  1. Are you coming over to the dark side? I know you would still take Rosen over both of them, but it was kinda cool to see you talk up Mayfield a bit.
  2. That bit wasn't in the article I read. Yes, I would say that makes a difference. The article I read said the "robbery" took place at a hotel.
  3. I'll give it a chance. The NFL has given the public a virtual road map on how not to run a league over the last few years. If Vinny can figure out what a catch is, and make sure the refs dont decide games he may have something.
  4. To ensure you get Baker you most likely have to make a trade with Oakland. In that instance you'd be giving them 1st (21), 2nd (53), 3rd (94) and maybe even a conditional 7th in 2019. Brings you down to six total picks. I'd do it, but I am not sure the Bills front office would. I think they can stay at home and get Mason Rudolph and another 1st round talent without having to give up any picks. The Bills really need the Giants to take Barkley at #2, and to have either the Broncos or Jets to sign one of the bigger name free agent quarterbacks.
  5. I am curious how you get arrested for accidentally grabbing a not packaged not for sale charger? If he took someone's charger by accident and is now being accused of burglary, I'd say the bigger issue is the waste of time and money worrying about this. However, this was stolen from a store, which is not likely being it was 3am, then he isn't very smart.
  6. Its not relegated to his stats. Watch the game film of him against Nebraska last year. One of the more epic meltdowns Ive watched. Point here is because he is big and has a cannon experts will watch that same tape and tell you "he did some good things considering the talent around him" they are dying for him to be good. I agree with the arm talent but if I am drafting a guy who cant contribute even when forced into action I wouldnt touch him until the 4th round.
  7. Disgaree. Brady had two ok seasons at Michigan. Had he been a three or four year starter he may have been drafted higher. Josh Allen is a three year starter who aside from being big and likeable checks no other boxes. He doesnt win games, he doesnt throw for many yards, gives the ball away like its going out of business and is sub 60% completion percentage. It is hubris that makes teams like him. Its the same thing that got the Jets Christian Hackenberg.
  8. The NFL never learns. No matter how big or athletic someone is, bad quarterbacks dont turn into good quarterbacks over time and no amount of sitting or coaching changes that. Josh Allen is who Josh allen is, and thats a long shot project. It will be a wasted pick if the Bills draft him in the 1st.
  9. If you were in a high level meeting wouldn't that take less time? Less details at a high level.
  10. The more I see of Josh Allen the more I am convinced he needs to sit and watch for a couple of years, and even then I think its a long shot. The odds are against every quarterback coming out of college, and not just players from a spread offense. I think the success rate is somewhere around 30% for all quarterbacks drafted. When I watch Allen I see Deshone Kizer and EJ Manuel. Players with all the physical tools who just arent accurate enough to be big game guys.
  11. Haha. We will see at the combine I suppose. I do remember you posting there were rumors he was 5'9.
  12. One of maybe six quarterbacks in this years class who meets the Parcell's Requirements. Seems to be a winner, but man does it appear he throws a lot of interceptions for that level of competition. May be more Tom Savage than Joe Flacco. Havent been able to watch much game film outside of that exact highlight example from youtube.
  13. I think this should be a good barometer for Mayfield, if we ever get those measurements. I have to say, I am a big fan of Baker's game, but start of the week isn't looking good for him. Find it wacky he showed up late, and then followed it up with his agent saying he may not play at all. Using the excuse "lesser known players will be vying for snaps." Better to not show up at all, than to show up and act like you're doing the game a favor by being there.
  14. I see you're getting flamed for this but I agree 100% with what you're saying here. He is the best that's ever done it. I enjoy disliking him as a Bills fan, but I also appreciate how good he is at what he does. Just a bad draw that he gets to do it against my team twice a year.
  15. Was thinking this exact same thing last night after the Pats game. They are the two players I've watched during my lifetime where you kind of knew the game belonged to them. Anyone saying the difference is Brady lost isn't accounting for the difference in playoff formats in the respective leagues. Jordan did lose championship games, it just wasn't one and done like it is in the NFL. I personally think they are the two greatest players I have ever seen. Brady made Belicheck, its not the system because the system didnt work anywhere Brady wasnt.
  16. Ill say he comes in at 6 even. Maybe 5'11 3/4
  17. Feel like you may be missing my point here. You specifically asked why Cousins record is worse than Tyrods. I made my point in correlation to that question and that question only. Cousins isnt a great quarterback he is just good. Tyrod is a way below average quarterback who should be a backup.
  18. I dont want Cousins. You asked why Tyrod had won more games. Simpliy put the difference in their win percentages is neglible and Cousin played better teams. Frankly I think Cousins is above average for the NFL as currently constructed so no way Id pay him top five money. On the Tyrod point, we currently have a bottom five player at that position at we need to upgrade. Doesnt change the fact Cousins is better than what we have.
  19. The Redskins play the Eagles, Cowboys and Giants for six games a year. They play in a much tougher division, and in all honesty a much better conference. Cousins is worlds beyond Tyrod as a quarterback.
  20. His mechanics are good, like a kid who has practiced them everyday since he was 12. However, for a guy who is 6'4 he sure gets a lot of balls batted at the line of scrimmaged. watched six games on him and was very surprised by the amount of times that happened. On Josh Allen, I am blown away by the amount of love he gets. Dont see it at all.
  21. Thats if he weighs 212 pounds. Some sites have him listed as low as 199. Also may have something to do with his poor footwork, accuracy issues, and the fact that he is way more of a dynamic runner than he is a passer. Get the feeling Klemko is alluding to something different here considering the list he put together.
  22. Kinda funny if you replace the words Buffalo with Syracuse and Dareus with Mike Williams this same exact article was written when the Bills signed Mike Williams and St. Doug picked him up at the airport.
  23. Wonder if he loses more street cred for the DUI or being a millionaire driving a 2006 Dodge Charger?
  24. I have literally no time for people who blame their environment for being a sub standard human being. A.) If you know enough to blame your surroundings for your poor behavior, then you recognize your behavior is poor, and rather than fix it you find excuses to keep doing it. This tells me you're beyond comfortable with being a bad person. B.) He is not the only human ever to have lost people or grown up without positive role models. Not 100% of those same people grew up to be 30 year old children, so that tells me its about the person not the situation. He got paid and didn't live up to his end of the bargain, so he got shipped out of town. Hopefully for his long term existence he realizes its not the world's fault he keeps finding himself in bad situations.
  25. Went back and re-watched every throw from three games for each of the top rated passers in this years draft, including Allen. Walked away with the same impression I had of him after watching three games earlier in the season. He may have the best arm I have ever seen, but with that being said I think he is the kind of Quarterback who will be drafted on potential alone, and really shouldn't be picked before the third round. Even considering the lack of talent around him he has gigantic meltdowns during games and doesn't do a good job of bouncing back from them. Even his "most impressive" game of the season against Central Michigan was a bit of a misnomer. Feel like he is a project quarterback and I truly hope the Bills dont consider him in the first round.
