  1. These guys are not guys that stick out though IMO. All of them have some concerns. Some major. I'm not a fan of the QB's in this class especially with Dennison as the play caller. I like the defense in this class though.
  2. If you can land Bradley Chubb then see ya Shaq.
  3. If Dennison is going to be stuck in his ways I don't want Jackson. If he's going to be flexible like the Texans coach then I'd be fine with Jackson.
  4. If Roquan Smith is there at our first pick you don't trade. You select, that's all!!!
  5. Marcus Peters just helped us a lot. Great job!! LOL
  6. Me too, but I know we are going to need one either in FA or the draft. If we can land Cousins in FA I'd like that then take Smith and a DT or OL in rd 1. Smith gives the 2nd level some grit. The only gritty guy there is Lorax and he's old. P. Brown is more of a technician at linebacker with limited athleticism. I want a guy that has it all and Smith is that guy.
  7. Let's see. Run defense today thus far: Dion Lewis 14 for 92 Burkhead 10 for 75 White 4 for 16 ______________________ 183 rushing Jesus this is bad. Give me Roquon Smith in rd 1 with a QB and a DT in rd 2 with OL.
  8. Man this team needs so much. Honestly, I want Roquan Smith and Baker Mayfield in rd 1. That's all.
  9. Just got lucky because that was PI on Brown who never looked back for the pass.
  10. To me the entire OL except for Dawkins needs to be replaced. Incognito is still good but the age is an issue.
  11. It was zone. 8 dropped back in coverage. It was just a dumb decision.
  12. That interception was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen. Taylor needs to decide that he's going to be himself. He only threw that because he's trying to be a pocket passer. They dropped 8 and rushed three he should have ran it.
  13. I believe in winning through the trenches although QB is very important. If we make the playoffs though I think we'll miss out on the top guys. I wouldn't sell the farm with what this team needs at other positions. Now had we actually had gotten something for Marcel Dareus like an extra 3rd then that would have helped. But now we only have one 3rd due to the Benjamin trade, no fourth I think and now only 5 picks in the first three rounds with a roster that needs a major infusion of talent to be throwing two picks at 1 player.
  14. I'd say a bit early to criticize McDermott's defense since he really doesn't have the players that he needs. I'll give him one offseason
  15. I think the thing with Peterman is when you look at the good in his performance, it's actually really damn good. On his completions to our WR's he was sharp; accurate; on the money; the football was out. I look at it this way, he throws only 2 INT's if he just eats the football. Of those two, one is ball placement, the other one is on the fullback as it hit him directly in his hands. If we had a different offensive coordinator I'd definitely say sit Peterman down. But Rico wants to run what he wants to run. I'm not a fan of this style of coaching, but it is what it is. I like guys who are flexible. Bill O'Brien for instance, he made a guy that many predicted to take a long time to develop, namely DeShaun Watson, a star. Rather than saying this is what I run, O'Brien brought in Clemson offense 2.0. Watson looked beyond his years until he got hurt. But alas that's some other teams situation and not ours.
  16. I think you have to start Taylor. What Peterman showed last week was a guy that has some really good tools but he's not ready. Three of his INT's were a result of him just not being mature as a passer and I get that, he's a rookie and Bosa and Engram were not taking it easy on him either. One of his other passes was an interception due to ball placement. The other one should have been caught. He's not ready.
  17. Just watched all of his throws. I actually like the kid. Few takeaways. Peterman's first two passes were on the money and great reads/passes. The first pass out of the shotgun to Clay was a great read and quick throw. Good placement.13:28 1st qtr. 2nd pass at 12:59 to Benjamin GREAT. ON time; great placement. Next pass attempt he scrambles. 12:30 1st qtr. 12:01 1st qtr the descent into hell begins - this should have been caught by DiMarco. Pass was not made from an ideal posture though. But still hit DiMarco in his hands and thus should have been caught. Next pass to Holmes - not a bad read. Had 1v1. Overthrew it to live a next down. 10:54 1st Next Pass Underthrown for an interception - did not trust the protection and defenders were really on him as he threw this one up for grabs off of his back foot. That's why it was underthrown. 10:44 1st qtr Next Pass to Charles Clay - Quick Out. Good fast read. Good throw. 3:44 1st. Next Pass - hit in the face when he threw it. DuCasse got his QB killed. Another floater up for grabs and intercepted 1:20 1st qtr 12:45 2nd qtr another quick pass. Ball Placement is the issue here IMO. The CB jumped the pass from the inside. If he places this outside the WR then it's either a completion or an incompletion, not an interception. 9:55 2nd qtr - Smash concept to the QB's left. Good read. Hit's Thompson underneath. 9:23 2nd qtr - RO pass, probably should have just thrown this away. Lucky the CB went out of bounds or else probably would have been INT 5 right here. 4:00 2nd qtr - Good read to the right WR just a bad pass. 1:00 2nd qtr - Good read; great pass to Thompson :42 2nd qtr - Good read; miscommunication with WR. Not sure if this was on Peterman or Thompson. Peterman threw 5 INT's and that's just not going to ever look good. But there were some good things, some really good things. Three of the INT's could have been avoided if he just eats the ball and takes the sack. One could have been avoided if the FB catches the football. The other was ball placement. The end result never looks good no matter how one tries to fix it. But there are some positives in there. I think that game showed he has some maturing to do as a passer. I wouldn't write him off yet, I would also be very nervous about him starting too LOL. No matter who our QB is, we have serious trench problems. Juan strikes again. Ravens fans are smiling from cheek to cheek about our OL because they got their answer as to whether Castillo was their problem the last few years.
  18. This team definitely needs a QB. The issue is we are NOT 1 player away. The Eagles were close to that. They did need secondary help but other than that, they really only needed a QB. We need way too much to move too many picks for 1 guy. We are not going to be IN it for a while I'm afraid because no matter what we do there are just going to be way too many holes. Defensively we are going to need two DT's another back up DE; another starting CB; almost an entire new LB unit. Offensively, we need almost an entire line; backup HB; TE; QB and another WR. It's insane how much this team needs.
  19. Glenn, see ya - not available. Wood - See ya - no really that good. Taylor - they are not going to design an offense to take advantage of your strengths so best of luck elsewhere Shady - They ran the damn treads off of you
