Harris Campaign: $20 Million In The Red
thenorthremembers replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I am sure she will inherit plenty of blood money when her war monger father kicks the bucket. -
Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
thenorthremembers replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does the guy have a broken wrist? He's missed or played an insignificant number of snaps in 3 of 4 games. I honestly think the Bills would have been willing to give him a 1–2-year deal at the end of the season had he come here and helped the offense. I am all for guys getting healthy but it is getting a little weird. -
Who’s the best Left Tackle you have ever watched?
thenorthremembers replied to njbuff's topic in The Stadium Wall
The best I recall watching was Jonathan Ogden. He just completely enveloped people. Even when compared with some of the best Left Tackles of all time he seemed on a different level in terms of both size and athleticism. -
Cant be. It is my understanding after reading this board that Beane and McDermott are complete morons for not playing him and releasing him.

My Grandfather had the NFL Films VHS tapes when I was growing up. I watched them relentlessly on the weekends. Coach Robinson was a fixture on a few of those. I always found it very cool that he and John Madden were friends growing up. LA Times did an article about their friendship when Madden passed away a few years back. John Madden's Lifelong Buddy John Robinson Sad to see these last links to a different and less corporate era of football pass away. RIP Coach.

the Daboll/Schoen regime - on the brink, it seems
thenorthremembers replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
It may have come from the owner, but Schoen looks to be the reason the Giants wasted another two seasons on Jones. I think the Saquon move was the right one, but man its bit them in the butt. For the sake of the incoming rookie QB the Giants need to tear down and start again. The likelihood the rookie comes in and takes them to the playoffs is low, so you will essentially have a lame duck coach with your franchise QB. Better off to have the franchise QB come in the same year as the new coach. -
I enjoy Locked on Bills as well. Started enjoying Buffalo Plus more and more. I like Rockpile Report as well for the humor. Havent listened since last season though.

Are The Bears Wrecking Caleb Williams?
thenorthremembers replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. He is a rookie. In terms of rookie play he isnt wrecked. If he comes away from one year wrecked its because he is mentally weak and thats not on the Bears. Eberflus will be fired and they bring in an offensive mind to work with him. -
He's been ok. Nothing new with Ed. He has his best seasons when the 1 tech playing next to him plays well enough for him to play free. Jones has been bad, not sure he isn't washed. When Ed has to do too much it doesn't go well.

He looks like a lady you'd take a night class with.

Week 10, Bills v. Colts, GAME BALLS!
thenorthremembers replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cook Hollins Groot Taron Johnson Bass -
I agree we dont want a "Stefon Diggs" because Diggs was starting to decline last year. However, we do need a #1 WR. The Bills are in desperate need of a playmaker who can strike fast on this team. Too often this year the wideouts have been completely taken out of the game. There is no one on the offense outside of Cook that defensive coordinators have to game plan for and its shown.

Jordan Poyer needs to be suspended
thenorthremembers replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
He made a really stupid play. I am sure some of that had to do with him trying extremely hard to show the Bills he had something. That said, Jordan has said nothing but glowing things about Buffalo and the organization. He showed back up to Josh's softball game after the Bills let him move on. He was a hell of a solider for this team. Going so far to take a van to a game to play because he wasn't cleared to fly with broken ribs. The guy was a great Bill and an absolute dog of a player. He gave his heart and soul to this team and has continued to uphold the organization as one of a kind. Nothing but respect to All Pro Po. -
If Jerry would stay off radio and act like an actual owner instead of constantly mouthing off they'd have a better shot of just moving on. McCarthy is 45-30 as their head coach and you'd think he has a losing record with how much noise comes from the organization. Dak has missed 18 games since McCarthy became the head coach and they still have a winning record in that time period.

It's both. I appreciate the manner in which the coaches give the players real time to recover, especially when you have half the season to go. That said, this team has been absolutely beat to hell over the last three seasons. Maybe it's time for them to rethink their strength and conditioning program a bit?
