  1. Before stubhub eBay was the main marketplace for resale tickets. I bought and sold occasionally that way. Then with stubhub etc, ebay is pretty much a non factor.
  2. I was at the game last week and watched on tv a second time. I had a real hard time deciding if Beas was an asset, neutral or a detraction. I think they need to shorten his routes to be an asset. On his TD I said to my wife it’s not going to him, he’s lined up wide left. Then they shifted and moved him inside and snapped the ball with a quick toss and he was in easily. If they use him like that I think he can be an asset, but if they scheme for more of a scramble I’d leave him off the roster and use Isaiah.
  3. sure, I can have my wife take one of your seats and I can focus on the game!
  4. Damn I’m close to you. I’m 338 row 8, we have the pair that’s 1 seat off the aisle between us.
  5. For those who used a generic code and sold on stubhub, they will be screwed if Ticketmaster cancels their ticket. The stubhub penalty for a ‘dropped sale’ is at least what stubhub sold the seats for, or what stubhub had to pay to acquire similar seats to complete the sale.
  6. I don’t know much about Crowder to be honest, but I just read a short article about him that speaks to his exceptionally low drop rate. That’s something this team can use big time if he can get open.
  7. I’ll keep my hotel reservation for Buffalo for now, but odds are low I’ll need it now. Looks like KC would need to lose their one playoff game prior to the championship game. This sucks, we were in control of our destiny and now playing to secure the 2 seed tomorrow.
  8. Can Beas play? Does Monday’s call up get nullified?
  9. Here’s a bizarre idea but maybe it works. Restart the cancelled game on wild card weekend - but its only purpose is for seeding purposes for divisional round. Win or lose, both teams move to the divisional round but seeding is based on the now completed full season schedule. KC would get a bye still into the divisional round as well. Not sure if there is a way to make that work - but effectively have 3 AFC playoff games still and this seeding game.
  10. Resuming the game would be problematic. After another weekend of football coming up, surely there will be new injuries that impact availability, and some previously injured players may now be available. To a lesser extent, new weather conditions will play a role on the game. And resuming the previous game after the subsequent game has been played just feels odd. I wonder if anything like that has been done before. Maybe baseball? Then there is the emotional considerations. How can you ask these players to return to the field at the exact point where the hit took place with the same down and time on the clock. That’s PTSD waiting to happen. I don’t have the answers, but I think resumption doesn’t work. I’d probably cancel and seed spots 1, 2 and 3 based on win %.
  11. KC timing kind of makes sense. If we win Monday, odds are pretty high that we’ll be the #1 seed but would need to play with our starters (assuming KC wins Saturday, a high probability). And if we lose, we should probably play at the same time as the bengals as we’d still be in the race for the #2 seed.
  12. I’ve never paid attention - do west coast games ever get the early slot? Makes sense that we would be paired with KC and Cincy time slots (Cincy only if Monday doesn’t go our way).
  13. Poor guy. That sucks. You can probably blame Miami for not identifying that first one and letting him play and getting the second. If this is indeed true, probably best for his long term health to shut it down this season and see how he fares after a full off season. Sadly those predictions of a ruined career may prove correct, but best bet is to shut down now and see how next year goes. I’m no fins fan, but feel sorry for the kid. Was even becoming a descent rivalry again.
  14. I checked early in the year and it was closed. I know in the past they have run events in there.
  15. My concern is injury, especially for those recovering or nursing injuries. I’d be quick to pull or limit snaps for some.
  16. On the cold side in Detroit but not much snow…
  17. Thanks for sharing, it’s hilarious and worth the full listen!
  18. I would DQ the thread from any record due to topic drift. I’m a spoil sport and a purist.
  19. And that dumb ass play right before almost lost it!
  20. If I were OBJ, I’d probably lean to Dallas as my #1, but it would be very close. Cowboys just seem a little more well rounded, we have a big drop off on offense after Josh and Diggs. But our D kicks ass.
  21. Yea, look at my history. I’ve never come on with anything stupid. I subscribed to his twitch channel earlier today and he started breaking down the play he got hurt and talked about it for a bit, then continued on to play call of duty for awhile and I dropped off. That’s what these guys do to fill their time I guess. I’m mid 50s so this is a bit beyond me - streaming your games live. But it’s a thing with the millennials and so on.
