  1. I think VM sat out either the last KC drive or the 3rd or first of the 4th, and then came back after. It was a key point in the game at the time. Had me wondering if he’s ok. Anyone else notice and know what was happening?
  2. Love this. Thanks. I’m also from out of town - can you do a pizza poll to? I had 9 11 tavern this week, quite good!
  3. What a mess. Sounds like a bot. Looks like barcodes are required by sept 17 so this scam will wrap up by then. It’s quite clever actually if it’s running across a high number of events. If it’s all automated, even a low sales rate can collect some descent profit by doing nothing.
  4. Seems weird. I often list on both Ticketmaster and stubhub when I can’t attend. And the listings are linked through a Ticketmaster / stubhub partnership where if they sell on one platform the other listing gets removed as well. And when I list on stubhub I need to provide a barcode. I wonder why they are allowing listings without bar codes. It’s sure creating issues. It looks like they aren’t requiring the barcodes for listings until Sept 17. I guess the workaround is just list on stubhub first, and then Ticketmaster. Then whoever is doing this won’t have the chance to create a shadow listing of your tickets. If they are getting any sales, they must be making a fortune.
  5. Get your mouses ready, seats go onsale for individual games May 12. If your looking for tix, jump onto one of these methods to get the game(s) you want. I got two emails from the bills, they seem a little contradictory. I have seasons and they will be providing a code for preferred access with a limit of 6 tickets per game per account, with the onsale at 8pm May 12. Got a second email to an address not associated with my season seat account, and it also offers preferred access if you create a profile on the app. Same day/time as the season seats - 8pm May 12. So I guess seats are available to all, provided you follow one of the two steps above. The first email made it sound like season seat holders get an earlier presale but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Now let the schedule leaks begin so we can start planning!! Go bills, can’t wait! I’m in Canada and with all the border crap, extra starved to get back to games this year. Only made it to MNF last year, and then that turd Trudeau basically closed the border again unless you jumped thru a bunch of hoops. I’m so starved to get back!
  6. I’d love to know the PSL price ranges sooner than later, just to set up expectations.
  7. And PSL seat fees will probably pay the owner share. Hopefully they kick in. This asset (owning the team) is appreciating by billions for them.
  8. Josh was supposed to watch year 1, can’t hold that year against him.
  9. This reminds me of the raptors. We were a strong team in contention. Coach Dwayne Casey was doing a great job of developing the young talent but he could never get us over the hump. The raptors fired him and promoted Nick Nurse. I disagreed with the firing at the time, but it turned out different skills were needed for a contending team vs a developing team - and a new coach and some bold all in trades got us a championship. I’m undecided about Sean. I think I’d give him one more year, he knows what in game shortcomings he needs to adjust and it’s not that hard. Either team could have won it - and losing both coin tosses may have been as much of a factor as anything. Sucks tho, a different strategy at the end of the 4th and we’d be hosting next weekend.
  10. Do I like it? No. pain in the ass as I have seasons to three different teams and don’t attend every game. Is it overreach? Not in my opinion - most aren’t making significant $ over this, but some use as a nice tax free cash grab and should pay their share.
  11. I’d agree if NE, probably MNF. I think we match up better vs NE (over chargers) but I don’t want MNF.
  12. It’s awesome, Tua has shown enough to buy more time, and the fins will go nowhere for a few more years while they continue to watch Tua play inconsistently.
  13. He’d be game ready, he just wrapped up the cfl season. I’m not sure if he’s under contract, I think he’s now a cfl free agent.
  14. It would improve the experience if we could sit most of the game. I’ll try to notice what it’s like in other stadiums when I watch some games this weekend. Now I’m curious.
  15. I guess too late to flex into the night game next week. Would be way better than Washington vs Dallas.
  16. We are not a contender this year.
  17. I’m a few plays behind but see how Josh’s head bounced when he was taken down, then threw the bordeline INT the next play.
  18. Yea, I’m waiting till MNF. i did call Walgreens and they said they’d do naat PCR tests without an appointment- but it’s risky counting on the result by the end of the game so I’ll wait this one out sadly. Meanwhile the Erie positivity rate has shot up so now my wife is nervous about going to restaurants prior to the MNF game.
  19. If proven true I’d suspend him without pay balance of the year. It’s such a blatant disregard of the rules. I’m not commenting on the value of the vaccine btw, just his disrespect for the NFL and going out of his way to illegally circumvent the guidelines all players must adhere to. If I got into a college by using a fake report card, I’d be tossed from the school. To me this is similar behavior
  20. funny, that game turned my daughter off the raptors for the rest of the season.
  21. There’s a fire sale right now on tickets, below preseason pricing.
  22. I priced my tickets for the Texans at the very bottom early this past week and they sold pretty quick. I’m way better off that way versus what ticket prices have dropped to since in just a few days. And on Monday I’m going to do the same with my Miami game after we crush Washington. There’s no way Canadians are coming to the Miami game in meaningful numbers even if the border gets opened on the 21st by Biden, still too many other barriers, so I’m better off selling early. This sucks. I just want to come to the games already.
  23. Good article. Sums up well how I feel stuck in Canada as well. As a result I’ve had to resell my tickets to. The price has fallen dramatically. Buffalo is a small city for such a big stadium, so take out 15-25% of your season seat holders and the 30% (give or take) of locals who can’t attend due to vaccine status, and of course the prices are going to drop a ton. It’ll probably be close to full game day, your better off selling a $50 ticket for $25 vs zero and there’s enough demand, but the value of the seats are plummeting. Also, 16 to 34 year olds are only 60% vaccinated and I’ll bet they represent a disproportionate number of the fans in the stands, especially for the colder later season games. It’s pretty predictable that prices will remain soft for the balance of the year. They’ll go up a little if the border opens but not too much. As a Canadian it’s highly likely I’ll need a covid test to cross, and that’s $200 here. I bring my wife or kid and it’s $400. I won’t come to many games at that price. Over and above that, only some of the vaccines we used in Canada are recognized as valid vaccines in the US. As a result, even if the border opens many of us won’t be able to attend. Based on the way the vaccines were rolled out, it will probably impact fans between 40 and 60 years old the most. That’s gotta be the sweet spot age for season seat holders who don’t mind traveling for games. I’m dying to go and continue to manage my schedule and tickets on the hope of being able to attend but I’m not optimistic. I’ll break even on my seats or even end up a little in the black, but I’d much rather be in my seats behind the bills bench on the 43 yard line 16 rows up from the team sipping a beer and cheering my ass off. Instead, one of my seat partners is coming by and we’ll be watching the game again from my Toronto home and enjoying it, but also feeling that sense of loss from not being there.
  24. Most pro sports in Ontario are moving to vaccinated or negative test required later this month for both fans and staff. Much more mass acceptance of the concept in Canada, whether that’s right or wrong I’m not going to debate, but that’s my experience with all this.
