  1. ya. its up for debate at least. and I said in my initial post I think we have 2 corners playing at a top ten level this year for sure.
  2. he sorta clears that up in the beginning saying he just hasn't played enough.
  3. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001063730/article/patriots-stephon-gilmore-heads-list-of-top-five-nfl-cornerbacks Good stuff coming from a high level CB in his day. I would argue we have 2 corners that could be considered top 10 this year as Wallace has been playing awesome as well! Exciting times! 3 Tre'Davious White CB Bills There has been a youth movement at the cornerback position, and White has been at the center of it since coming into the league in 2017. He is thriving under Sean McDermott in Buffalo as a more athletic version of Josh Norman, who had his best seasons with McDermott in Carolina. The Bills don't play a ton of man-to-man; rather, the defense works collectively to succeed in zone coverages. A form of zone McDermott uses is quarters/palms, which is a form of trap coverage. In simple terms, the cornerback reads the route of WR2 while keeping WR1 in his vision. If WR2 breaks out, the cornerback defends him and the safety takes WR1. Defenders must have a high football IQ to succeed in this defense, and White has all the necessary tools and then some, having forced three turnovers so far this season, including a game-sealing interception in Week 3
  4. I think as of last week Hyde was PFF’s highest rated safety on the season. The way these guys play team defense I don’t know if anyone is gonna garner a bunch of individual attention.
  5. Just watched herds hierarchy. As a general rule I’m not a huge fan but I like him today. ?? anyhow we came in has his #9 team and he goes on to say the bills have the best defense in football and his foundation was everything they’ve done to this point and the fact they shut down the 3rd scoring team in the NFL lead by Brady. IMO, when the bills and pats played, I thought we had the better unit that day given their circumstances. Nice to hear it from a known media member.... even if happen to me a moron. HAHA!
  6. I agree 100% with all of this. I’m sure they’ll move it into town at some point and that will be a sad day for me and the large amount of people I consider my gameday crew. It’ll make our gameday experience the like just another downtown stadium.... BLAH.
  7. I don’t get why you aren’t separating a regular well planned tailgate from the craziness. Not everyone that loves to tailgate is getting blacked out and jumping through tables. In fact I would say the majority don’t. I personally love getting a well planned out tailgate gathering. I love taking a loaded truck full of food and wood up for a fire. The ones cooking usually love cooking. People do that stuff because they enjoy it. It’s not some huge burden. IMO Bar hopping isn’t a unique gameday experience in the least. They can keep that down in Nashville. Also I have no clue how you only spent $50 in bars all weekend. My wife and I drop that in 15 minutes at any cheap rural bar with a couple of drinks and food. It’s 100% cheaper for a group of us to get together and tailgate. Im with @Gugny . Let me grab my weapon of choice from my own cooler instead of waiting on a bartender and paying $3-6 a drink, and eat some well prepared game day recipes.
  8. weather wont be a factor in whatever team wins the south, assuming its IND or HOU, so we need to hope we get paired with the north champ if we have to settle for the wildcard.... although I think the bills are capable of beating anyone in the AFC at this point. but if its gotta be the wildcard i'd much rather have to travel to see afc north team outdoors.
  9. no. it had to do with you saying we may not be able to bring phillips back.... you are just going off the freaking deep end about a player that's totally not worth being this dramatic over. geez man. really over the top here.
  10. if teams aren't running on buffalo he's not sucking. this is silly. we have 90 mil. good lord dude.
  11. right. rarely any big holes to run through and our heat seekers at LB are running free.... next time lets just find that a bit cheaper. its very weird to me that somebody could be that upset with him.
  12. you gotta really be looking for crap to be ticked about if you are this displeased with a starting DT that's part of a top ten rush d and top 2 overall yardage d. while he may not be earning the full paycheck he's most definitely not making mistakes. he just an overpayed tackle that's at least not screwing up. its really not that big of a deal.
  13. marlon mack isn't an average running back and i'd take their TE duo in a heart beat. you don't win more than you lose with brissett at qb unless you have nice complete team around him. and how is "playing great team football" not similar to being a complete team? they are sort of synonymous.... but I honestly don't care enough to keep arguing about it. so whatever. you win I guess.
  14. well I totally disagree. before Luck retired the whole offseason narrative was that it was arguably the best supporting cast he had ever had... they are 3-2 with jacoby brissett at qb. which very easily could have been 4-1. they are young and talented as evidenced by winning games with back up qb.
  15. I think the colts might be arguably the most complete team in the AFC when healthy. They are 2 missed overtime vinatieri kicks in week one from being a strong 4-1.... imagine that team with Luck this year. geez.
  16. ok so there were 2 more int's in that game... I actually think dak is a solid qb. he's just not nearly as good as the first 3 weeks hinted towards. isn't that pretty obvious now? the last 2 weeks against better defenses he goes for 2 td and 4int. btw, neither one of those defenses are nearly as good as buffalo. i'll expect us to go into that game as underdogs but it wont be because of how awesome Prescott had been all year. he's gonna even out reallll quick.... already has.
  17. dak has looked pretty awful the last 2 weeks. also happen to be the only weeks they finally played solid defenses.
  18. As a small market team, coverage means they are winning. Hands down. I’m fine with earned coverage. You can keep the lovable underdog crap
  19. Well he seems to enjoy the lack of attention.... I personally couldn’t disagree more. Give me the hype. With a unpopular team like buffalo that can only mean one thing.... WINNING
  20. There was so much wrong in this thread. I think I entered at one point when a handful were saying brown and Beasley weren’t locks to start. Yikes. good lord, people.
  21. This dude feels like a Yoda for our young Skywalkers.
  22. Prior hot starts over the last ten years that have completely imploded don’t help either. As fans we can feel like this year’s different(it is), but no media is gonna bite until they carry it into the 2nd half of the season. That’s fine. Keep winning. It will come.
