  1. I think if you go on message board of most teams you're going to see the incessant whining. I mean the thing is McD said this is a process but people think the draft this year was supposed to supplant the process and everything is perfect and ready to go.
  2. Dawkins is versatile. He can also play Guard. So to me he's the swing lineman, but if he happens to win out the RT spot then great. It's not like the competition is great there.
  3. The only trade up I was skeptical was Jones. Thought he might be there at the original pick. But I do think they did right in jumping Carolina for Dawkins. Although honestly, I like Moton, but Moton is not a good Tackle Prospect so I think jumping the Panthers was the right move because they most likely would have taken Dawkins there. I think this is a very solid haul of players. I get that we need more players, but I think they are going with the idea of quality over quantity and that we will have plenty of quantity come in after the draft
  4. The one thing you have to realize about some people is no matter what you do, to them you will always lose.
  5. I like: Carl Lawson Zach Cunningham Cam Robinson Forrest Lamp - don't need a guard but still like the player. Chris Godwin Obi Melinfonwu Budda Baker Malik McDowell Tanoh Kpassagnon Daeshon Hall Tyus Bowser Jordan Leggette Ju-Ju Dion Dawkins - again don't need a guard but like the player Taywan Taylor Jordan Willis Taylor Moton - projects as a Guard but still like the player. Complete destroys people. Didn't play to well as a tackle this past year. Davis Webb Marcus Williams Josh Jones Derrick Rivers Jake Butt
  6. Ehhh but you do know that McDermott and Reid go way back though. So it's not far-fetched that Reid called him and said we want to take a QB. This could have been discussed at the combine. This is what I was going to say. Reid could have told McD after the Combine or Pro day that he wanted a QB. McD gets the troops together and makes it look like the Bills want the QB but is just doing some extra scouting for Andy.
  7. I don't like the linebackers left for round 2. I think we should take a Safety like Baker or Melinfonwu. Forgot about Cunningham though.
  8. I think Foster has a really bad shoulder and the recheck revealed he'll need surgery and won't be ready until like mid year.
  9. And just to add, the thought of Ragland and Foster, two head hunters that love to hit people with tone setting hits, these are things that change football games.
  10. He didn't. He never failed a test at Alabama and was never in trouble at Bama.
  11. It'll be a guy that makes the defense work IMO. I'm going with Reuben Foster or Hasson Reddick.
  12. Reddick is not a hoax. Best 3-4 OLB in pass rush productivity in the country (this does not mean sacks). Take that and add it to the versatility he brings of being able to move around a defense, play on the 2nd level, and drop into coverage then you have the makings of a great linebacker who can impact games on multiple levels. But we won't trade and get him. He's coveted by a few teams in the teens it seems. Baltimore, Indy, Washington. The Saints could use him too.
  13. Would not mind this pick. I would prefer Reddick for the versatility and added pass rush, but would not be mad with this pick at all.
  14. I can only speculate but this seems to be something that had long been known by the parties involved. Just like with the new coaching staff the cleaned the slate, I think this was the plan all along, namely to clean the entire slate after everyone had completed their job. After the draft the scouting department will have done their job.
  15. I'm a Perine and Foreman fan in terms of mid round value. I see both going in that 3-4 range.
