  1. 13 of the 19 NFL teams play outdoors in cold weather cities. Are you seriously going to tell me everyone of those teams only signs 2nd tier free agents? My lord man 18 of the last 22 Super bowl winners came from cold weather cities.
  2. I think it depends on the player. Myles Garrett has shown in the past he is a complete liar. Not surprising in the least.
  3. No such thing as a curse or bad luck. Somebody has to win and somebody has to lose. When the talent level is as close as it is between the Bills and the Chiefs, its usually going to be close. The curse was the 17 years they didnt make the playoffs. This current team is too successful to be called cursed.
  4. The guys handle is slick rick scoops. There is one of these guys every off season. Its entertainment.
  5. His signing will go down as one of the worst moves in Bills history. I truly believe signing him is part of the reason the Bills couldnt make moves to get over the hump the last few years.
  6. Way to choose 1919. When the life expectancy was 53. When only 1% of households had both indoor plumbing and electricity. Yes, people do die of the measles but choosing the exact year where measles related deaths were at the highest percentage in the last 100 years of American History isn't exactly living in reality. For God's sake, bacteriology and the impact of hand washing was relatively new in 1919. Odd for someone to give another person hell for "anecdotes" while simultaneously being amazingly hyperbolic.
  7. At this very moment its a moderate overpay. That said, you were able to get your 25 year old starting inside linebacker locked up for 4 years and not have to pay him a top 5 at his position. Forward looking contract and for far less than the Bears paid our former MLB.
  8. It also speaks to how good he probably was. Your point has you stuck in a vicious circle.
  9. They are golf buddies and vacation together. Was very surprised when he wasnt signed here.
  10. I wouldn't get too upset about his tweets. Beane is smart enough to know its a ploy. They know Cook's value. Its somewhere between 9-10 million a year. He isnt as good as Barkley, McCaffrey or Jacobs. He doesnt give you nearly what Kamara gives the Saints in the passing game. He is a 2 down back who struggles in pass protection. You dont pay runningbacks who play 47% of the snaps 15-20 million dollars a year. The Bills are playing with all the cards here. He's under contract for next season. They can trade him but dont have to. They can keep him on the roster and gradually reduce his carry share to Ray Davis. Or he can hold out. In any of those scenarios the Bills dont have to pay him. In any of those scenarios Cook still remains a 26, going on 27 year old running back who isnt worth the money he wants and likely wont get it.
  11. They should have been interested in him in 2019 when he originally hit free agency. Now he is 32 and at the end of his career.
  12. Depends on what the criteria is. If its strictly based on output and impact on the games its Mario Williams. If its both that and longevity in a Bills uniform its Schobel. For me its Mario Williams.
  13. Welcome to silly season in the NFL. My poor Raiders' fan brother in law. He woke up thinking he was getting Stafford.
  14. He is in the final year of his deal. Maybe they think they can get younger at the position, save $18 million on the cap, and improve other positions.
  15. The thing is its quite clear what they are doing. The problem is adults who still want to be teenagers and fit in are easily fooled.
  16. No the owners daughter was all about him. He made way too many appearances on her social media. Thats the point I was making.
  17. So you think everyone's opinions hold the same weight? Even if they've shown they are completely useless? LAME
  18. McDermott absolutely ran the 2017 draft. White and Dawkins were his picks. Whaley and Monos were absolute clowns. Whaley should have spent more time trying to find a QB and less time with the owners daughter.
  19. Far be it from me to criticize the Memphis Showboats GM but McDermott and Beane have been here longer than Monos was in the NFL. So essentially, his opinion is about as good as Deleware Don's. Screw this guy.
  20. I would trade him as well. Good back but he has trouble staying on the field on third downs. Good player not great. They need to focus on getting a #1 WR and an Edge who can disrupt games.
  21. Not surprised in the least. They've had way too many injuries over the last few seasons. They need a new plan.
  22. These are the type of threads no one comes to complain about how the Bills value high character too much. Go figure.
  23. It's just really early morning.
  24. We really have to stop this narrative. Reid is one of the best offensive coaches of all time but he isn't revolutionizing offense. Part of his genius is calling the right play at the right time but part of it is drafting great players. Scheme and players are symbiotic one doesn't work without the other. Let's just call a spade a spade with Worthy and Coleman, one guy is running by people in the Superbowl, and the other is a jump ball specialist who can't run a fade route. It's not only about scheme and it's not only about talent. That said, that does Coleman do that's elite? He can't get off press. He hasn't shown he has reliable hands. He isn't fast. And he can't run a full route tree. Scheme doesn't fix that.
  25. Gotta love the millionaire rapper who just happens to be playing the biggest show on planet Earth playing the "America doesnt like me" card.
