? I wonder how many here will catch that reference? -
does any team still use DE who mainly set edge?
billsbackto81 replied to Orlando Buffalo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like Shaq and if he wasn't overdrafted we most likely would not be feeding this thread as much. He's not a 10 mil a year player but he's more than adequate in a rotational system and plays solid contain. Though they're different positions Id take him over Preston Brown all day. -
Trade Lawson and a 2020 draft pick for Clowney?
billsbackto81 replied to tomur67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its a tough one. The Bills are at least IMO a 8-9 win team which puts them in the late teens and upper 20's draft wise. So the real question I guess should be would you give up the 18th-20th pick next year and Lawson this year for Clowney this year.? Clowneys not my first choice but we need a pass rusher and I have to admit that him and Hughes on the edges with Star and Oliver in the middle is very appealing. -
Doubt he gets released. They cut Malik Jackson and restructured Dareus so they can keep Campbell. But, he would look great in a Bills jersey.

Beane: Gore will push McCoy to be the starter
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even though I feel Gore would've faired better behind that line because of his within the tackle running style, he still would've had a tough go of it. I think both him and Shady will thrive with the new and improved O line. -
Buffalo Bills TE Tommy Sweeney is a 70's throwback
billsbackto81 replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think we're looking at Kroft, Croom and a battle between Sweeney and Dawson for the roster spot. Loser goes to the PS. I can see Fisher getting cut. -
I missed the part in my post where I claimed to be holier than thou. Please enlighten me. Was it the NFL/ 5th chance part? What part of that sentence isn't true? Did I strike a nerve? If so, my apologies. I did wish he gets his life in order and not once did I state loser, headcase, degenerate or any of the sort. And though you don't know me it goes without saying, Ive got plenty of sin.

Bills sign TE Jake Fisher to 1-year deal
billsbackto81 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One would assume he'll be a primary blocking TE and a safety valve on slow developing plays. He looks terribly slow in that Youtube vid. -
2019 Bills Passing Game - What do you expect?
billsbackto81 replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we are winning games then this would be ideal. A 4000 yard season would be impressive but to me it would also indicate the run game is sound and effective and the defense is doing their job. -
Devin Singletary excited to feel wanted by Bills.
billsbackto81 replied to PIZ's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'll give it 2-3 years before I make such judgment. You may be right, but it's way too early. My only concern is his lack of break away speed but his elusiveness is something special. -
The Competition for WR6 on the Bills Roster
billsbackto81 replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't think Roberts is going anywhere. His primary purpose is to be a return specialist. Don't be surprised if they acquire someone better than Zay, Duke and McKenzie when teams start thinning out their rosters for cap relief. -
RD 1, Pick 9: DT Ed Oliver, University of Houston
billsbackto81 replied to SDS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After watching his highlights one thing is certain. If the refs call holding like they should he's gonna make blockers draw a lot of laundry. He's being held so often fro the Zero tech position its comical. There is no way the refs can ignore him and Hughes, can they? The guy is all out effort and explosiveness on every down. -
Shaq Lawson Option decision week. What do you do?
billsbackto81 replied to Seoulful Soul's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
No way do they pick up his option at that price. They can probably get Ziggy for that amount. -

JEEZ! Not this again........... Can't we at least take solace in knowing that we've exceeded these so called expectations and predictions 2 years in a row now. I don't expect the trend to stop this year either..........10-6
