Who has the best stadium in the NFL?
Stank_Nasty replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
absolutely no desire for a climate controlled stadium of any sort. personally, I thought lucas oil sucked the gameday experience right out of gameday. it just didn't feel right at all. I'll stay outside. -
THE ROCKPILE REVIEW - Just Plain Bad

I begrudgingly agree... I think I heard somewhere yesterday that even if darnold hadn't gotten hurt, the jets were thinking of giving him a break. his season was starting to snowball. I don't know one way or the other if that would have happened to allen(i'd like to think not). but i'm thankful we didn't have to find out, he got to get some experience and reflect, and now come back with an even better head on his shoulders(hypothetically). as you have said, its all on him. he really is on an island at this point with what he's got around him and who's on the sideline. i'm glad to see a late rounder like teller flashed on sunday. i'd like to think that's a hole filled going into the offseason. i'm grasping at any slight glimmer of hope I can find at this point. -
[Name Only Title] Wyatt Teller?

G has been a huge weakness. it looks like they potentially filled half that need with a draft pick. its a positive thing. i'll always be excited if a hole on the team can be filled admirably by a later round pick. I don't get the need to p**s in everyones cheerios. -
Friend wants to go to a home game..... I ask why?

if it was that long of a drive i'd have a hard time taking the trip to a game unless I got a hotel. that being said its only 90 min for me and I enjoy all the festivities so i'll still be making a trip or 2 to finish out the season. attending the actual game will really just be a formality -

bolded is huge for me..... yes, he's missing opportunities. but he hasn't hasn't made very many back breaking plays that take the air out of the whole team the way the other 2 have. the crap situations that the current qb's repeatedly leave the defense in is just so disheartening.... i'm confident he'll start seeing those small windows of opportunity soon enough. and when he finally does? LOOK OUT...…. reps reps reps. -

right off the top of my head.... the play that got called back in Houston. rolling to his left and heading out of bounds, he absolutely uncorks a laser 40 yds downfield into kb's hands. there havnt been a lot but they are there. -

Peterman actually played quite well!

I mean..... EJ actually had a nice start to his career in general. but that sad thing is over the last month present day ej would be a better option. "first month of his career" EJ in a heartbeat. lol. -

if i'm not mistaken jones was running completely wide open in the slot on the same side of the field as the attempted throw. it wasnt a great read. and even if it was he's shown time and time again he doesn't have the arm for those throws. I feel bad for the guy. i'm not mad a him. i'm mad at the people making the decisions. its inexcusable that after the ravens game he's been in position, twice now, to enter games. -

absolutely atrocious..... but at least he'll make the throws into tight windows others wont ? I guess if you're super sensitive.... when you respond to something I write with a trolling comment how exactly would you like me to interpret it?..... sorry for the poor assumption. lol. -

I wasn't trolling in the least. did I say anything incendiary or offensive? your standards and defense of Peterman is odd to me. its fairly routine and it makes slim to no sense at all IMO. -

Your standards fluctuate quite a bit depending on who’s behind center I guess. -

you've seen him inserted over the last 2 seasons and throw away multiple games and this is what you've concluded..... WOW. just wow. this is literally one of the dumbest things I've read on here since I joined almost 2 years ago. the bills went about replacing him with a washed up qb off the street and somehow you've come to the conclusion he's adequate. -

My mind is blown how people justify how bad this offense is. “Well it’s a rebuild. Didn’t you know that in a rebuild you are supposed to have a historically bad offense?.... DUH!” -
Raiders release Bruce Irvin

Gone in 2nd month of year 3. So I’m gonna go with the under. -
I would say it’s more impatience with daboll and McDermott’s ability, or lack thereof, to evaluate his OC and offensive talent. Im fine with him as a head coach. I’m not fine with daboll. Watching a play caller scheme an undrafted rookie into 260yds and 3td was disheartening as a Bills fan knowing what we’ve been forced to watch on offense. Shanahan making beathard look competent over the year and then what he did last night should put to bed this whole deal about being patient with daboll and his lack of a qb. There are brilliant offensive minds out there. The bills should not settle or rest until they find one to compliment MCD and his head coaching.
-
Peterman has no business being on the field. i want him as far away from the bills as possible. the fact that he has been in position twice now to come in, in relief, due to injuries is inexcusable. with all that being said i always root for any bill to do well..... but i'm torn here because the staff has already shown some sort of inexplicable loyalty to this awful qb. I'm extremely worried that if he somehow pulls a four leaf clover out of his *** and has a solid showing they will feel justified in keeping him and keep rolling him out there. that's TERRIFYING.
-
Don’t paint such a dramatic picture. Chill. Pointing out obvious coaching discrepancies doesn’t seem like wallowing to me.
-
Right. That cancels out the fact that he’s fielded some very good offenses.... my bad.
-
Shanahan has schemed up 3 td passes in 3 quarters for an undrafted rookie. As many as we’ve had all year... not to mention Making beathard look competent before this week. but lets just be patient with daboll.

I have absolutely no clue what you have seen to come to that sort of expectation. "disappoint" isn't the word for me "surprise" would be a good one though. its inexcusable that after last year and week 1 of this year that he was ever in a position to see another snap. i'm not mad at peterman for that though. that starts way above him.
