  1. I would also add RG and RT to the mix although probably not in the 1st but those spots definitely need upgrading. Hell even Center.
  2. It's only the 1st round. I have no problem with the Bills passing if Rosen and Darnold are going 1 and 2. The only other guy I would want is Jackson. I'm starting to wane on Rudolph as a 1st rd pick. He may go 2nd. QB's will get inflated but I don't want the Bills REACHING on picks. I'd be happy taking Rudolph or Falk in rd 2 or 3 and bolster up other areas in rd 1 if Darnold and Rosen are out of the picture.
  3. So we just needed clarification on "right away" that's all. I think as far as guys panning out whether taken early and thrown in "right away" or taken a little later and given time to develop really hinges on their situation. I don't think everyone's situation can be described the same way. In any case, I'm eager to see what we will do.
  4. I wouldn't mind it and target Luke Falk on wherever his draft stock is.
  5. I stand corrected he did start from day 1. Goff did not. They did not. It depends on what you mean by "right away"? If you mean week 1 then you are wrong which is what I took you to mean. Only Wentz started week 1. Watson did not start and would have never seen the field as early as he did if Savage did not get hurt. Trubisky did not start week 1.
  6. Goff, Wentz, Watson, Trubisky none of them started right away.
  7. I'm a Luke Falk fan. He has some questions about arm strength but there is one trait that he has that is actually more refined than most of the guys in this draft. He goes through his reads and progressions faster than just about anyone in the draft. When you turn on the tape watch his helmet at the snap. His head is on a swivel. Most of the time the football is out of his hands. He likes throwing over the middle of the field. Now sometimes he holds onto the football too long but I think a lot of his issues can be easily corrected except for arm strength. That's the question mark. Falk is tough for me to grade. I see him as a 2nd -4th round guy with a lot of talent. And I definitely think he can be a special QB.
  8. He is already being blamed too. On Redzone he just mentioned if the Bills win next week but the Chargers also win then the Bills are out because of the "Peterman game where they chose to bench Tyrod Taylor" Media is terrible man.
  9. LOL lots of funny answers but to me the Clay drop was pivotal. Then to compound it with the KB no TD... Only the Patriots get these calls. Man I hated that call. Geez it was terrible.
  10. Couldn't believe Dennison had this guy running a SLANT route.
  11. I tend to agree. I'm a Chubb fan. But we just need a QB. But all things being equal I'd take Chubbs hands down.
  12. I gave him the positives that I saw. He's a physically imposing QB. He has a big arm. I've seen quite a few of his games. He's just very RAW and that's not something I want for the Bills.
  13. If this is the reason then I wouldn't mind Smith starting until our other guy is ready.
  14. Allen is playing in the Potato Bowl right now. He's thrown 3 TD's but color me UNIMPRESSED. I'm looking for translatable traits and other than his frame and arm I just ughhhh. I wouldn't mind taking him LATE 1st but he can't start right away. He's raw. Certainly shouldn't trade up for him IMO. Now of course I will say, this looks like a regression from last year. I watched a three of his games last year and he looked better. But even the Allen of last year to me I wouldn't trade two 1st rd picks to grab him.
  15. I'd be surprised if the Panthers let Star walk. Star is the NT and Short is the 3 tech. Butler was drafted in event Short wasn't resigned not Star. Butler is not a NT/1 Tech.
  16. The loss of Musgrave IMO is the largest factor along with Cooper's health.
  17. The biggest problem for us is that we don't do a lot of what gives NE trouble. The blueprint has always been press man with pressure from 4 man rush. We don't do a lot of that. Our scheme is zone heavy. In any case, we have to stop the run first. I'm sure NE remembers the last game and will be calling run plays early and often.
  18. The Titans loss yesterday did not change their seeding. They are still in it and the Ravens are the 6. The Ravens actually have an easy road closing out against the Colts and the Bengals. The Titans are the ones with the toughest road as they close out against the Rams and the Jags. We need to win out and the Titans need to lose out and we are in for sure. Baltimore is 6th.
  19. LOL, it's for those playing. Matthews and Miller probably already played their last game as Bills.
  20. I think you could add Preston Brown, LORAX to that list. I'd look for the Bills to get younger and faster at linebacker to add to the surprising Milano.
  21. Milano is at Weak Side. We need a real middle guy and Smith is that guy. I could see them definitely pulling the trigger on Smith and Vea if they are there. They want a strong defense and right now it's not not that because they do not have the players. And with Kyle Williams most likely retiring, I'd say they need two DT's. If he continues his outstanding play he's not going to be there in the 2nd round.
  22. Shouldn't be as bad as the chargers. Simon is on IR. If our line can't handle Mingo and Sheard then they need to start flipping burgers. Sheard is OK but Mingo has not had a great career.
  23. I don't think we should wait around for a perfect QB. My point is outside of Mayfield, who shows great leadership and has that edge to him, I'm not a fan. And looking at what Dennison would like I don't see these guys fitting that. A perfect fit for Dennison is a Matt Hasselbeck type of guy. It's not about waiting around for the perfect QB, but it is about finding the "perfect fit".
