I'm not holding my breath on allen being able to go so i'm pretty worried for this week. winnable, but worried.

right? whats the dudes deal? the bills drove down to a first and 10 on the pats 39 with 1:30 left.... what a dumb statement.

Another big challenge for either offense.... bills rank 2nd in total yds allowed. titans are 14th bills are 5th in points allowed. titans are 4th bills are 7th in 3rd down %. titans 6th. gonna be a tough one.

So we realize the Pats secondary is elite and got the best of Allen. Here's a big question for me...… there were a handful(not many, but a couple) of plays where he had a TON of time in the pocket and didn't pull the trigger. I have to wonder if everyone was blanketed or if he just didn't see what he needed to see. I really wanna see him nail some chunk throws in that those situations going forward against lessor secondary's.... the fan in me is hoping it was just the pats defense covering THAT good.

the pats are very good squad... i'm more dissing the media and there love affair..... this game did exactly what I thought it would. showed how absolutely awful the first 3 pats opponents were. they literally had to have this one handed to them. 375 yds to 225. 23 first downs to 11. bills had 5 more minutes of possession..... it was the first solid team they've played all year and they basically needed it gift wrapped to get the W.... is it even debatable? point being. real contenders aren't quaking in their boots like the national media told them they should be doing the first 3 weeks against the easiest schedule in the NFL.

I think the fact that we basically gifted them the game with a bow tied on top of it and they still barely came out with the win is a testament to how absolutely awful their schedule was up to that point. that's not a team that's striking a ton of fear into any of the "real" contenders. they are extremely beatable and I find the media talking about them being the best team since their 07 squad laughable.

its a fair point but it applies to both qb's. ej's 2nd season, in which he got benched, was the last season we had a very good defense. that was easily a top 3-5 unit...I would argue elite.

Well I don’t agree about the stress. I was fried quite early in that game. but I do agree about the confidence in making it a game. Which is definitely a new feeling this year.

The pats d gave up more points to a much worse offense than the bills d gave up to Tom Brady yesterday. We had the better unit. I think he’s claiming the bills were the better d. Which is true.

Right. I would think this too if I decided to explain his whole season of work with one game. You’ve been busy today....

All week in the media we’ll have to hear about the 2nd best defensive unit(Pats) on the field for this game.... so frustrating

Wow talk about being a prisoner of the moment. The offense came in ranked 8th in total yds and Allen had shown plenty of progression before today. There are myriad of other numbers that had shown the improvement of the offense as well. Your statement is a bit excessive. Come on man.

Dallas and NE for sure. Going to Cleveland will be very tough. Especially if they start meshing. Baltimore at home will probably have wildcard implications. And I’m not convinced Pittsburgh will be some sort of cupcake at home. Its not an impossible schedule but it’s looking like it’s more difficult than the first 8 for sure.

Tennessee. Just beat the breaks of the falcons in ATL. That game isn’t even close to a shoe-in for us. In fact if we go in with Barkley we’ll be 5-6 point dogs I bet. I think 5-3 is reasonable at the mid-way mark but that’s worrisome considering the 2nd half is much tougher.

Josh Allen was unforgivably bad today. He’s also been a huge reason they are 3-0 with mostly efficient play and timely big throws and runs. Benching him this early or finding a quick fix at qb after one awful game would be incredibly stupid for the short term and more importantly the long term and anyone suggesting he be benched also looks fairly stupid.

Funny how certain people all of a sudden are much more active on the board today. Havnt seen some of you for a few weeks..... hmmmm, strange.

I know one thing... The best defensive unit on the field today wasn’t the patriots.

So Kay is hosting pregame stuff at the stadium this morning.... I knew I would regret not going!!!!

Take a poop, draw the curtains, shut the phone off, get the Brady voodoo doll out of the lockbox, turn tribal music on low, tell kids to “either shut the hell up or go outside!”, and sit in darkness and silence until kickoff.... Friggin pats week.... (sigh)
