  1. Moore's cap hit for this year is a lot closer to what the Bills can actually afford. I'd be fine with it. Could be the level of QB play they have there right now?
  2. Kincaid may have the best hands on the team I agree. But Knox was catching the ball very well in 2021 and 2022. He's had drop issues prior to that, and since Kincaid was drafted. I think the trend for him is he becomes more reliable in bringing in the ball as his targets go up. Similar to a running back who needs touches to be more effective. The bigger issue is the Bills used massive resources in terms of money and draft picks for a position Josh doesnt seem to rely on that much.
  3. I meant in terms of receiving production from a #1 tight end. Granted Knox never had the number of targets Kincaid had in his first season. Kincaid has much better hands, Knox is a better blocker, but they are both 6'4 250-pound athletic tight ends.
  4. From memory it looked like they were trying to get it to Coleman.
  5. Diggs just really likes the attention to be on him. It was on him when he was traded here, tons of articles the first few years about his relationship with Allen. When that died down, he needed to stir the pot with cryptic tweets, and sideline tantrums to get the machine up and running again. Then the trade. Now he is with another new team he will have the attention again, including articles about what a great leader he is in Houston's Lockeroom, how he is a team captain, how all the rumors about him being difficult must have been about his old team and not him. More articles about his relationship with Allen and the innerworkings of the Bills organization. Not to mention all the attention on him this week playing the Bills. Its rinse, wash, repeat with this guy. Houston could easily win this game, and then he will get more attention because maybe he did make Allen. The reality of Diggs is he is very good at football, but he is also an incredibly emotionally immature narcissist. If he were a musician or a writer, the press would dub him a "tortured genius" when the truth of the matter is he just a selfish person who changes the entire feel of a room because everyone else has to worry about his "feelings." It will likely work out in Houston because it seems like the shelf life for him being able to not let his emotions control his actions on a football team is somewhere between 3 and 4 years, and he will either leave in free agency or retire before that happens. Glad for what he did here. Glad he is gone. Wish I didnt have to continue hearing about him.
  6. You are an angry angry person.
  7. Always found it hilarious so many people hate the acronym MAGA when it stands for Make America Great Again....so odd
  8. Hes been a great soilder for the team. Very good blocker and probably could have just continued being our #1 tight end. His best seasons are exactly what Kincaid gives us now. Which makes me think it has more to do with how Josh targets tight ends than it does their ability. His contract wouldn't look so bad if they didn't also use a high pick on his clone.
  9. RIP. Enjoy the show a lot. They had tributes today him today. Way way too young.
  10. One of my favorite Dad memories was watching my daughter block a shot in 4th Grade basketball and give the other kid the Mutombo. Always seemed like a good hearted giant. RIP big fella.
  11. I could see him going back to Green Bay or heading off to Dallas, the Jets or Minnesota. He has connections in all of those places and they have the money to swing it.
  12. He is on pace for his worst season as a pro by far. We will see how it plays out but if he finishes the way he has started he will end up with 13 tackles, 0 Sacks, and 0 Tackle for Loss. Stats dont mean everything but I think its fair to say the Bills were hoping for more when they gave him 9.5 million dollars this year. Fully understand the guys behind him havent been great, especially Sunday night, but overall I dont think he's been good. I understand the Bills run light boxes, and the 4-2-5 isnt the best scheme against the run, but part of the reason you want a dominate 1 tech in that scheme is to ensure your backers stay clean and can play fast. Just my opinion.
  13. When your team is 30th in the league in rush defense I'd say the play of your 1 tech has something to do with it.
  14. Big boy incoming. Kind of odd, Austin Johnson has been ok. Daquan Jones has been bad but he isnt going anywhere.
  15. Would it surprise you in the least?
  16. Can he finally go in the Hall now?
  17. The only kicker available who is close to being better than Bass is Riley Patterson. McManus is washed and no better than Bass.
  18. I am not sure we have a top tight end or wide receiver. For comparison's sake Kincaid and Shakir are like having Heath Miller and Nate Burleson on the same team. They really need an elite offensive talent to pair with Allen. They dont have that currently.
  19. The Bass contract is really just a product of the rest of the bad contracts. If they werent paying Miller and Knox, they could have easily parted ways with Bass. Still think the Miller contract is one of the worst in Bills history.
  20. I am not a Gabe Davis fan but you could have had him or Darnell Mooney for less than what you're paying Knox alone.
  21. Khalil Shakir is a legitimate #2 wideout in the league. Kincaid is a very good tight end in the league. Coleman is as good as players like KJ Osborn or DJ Chark. That said, the Bills are paying Knox, Samuel, Hollins and MVS $27 million dollars to be completely non existent.
  22. It's both. And to say anything other is ignorant. The coaches didn't tell Spector, and Lewis to not get the right depth. They didn't tell Dorian Williams to get toasted in coverage or for the entire team to stop tackling well. They didn't tell the oline to not show up or the wideouts to drop passes. They didn't tell dlinemen to get fooled on misdirection over and over again. The coach made massive mistakes but this was a total team loss. Football isn't baseball with some goofball in a jersey doing little to nothing but it also isn't all coaching. It's the one sport that takes great players and great coaches to do well.
  23. Unprepared and outcoached. This one is on McDermott and his staff.
  24. Max protect only works if your running back knows who to block
  25. Misdirection is fine. A throw behind the line or jet sweep that turns into a half back or wr pass is fine. Putting your franchise qb in danger is stupid beyond stupid. Did anyone think Curtis Samuel was going to throw the ball there?
