Wonderful sign… 🤦🏻♂️
-
still want some kind of update on this “2nd opinion”. Is it short term? Long term / IR?? Know he is “out” but was hoping to have some more clarity today
-
Nice to hear day to day but I will assume Jordan Phillips is out next week at minimum. It’s officially a hamstring and I can’t remember the last time one of our guys had a hammy and ended up playing the very next week (correct me if I’m wrong). I think part of it is this Bills team has never rushed players back from hamstring injuries, which is smart.

9/19/22 Gameday Titans at Bills Week 2 Pregame Thread MNF!
ShakAttack replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, if these guys being out increases the likelihood of their availability next week against Miami, then I'd rather them sit out anyway. We are going to need Oliver and Settle against the Dolphins because if our DL is not winning at the LOS, that means you're giving Miami the opportunity to play to their strength on offense, in getting the ball to Waddle and Hill. -
Singletary or Tony Pollard? Week 1 (PPR League)
ShakAttack replied to ShakAttack's topic in Fantasy Football
12-team league. I intentionally neglected RBs early on, banking on snagging a random RB off free agency at some point early in the season that will become a regular starter for me, and instead loading up on my other positions, because that is how the league was won last year. So - following the advice to start Pollard over Singletary - this is what my starting roster looks like at the moment: QB: Allen WR1: Kupp WR2: Deebo RB1: Antonio Gibson RB2: Tony Pollard TE: Dawson Knox FLEX: Bob Woods K: Greg Joseph DEF: Indy D Player: Roquan Smith BENCH QB: Dak WR: Mecole Hardman, Lil Dirty RB: Devin Singletary, Breece Hall, Isiah Pacheco TE: Gerald Everett DEF: Dallas Mind you, my fantasy teams are NEVER this Bills heavy, but this is just where the chips fell in this particular draft.. haha BUT... As you can see, RB is CLEARLY my toughest decision here because all four of these guys are pretty much on the same tier. The interesting thing is they are all RB1 on their respective teams except for Tony Pollard, but Pollard is the guy everyone tells me to go with at RB2. I get it with Breece Hall... he is a bit of an unknown at this point, but man... Singletary is coming off 9 TDs in his last 6 games!!!! I keep going back to that, and that makes it hard to start Pollard over him. -
Not that you Bills fans are biased or anything... But who do you start wk 1?? General consensus so far has been Tony Pollard... especially with Zeke's decline and word that he will be a major receiving threat this season. What do you all think?
-
Slightly concerning for a new player, but I'm confident that he will Settle in.
-
Exactly what I am afraid of. This signing is incredibly important. Can’t have those 3 major needs going into the draft and if we do I believe Priorities become 1. CB 2. OG 3. WR
-
Assuming protection up front is good enough, let’s not underestimate how Allen is the type of QB that elevates the game of his weapons. I truly believe if we went into a game with Diggs-Davis-McKenzie at WR we could drop 30+… on ANY team. CB on the other hand… if Tre white really isn’t available until week 6 like OP suggested… that HAS to be #1 priority as of now. id even argue OL gets priority over WR as of now if we lose Ryan Bates. if Bates creates a void on our OL then priorities should be 1. CB 2. OL 3. WR

Former Bill Clarence "Pooh Bear" Williams dead at 47
ShakAttack replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember listening to Van Miller introducing “Pooh Bear” Williams in a pre-season game on WGR when I was a freshman in high school. Despite his short stint with the Bills, that nickname stuck with me for years. In fact, it might be my favorite Bills nickname of all time. RIP Pooh Bear. Go get that honey. -
With Allen, can the Bills de-emphasize skill positions?
ShakAttack replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right now, I just hate football. -
At least this is the first thing to come up that kinda takes my mind off 13 Seconds 🤷🏻♂️

Hitting Me Tough Again Today - What Could Have Been
ShakAttack replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah i thought I turned the corner today as well, but I had also not allowed myself to watch highlights or interviews from after the game yet. then this morning I decide to watch the Brandt segment from one bills live and they show the same highlights I was trying to avoid. I was sick to my stomach after the 4th Davis td was shown. Man… This isn’t gonna go away any time soon is it. -
Mahomes vs Allen: The Greatest Game Ever Played (cinematic video)
ShakAttack replied to beebe's topic in The Stadium Wall
I have yet to watch the highlights of that game, or interviews. But this morning I watched Kyle Brandt’s video from One Bills Live on the bills official site cause Brandt always makes me feel better about the Bills , but in the middle they start showing the last 3 Bills TDs in chronological order (first time I’ve seen them since the live game) and on the last one I see Davis staring down the Chiefs fans after his TD, clearly thinking he just scored the walk off TD like the rest of us…. and I felt sick to my stomach after that. All of that is to say…. yes, great game, and I’m sure a great video…. But I’m still not ready to go there. Not sure I ever will be.. lol -
I'll just say this... for the vast majority of BILLS fans to be convinced that we won the game when Allen hit Davis with 13 seconds left - despite being a fan base that has learned to EXPECT disappointment over the years - that in itself proves that it was a miracle by KC and should have never happened.

Cleansing my soul, then I will let it go

as far as the subject line: "Cleansing my soul, then I will let it go" IF you were successful and have figured out a way to let go of devastating Bills losses on-demand, PLEASE SHARE -
Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
ShakAttack replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'd be down with bringing back Isaiah Mckenzie and letting Beasley and Manny both walk. Davis deserves to be WR2 also. -
Brandon Beane Season Ending Presser Weds 1/27
ShakAttack replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall
We've closed the gap... but don't underestimate the other up-and-coming teams in the AFC. Thinking of Chargers and Bengals in particular. who are #2 and #4 in cap space respectively. It's going to be a challenge just getting to this point every single year. This season had the clearest path, especially now with Packers AND Bucs eliminated.... but... that's where I shut down my thought processes... else depression sets in. -

I'm going to the Videos section on Bills site, but i don't see any "Live" link or text.... is it just going to pop up when it officially goes live? or am I missing something. If anyone has a direct URL that be cool. This will be the first Buffalo Bills media I've allowed myself to watch since the game. Haven't watched the post game pressers (first time I haven't done that, ever) Haven't watched the highlights and possibly never will (another first for me) But, I'd really like to see Beane's year-end conference... EDIT: Just found it. For anyone else: https://www.buffalobills.com/video/bills-live -
it feels much worse because it’s Gabe Davis, our best red zone threat by a mile in the past few weeks and we were going to need that. The others, we could’ve lived with. I am actually in the unpopular minority that believes McKenzie can be just as capable or even better in the slot than Beasley (see season finale vs Miami last year, a must-win game for them in which Mckenzie arguably accomplished more than Beasley ever had…. In just one half of football)

12/19/21 Gameday Bills vs Panthers Postgame Thread
ShakAttack replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
With Colts & Steelers winning, interested to know current % at WC spot. I.e. if things don’t go our way next week… Anyone know? -
You know what bugs me the most? We’ve been at this for 20 years now with the Pats/Brady. And I feel that AT LEAST half of the games in which there have been major issues with officiating against the Bills have involved Brady’s team. Now when you consider we were playing this team for only 2 of our 16 games each season (this year 1), yet at least half of our games with inexplicably bad officiating have involved the NFL’s Golden Boy, how can you argue that it’s coincidental any more? It isn’t. And the WORST feeling for me as a fan is when you come to the realization that the NFL can and will force feed us with the success of whatever team they want. That in itself has made me wish I could stop being a fan. I was telling my buddy earlier. Drops cost us the Pats game. Refs cost us the Bucs game. I hate losing games because of self-inflicted issues, but NOTHING compares to refs dictating the game because that’s a situation the Bills have NO control over.

Well we went 13-3 without Star for an entire season… it’s mainly Tre I worry about.
