  1. Now when he does that to a guy, AND sends him through a burning table, I'll be impressed. Until then, McBeane ruined the draft! We are #doomed! Wasted pick! I kid... I kid... Joseph was ranked much higher than he was selected by a solid majority of the draft media (for whatever that's worth). From the little tape I've seen, he is very fast, plays violent, and just needs to hone his focus and aggression into more quality plays. He also needs to put on a few pounds of good weight, but with that new training facility, the opportunity will be his for the taking. I expect a bit of a learning curve, too, in terms of diagnosing plays, but a player like Joseph is the direction that NFL LB's are taking: smaller, faster, coverage-capable guys. Have him learn under Milano, and I feel like he can be a really productive piece of this D.
  2. Ah, you're right! It's been awhile since I watched. Now I feel like I should go back and review them.
  3. And, at #251, the Rams took Last Chance U fan favorite, Dakota Allen. Pretty cool story. Glad to see this kid get a shot. If anyone watched season 1, he had a pretty big role in it.
  4. In case it went unnoticed, the G-Men landed Chris Slayton - DT - Syracuse, with pick #245. Glad someone from Upstate NY was drafted!
  5. I feel like the Patsies are going to draft Tyree Jackson, just to spite us. It's just the ****riot Way ?
  6. @whatdrought I had him going as high as the 4th round in some mock simulations I ran. I feel like the Phins got a gem. Also, it's odd that they took back to back 7th round RB's... anyone else notice that?
  7. @PromoTheRobot I believe the colloquial Foxboro term you were looking for is "fekkin", but I'm no Beantown boy ???
  8. Haven't done a ton of film work on Joseph, but his name rules, he's speedy and instinctive, and we need backup LB's. Good fit behind Milano, both in terms of learning under another undersized scrapper of an LB and in case The Cookie goes down. I'm with you, McBeane! ???
  9. Ha ha! No worries, man! No blood; no foul. From a talent standpoint, it's hard to say; Knox has some crazy metrics for his size. In terms of production, Butler wins out, hands down. Our TE cupboard was a lot more bare than our WR stable, though; that had to factor into it. Beane mentioned the drop off after Knox, on their board, was a prime reason they went for him.
  10. Well, it was the Skins. You know what they say: it only takes one team to fall in love with a pick. If he recovers, Love can be the best RB of this class. 4th round you can make those gambles.

  12. Butler scared me because of the dropsies. He has all the talent in the world, and the size and speed to be legit in the league. I just had Benjamin nightmares, when I watched his tape leading up to the draft. I could be wrong: recency bias and the fear of our "big body / tall WR" curse, you know?
  13. Bryce Love to the Skins. In the 4th. I had a few folks from this board argue against me that Love would last to the 6th or 7th. I hate to say I'm right, but... proof is in the pudding, gents. THAT is why you take your guy before someone else does. It also helps put the Singletary pick into perspective, and makes me even happier that we snagged him when we did. Wishing Love the best; I wanted him. Glad the Patsies missed on him.
  14. @MacGyver at Camp Cutdown, 2019: "I HATE that we cut half of our draft class." @MacGyver in 3rd grade math: Teacher: "What's 5 times 7?" MacGuyver: "Iguana!"
  15. @Binghamton Beast I predict he will be traded for AJ McCarron prior to next year's draft, ha ha!
  16. I'm down with this pick. Ford plays mean, and that Sooner line kept two straight #1 QB's upright and clean.
  17. Damn, Marrone... why did you have to go and make a logical pick?
  18. Thank you, Sweet Baby Jesus! May Ed Oliver fall further, and further, and further...
