  1. Will I say I'm certain Daboll is an amazing coordinator? no. However, Josh Allen is progressing, and that's enough for me to say let the show go on.
  2. The trouble with that is then the line gets foggy. All of a sudden offseason work with the coaches is "not required but highly recommended" In any case, although it seems silly on some level, if it's equal for all teams then it's fine. I imagine the coaching staffs also have good recommendations for the players as to where they should go and train and whom they should train with.
  3. The internet, social media, and smartphones have created a societal crisis. A crisis in which we are losing connection to one another as we communicate from behind screens. It allows for people to avoid real confrontation and uncomfortable emotions because through a screen you can say anything you want and not see the reaction of the other person in front of you. This is why we have no problem fighting to the death on the internet, but greet those same people on the street with a smile. Honestly, I have no idea who this Coleman guy is, I didn’t see or hear what he said, and I don’t care. My opinion is that real inner strength is when some idiot can say something stupid and you can laugh it off because you know it’s bull####. But, I would also say if you want to confront someone, then the way you did it is the only way, and I admire your courage! The moment you lost was when you played his twitter game as opposed to just blindsiding him. Nonetheless I think you got your message across. Love, An old millennial/young Gen X
  4. Is it ever a good look for a multi-millionaire to whine about money on social media?
  5. 2nd round or later power back, I’m all for it!
  6. I’d be shocked if anyone gives him that much, but FA is crazy as we all know.
  7. the 5th year option was reasonably high, something like 8 or 9 million, no?
  8. Journalists want people to talk. Based on this thread, mission accomplished!
  9. one play in isolation proves nothing. No player, no human being executes anything 100%, it’s all about the overall Also, Game is over, let it go....
  10. At first I accepted the overturning myself, but having watched a discussion on a sports show from former players, they all agreed that the rules should be followed strictly and gave some good examples - such as, what about victory formation? Is it ok if the QB doesn’t take a knee? What about the fake spike play for example? What if the Texans player was faking giving himself up in the end zone and then runs it back for a touchdown? He has to put his knee down, period. Any person has the power to make an impact when they believe in something. The question is how much do you care about this to invest yourself in it? Is it worth spending countless hours and days fighting this? For most people, I would say the answer would be no, there are things more important for them to fight for. Therefore it would be difficult to get a mass crowd to follow you in protest. But hey, you should go with your own feeling!!!
  11. I can imagine....sorry LOL
  12. Not having any idea who this woman was, I just did a quick google. “Instagram Model.” LOL!!!!!! And then I found this garbage: https://www.totalprosports.com/2018/07/29/rachel-bush-decided-to-blast-jordan-poyers-side-piece-fellow-ig-model-he-cheated-with-pics/
  13. You’re absolutely right. Most fans seem to view players like robots rather than human beings who need to learn their skills and abilities over time. Not only is the team young and with a 2nd year quarterback, the head coach is also just a 3rd year head coach and the GM is a 3rd year GM. Given the youth all-around, this team is ROCKING. In order to grow, they actually NEED failures like last night. When things are easy, you don’t get better. From that perspective, I’m totally content with last night’s loss, knowing this team will spring back next year and continue to work hard. I’m thinking more about a future DYNASTY.
  14. No one seems to be mentioning the big defensive adjustment from Houston in the second half. They spread the d-line out to attack wide and brought 5 and 6 man rushes. Allen wanted to run outside the pocket, but couldn't, and our o-line was getting owned by this technique. This adjustment totally took out our offense. For sure, it's something they weren't prepared for.
  15. There’s no perfect game! Awesome start, have we had any starts as good as this all season???
  16. This is exactly what I would say. League becomes a passing league? Ok well then teams are going to focus on building good pass defenses....so then you have to run the ball to have success again.
  17. Definitely. And to agree with you, I'm sure the team would also gladly add another talented QB if they found one (whether he was labeled #2 or #3). I think another reason why there aren't very many great backups around the league is just the simple fact that it's probably really hard to stay sharp in that position when you never play. I suppose that's also why the vet is valued, since even if his physical skills and reaction time deteriorate, at least he has the mental capacity to line guys up.
  18. From what I can tell, the backup QB is quite involved on the sideline in assisting the starter. Also from what I understand, Barkley has been very helpful to Allen’s development. So I would say these factors are actually more important than how the backup plays himself. A young QB probably needs a vet, and an experienced QB probably doesn’t as much.
  19. He has absolutely improved drastically. Look at the touchdown to interception ratio as an example. Sure he still makes some of the same mistakes, is he supposed to fix literally EVERYTHING in one season? Baby steps, one thing at a time.
  20. I’m honestly shocked at all the complaining here. This young Bills managed the Patriots quite well yesterday, and Tom Brady is still the best game manager in the NFL. Look, basically no one beats the Pats year in and year out, it just sucks more if you play in the AFC east and have to play them twice every year. This Bills team has exceeded expectations for this season by a long shot, and in the last four games came up with two big wins and two very close losses against the Ravens and Pats. I think next year this team bumps it up agains the Pats.
  21. thanks guys, and as I understand in '20 they basically made all the players much lower than the past, right? just highlighting a few superstars and then everyone else sucks? So is this team decent in comparison to other teams?
  22. For all the Madden people - Do they continue to update the rosters in Madden 20? Are the Bills good in the game now?
  23. Marcel Dareus had tons of issues from the day he arrived....tons of family issues, losing loved one to shootings, and from what it seemed he was always battling depression. Given his talent level and the fact that he was a good guy at heart with a lot of troubles, it seemed like the team stuck by him hoping to get him through his problems and reach his potential. I even remember some sideline videos of vets telling him that he could be truly great if he committed himself. Personally I’m not sure that his decline had anything to do with money, as I would guess that with all the depression he didn’t even care what was in his bank account. What a sad story really, as he was an UNBELIEVABLE talent. If his head was on straight he would probably be headed to the HOF.
  24. Shaq had serious injury problems when he first arrived, lost his first season completely and then i would guess still wasn’t football ready for year 2. That’s not an easy way to start your career. Given that he has seemed to make strides last year and this year, I would say he may just be a late bloomer and on a great track now. McD knows better than any of us what his value is going forward. Whether or not to resign him is going to depend on the value....and the value might be very good because of his bad start. D-line always needs rotation, so resigning him doesn’t declare him a full time every down starter, and it seems like we could do a lot worse.
