  1. Or one of our 5ths....both are higher than Baltimore's. I'm assuming Beane inquired about it, maybe didn't want to give an extension to a 33 year old, idk
  2. I definitely understand what you are saying. This signing isn't exciting by any means, I just don't think it's horrible either. He will compete for the #2 spot and if he's not good enough, he will be depth. Im really interested in the full details of the contract. Haven't seen the guarantees yet, so if those are low, he can still get cut. Beane has been smart structuring some of these contracts, hopefully it's the case here.
  3. Only a one year deal, McDermott knows him well, he fits the scheme here better than in D.C. and at the very least he's CB depth - which we need.....stop complaining!
  4. This, I'm starting to think a trade back might be a good idea. There will be multiple receivers available in the "same tier" at pick 22 and should be able to still get one in the late first. Getting an extra 2nd or 3rd would be sweet
  5. Don't break the bank on anyone. Maybe improve our depth WR's with free agents, but use the draft for starters.
  6. Trading our 1st, 2nd and next year's 1st for a WR in a WR heavy draft is a very bad idea
  7. I've seen a lot of people down on Higgins in multiple different threads here. What are people's issues with him? (Idk enough about him, just wondering)
  8. I agree, I don't think a 2nd would get it done. Especially since there are 21 teams who have better 2nd round picks than us. Use our 1st on him and can still take a young receiver in the 3rd or 4th
  9. I was against Olsen at first as well. I now think it all depends on how much they think he has left in the tank. If he's 75% of his old self on a medium to lower end contract, I would be for it. He could still be a decent contributor and be a mentor to the young guys as well. However, I understand people being hesitant with him given his age and injury history lately - his contract would have to be right
  10. OJ Howard or even Cameron Brate being available from the Bucs makes sense. They both had a lot of upside, but Arians doesn't target his TE's much. He doesn't have a huge need to keep both of them. Howard has a year left on his rookie deal with the 5th year option. And Brate has 4 years left at around 6.5 Million per year (But no dead $ left at all on any remaing years). Both contracts are very manageable and might be worth taking a shot with for a mid-round pick or so.
  11. Seriously, unless there's a legit rumor someone is trade bait or a possible cut, it's just pointless.
  12. The Bills are near the bottom with stadium revenues? How is that happening if they are selling out more than other teams? And I'm not doubting you, just wondering.
  13. Seriously, the combine is worse than watching paint dry. It will probably do worse on primetime with other sports' games going on
  14. Every year there are teams that you expect to be good, that have down years. And they are an ascending team that aren't the Bills of the past. We should expect them to win some of these games now
  15. I guarantee Brady isn't going anywhere. This is just a bunch of media nonsense
  16. This....pay tackles big $, not guards
  17. I understand what you are saying, however I would extend him this year for a couple reasons. - One is that the market rate for CB's (or any position for that matter) will go up every year. If you extend him soon compared to in a few years, it will save $ per year and on the total amount of the deal - Another is they can front load some of it this year while they have a ton of cap space. Then his deal won't eat up so much cap space for future years -And I agree with you on Milano. I have a feeling he will out price us and will be drafting his replacement. Which I am cool with. With Edmunds a couple years after him, I don't see 2 big deals into LB's
  18. I've seen him as a 2nd rounder in several different rankings so far. Not that ranking really mean anything this early
  19. Definitely don't trade up in the first round. It's too expensive to do so in a deep WR class. If they don't go WR in the 1st, I would think about trading up in the 2nd though.
  20. What yard line would we have been at if the penalty wasn't called? I was so mad at the call I don't even remember what happened on that play. And haven't let myself watch any highlights of the game - will just put me in a very pissy mood, lol
  21. This is the first time I've re-watched this video and it just brought me right back to full pissed off mode. Rule or not - at the end of a game that is an absolute NO CALL. I couldn't bring myself to watch any games last Sunday and now I definitely can't this weekend either.
  22. It simply comes down to risk vs. reward. The risk of an injury far outweighs any argument to play the starters. Playoffs are the very next week - even a minor injury keeping a player out a few weeks can hurt us bad.
  23. Well said! I've been waiting soooo damn long for them to be a legitimate good/competitive team. The wait has been miserable, but feels so awesome it's finally here
  24. Give Knox time to develop. He has super potential, time will tell if he reaches it. Kroft is definitely out of here next year. Hooper or Hunter Henry would be great additions to add with Knox. I would spend the $ on them, then get a WR high in the draft.
