  1. Agree 100%. We need to get our receivers in space.
  2. I didn’t want to quote all since it was long but … a lot of what confused me was how oddly Diggs was used. He was RARELY over the middle, no drags, dig routes, posts, mesh, cross, slants, etc. we didnt give him the opportunity at YAC. Felt like all of his catches were hitches.
  3. I hope NYG doesn’t lure him away with an insanely high contract.
  4. With word Daboll is gone, I want to reflect on what I think we can improve on schematically in our next offense. For me: 1) Utilization of Diggs: We rarely saw Diggs motion in to the slot, we RARELY saw crossing routes(which blows my mind), and most of his routes seemed to be outs and hitches. 2) Less predictability in the run game: it seemed at though every time we were under center, it was a dive or we knew it was a run. I’d like to see more zones, motions(from FB/ TE), and plays that confuse using WR motions, misdirection. Etc 3) Pushing the ball downfield, attack the 10-15 yard area: With the emergence of Knox, I’d like to see us use him more and him get more targets in the middle of the field. It also seemed as though that we didn’t throw the ball down field as much this year, in my opinion. 4) Gabe Davis.
  5. Chad Hall would be interesting and I’d bet he gets a look. This is basically McDermott and Beans first chance at showing how they hire/ fire coordinators. Will they promote from within? Or do they go get talent.
  6. Ridley and Davis wouldn't play the same position. With Beasley walking and other contracts running out coupled with the increase in cap. We should be fine. To be honest, our OL was VERY improved without Mango and/or Ford in there. Bates proved himself worthy of a shot as did Boettger. I would venture to bet the Bills FO thinks were in a better situation on the OL than most fans do.
  7. I'd be very ok with this. Our offensive line got better when we sat Mango and gave up on Ford and plugged in Boettger/ Bates. I don't think we're drafting OL high. I think we bring in a veteran CB from FA and don't draft one. I would bet on WR or DB. I could see IOL but it would have to be someone that fell.
  8. Ryan Bates has been our best guard the last 2 games. He has been quite the surprise and is playing verrrry well.
  9. He and Zimmer have similar defenses and philosophies. If he does get a job, I'd like to take a long look at Zimmer.
  10. Ahh straight to insults. No you said- he spoke the truth- "that he is an ignorant and selfish jerk" and calling someone a "selfish jerk" is very subjective with little truth. So perhaps if your literary skills were better you'd understand my point I refuted your point about him being selfish in that... He NEVER missed a game, he does what all player do, exercise their rights as players. He felt he wanted more power, so he held out (as many players do). He hasn't been selfish in any way shape or form to the organization. If you believe so, explain what he's done that's out of the ordinary and "selfish." All he's done is win the MVP 2 years in a row.
  11. That's the most hindsight comment I've ever seen. Yes, but we all know that the draft is a literal crapshoot. JJ could have came here and been average then you'd be pounding the table for Diggs. WR are missed SO much in the draft, look at Denver, Raiders, Philly, etc the last few years.
  12. Beasely and Sanders free up cap space next year, we would be fine. He is literally the exact opposite of a head case? He wanted to work on his mental health, so he stepped away instead of doing the Antonio Brown, etc etc. I actually think that shows maturity more than anything or am I missing something?
  13. He did not speak the truth, he mentioned he put his organization, fans, etc in a bad spot. He didn't miss a single game (outside of COVID but so did MANY other players), they are the 1 seed, he's done a LOT for the community, and his teammates love him. Not the mention, MANY players hold out. He is the best player in the league, has done a lot of winner over there and he wants a say in what happens for certain things and wants to feel wanted for by his organization. If Josh did this same thing in 10 years, none of us would be mad (if he had a similar career to Rodgers). So what's your point? This guy made comments over the summer as well. Now what?
  14. The Knox drop early was atrocious though, when he would have gotten a first.
  15. I feel very certain that the Diggs catch was incredibly easy, the Knox pass had no defenders making a great play, the refs called the delay of game early. Daboll called a great game.... wonderful. Our run plays were very well designed.
  16. Both. Our running plays are sooo vanilla and everyone watching the game knows when we are running the ball. I formation? run. Josh under center? 80% chance we're running it. There's no creativity to our run game. Patriots create space with their run game. They had a game plan. They put 6 offensive linemen on the field for a TON of snaps and dared the Bills to stop them.. they didn't... so yeah McDaniels called a better game than Daboll. If you don't think so, I think you're incredibly football illiterate.
  17. Does this mean Daboll can do more lining up in I formation and run the best play from 1986? Just two backs through the hole and "tougher man wins"
  18. Levi has been more than fine for a long time. I don't get the hate. Does he give up more catches? Well, yeah because more balls are thrown his way since no one throws at Tre..... it's going to happen.
  19. Difference between Sanders and Brown: Sanders can get off the LOS against physical CBs. We saw it time and time again last year where Brown was abused at the line, ESPECIALLY in the AFCCG. Sanders can stretch the field and also beat zone with his savvy. One of the most underrated things that I've seen from Sanders: his blocking has been RIDICULOUS.
  20. Yeah I watched him throw it to RB's out of the backfield for 20 years (excluding the years he had Moss)
  21. I think that stuff is coming. Teams are also playing a lot more Man2. It'll open up game by game... you may see a ton of it this week and then not again for another 3. That's the one way I admire Daboll. His game plans vary drastically from week to week. What he did last week with Moss was masterful.
  22. You must be really fun to around at parties. Does putting your shoes on make you upset? Let's try and help you out: You probably won't see the numbers of 2020 Diggs ever again, even though he's a better player. What you will see if the emergence of Dawson Knox and Emmanuel Sanders BECAUSE of him. Emmanuel Sanders has been so good for us.... why? Not only is he a pro bowl player but Diggs causes the other team to shade a safety to his side. It's this weird thing called being good and having options. He's averaging 75 yards a game down from 95 which is 1 catch a game, essentially. Diggs is fine, our offense is number 1 in the league and we are tracking towards a historic season.... how the hell did some of you make it through the drought?
  23. Going to have to be Poyer/ Taron Johnson. Tackling in the secondary and coming up and filling willl be the difference maker. I think Groot is going to abuse their OL
  24. Packers, KC, or it may be a good time to use Miami?
