  1. and by the way.. just to give an example, Tre White was never able to do the things Von did with the same time line. This is why I expect 4 months of good strong rehab to be more than enough to be ready by week 1-3 instead of week 4-6
  2. you know, I have to come back to your reply of being serious now on the conversation of the bolded. You talk about Modern stats need to be taken with a grain of salt and to an extent. If you want to bring one specific player back.. you need to bring back the same team back as well. So lets bring as I gave an example of Montana right? You are bringing back that same line, same WR's and same RB. I would argue that, THAT 49 team would not have a chance in hell against a team of today. Excuse the expression but they "Build" them bigger, faster, more agile and way stronger than they did in that era. Please do not single out specific players as an example of this but as a whole. Defenses are way faster as a whole then they were back then. Defensive Schemes are more technical then most back then. Bring a Montana team against a Current Buffalo Team or a Current Eagles, Cinci or KC team And I am here to say they would not have a chance in heck against them. IF it takes THIS long to break some of these records, then it took this long for good reason. In short, In general I agree with your point... but bring back the team that stood with those QB's you named and how you think they do against a good team of today? I stand by it saying they would not have a chance in heck.
  3. not sure how this has any bearing on what I said but yea I get it. sometimes surgery is not the right decision in one's life
  4. I think the whole point of this "Who does Pegula turn to?" conversation is not wondering questions about record. I think we know with this HC, we should be in the playoffs about every year. We come to expect it now.. I think the question is. Does this head coach and this GM good enough to get us over the hump to make it to a SB game or 2 or 3 in the next 7 years? I think that is the point of conversation is how is our Staff doing against the best teams in the NFL? When it counts?
  5. OH i agree. I never said he should be ready this week. but if he is up and able to do things like this now? 4 months from now I would think the dude should be good to go. IF he is 100% yes. and do I think he should be 100% by week 1 based on his progression thus far? yes!
  6. Imagine Joe Montana in this era? wow...
  7. IF Von can play golf NOW? HE should be good to go with his knee week 1. Seriously. 5/17/23 you are cleared for golf. week one is 9/11/23 That is 4 months from now. about. He did not have as severe of an injury Tre had.
  8. some are in the land of delusional if they thought for longer than 30 seconds, that he would be coming back..
  9. the normal employees there will get first crack but most of management will be set in place.
  10. that is what happened twice last year. Why do i have to over explain my personal opinion to you as to why i feel the season will go this way huh? give it a rest bud
  11. To the Bolded
  12. Who ever buys that tua puzzle is going to bummed 6 months from now
  13. opinions vary man. I just think this year we win the big one's and lose the ones we should not have. Don't underestimate the jets late season. Jax got much better, and Dallas runs hot and cold.
  14. Stop it. I know people there that are in high management that has been working there well over 10 years. You think that is a job you can just replace so easy? You have 0 heart for someone that is going to be forced to move on and have to find a new job? that pays what they are making in that unique situation. Grow a heart and soul man.
  15. I know a few people that work the stadium, they are really going to get screwed on this one..
  16. So be a Big guy and drop the puke off what is a very good thread.
  17. I think it is the opposite. Peacock covers ABC and Paramount covers CBS, I subscribe to both and do not sub to normal cable services. When I need to hit up ESPN or NFL Network days I time it and just do one month subscribe on sling and enjoy sling that month. Amazon has lots of free trial opportunities. So Peacock 9.99 or the month. (something like that) maybe 3 times a year. I do Paramount to get my cbs news and shows I watch every other day 9.99 a month. Amazon free trial ESPN I look for Cover 1 podcast on that game, lots of fun interacting with people instead of watching. or i will just head to a bar. NFL network 35$ one month. Cut the cord. Save hundreds a year. At home I filter between air channels, Roku and I also do Netflix sub. So much cheaper and much more fun content outside cable tv. So I disagree with you.. Until cable prices drop. more and more are taking to streaming on phone/tv/laptop and so on. Streaming is just starting. Oh and I pay for an internet service to do all this... one I am going to pay for anyways
  18. that is just stupid..
  19. He uses those arms in interesting way. HE grabs a body part to do a tackle, and he whips his whole body around while still holding on. With those long arms, it is kind of a sling shot effect. We have not had that guy that knocks down passes a ton on this defense in a long time... he will do well for that.
  20. They still need more "American football" programs for it to become a real thing.
  21. @Airseven why the eyeroll bro? Nice combination of record/stats their Chandler
