I have a Question.. From a Business Standpoint.. you think his Agent brought up the fact that he wants to be used more on third downs? There is always more than just money in these agreements. Especially with players as talented as cook. looking forward to reading thoughts on this. If i was cook.. I would want a larger snap count to prove im the same person with 50 or so more snaps a year. you are correct. The rule states "In the NFL, a player cannot be placed on the PUP list if they have already practiced or played in a preseason game." Another words.. he would of had to go on pup in training camp. Cant put him in this far in. ****Edited I believe Aug. 1 was deadline for pup lists

he threw from the line.. there was no one in front of him.... stop.... im thinking you either did not watch or forgot the play but when you start to run forward and reach to the line of scrimmage.... Then you stop and lateral the ball right before the line.. when NO ONE was in front of him for several yards... he could of walked and slid to get first down and still never got touched.. it was a horrible throw decision.

3rd and 3.. Trubisky could of run it up the middle.. instead he stops in the middle of the line, throws a lateral into double covered half back... they have about the same stats but one is a quarters worth of work and another is a half. Both had a couple silly throws.. i want to see him play with our #1's next week.

Interesting you don't add Mike White to the conversation for good day. Played around half the time with just about the same stats... 1 more TD with a few less yards. I would like to see White with #1's next preseason game for first half to see what he brings to the table. I disagree with Dane Jackson.. He had some darn near perfect balls thrown his way... not much you can do about that. He tacked well and kept players in front of him other than 1 long play where the SS was in no mans land doing god only know what.... I do like Strong. Great write up cheers!
