If Daboll and/or Frazier leave, who do you want to replace them?
billsbackto81 replied to Buddo's topic in The Stadium Wall
It may sound that way to you Gunner, but what do your eyes tell you? Honestly, when you watch the games do they strike you as a Top defense? Especially when playing a playoff caliber opponent. I saw them not sack Tannehill once, and he was the most sacked QB at the time. I saw them make Carson Wentz look amazing. QB Pressure IMO is one of the most over rated stats. Personally I'd rather see Sacks. Sacks cause turnovers, lose yardage, creates longer down and distance, cause the QB discomfort and hesitation. And overall just pumps up the defense. -

I have no objection to keeping a lot of the zone coverage schemes this team employs. My wish is they address the the woeful D front that just can't control the LOS and get overpowered all the time. And yes I know we've drafted Oliver, Rousseau, Basham, Epenesa along with a slew of FA failures. It's just not working. -

I would think OC would be offered to Dorsey. He's been involved in this system a few years now and has familiarity with staff. DC? I would think McD would liken someone who shares the same philosophy and zone concepts he does, and I hate the idea. I want someone who brings a more aggressive and attacking style of Defense. This is a franchise that hired Marv Levy 2X😂😂 -
Missing Out on Top Seed Was a Blessing in Disguise

I'm kinda mixed on this one. Although I can see your point about Josh not playing as well in inclement weather it's the D that concerns me. They've proven all season stopping the run is problematic. In bad weather it only gets worse as it favors the more proficient running team (Indy,NE). Is it a coincidence Devon and Josh ran all over Atl yesterday in the snow? So to me weather is a factor, but not because of Josh's play. It's our D's inability to consistently stop the run which puts more emphasis on Josh to perform. -

Your brain may hurt but I'm sure your ears feel a lot better once Sanchez and Kugler got off the air. -
Week 18: Jets at Bills - a W wins the AFC East!

I wouldn't touch that spread. The Pats and Fins play at 1:00. If the Fins somehow win and beat NE the division is wrapped up before the Bills take the field. Heck they might start Mitch and the bench and rest the starters. -
Shades of Takeo Spikes back in the day. Bills fans gave him a warm welcome when Cincy came to town, he was a Bill the following season.

Nobody bashed Levi more than me and he's made me to an extent eat my words. The guy has proven to be a very capable #2 CB especially holding his own since Tre went down. Definitely a re-sign with a nice bonus coming his way. Harry should be retained as well though I don't consider him a starter and more quality depth. But, I said the same about Levi at the start of the season so what do I know?

Yeah you're right. Who needs a bye and home field throughout. But you're right, were in. Now go make some noise in the playoffs.
