Bills 2024 Training Camp! (related content only please)
SCBills replied to Donuts and Doritos's topic in The Stadium Wall
If those two are even 70-80% of what they've been to start the year, this Front 7 could be something serious. The DL/LB depth already look like it has much more potential in guys like Smoot, Solomon, Carter, Johnson, Williams, Morrow etc.., we just need our featured guys to be healthy and effective. -

Keon has some things he needs to work on, and we'll see if he can get that done ... but outside the Big 3 in this Draft, he IS the potential superstar of the bunch. Already looks like a red zone monster. -
2024 Elections - House - Senate - States
SCBills replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I very much think this will be a competitive election now.. but this is an outlier poll of all the post-Biden polls and it heavily oversampled Dems. -

Who’s the arbiter of the first two points? Seems wildly subjective as we throw away norms (again) in the name “protecting democracy”. And no, it’s not.. and that has zero bearing on the point I’m making. A point I wouldn’t expect democracy protectors to argue with, but hey.. yall believe in dismantling the Supreme Court, prosecuting political opps and swapping out an incumbent presumptive nominee now - so, I suppose, nothing should surprise me.

Im so sick of weak people like this. Your “love, peace and compassion” has resulted in so many parents losing their children to fentanyl. Women being raped and murdered by illegal migrants. Children making life altering decisions about their body that adults SHOULD HAVE protected them from. Ukrainians and Russians being fed to the slaughter. Children set back entire grades because of blue state covid policy. Record inflation and crime that set has back entire generations in Millennials and now Gen Z. You’re not compassionate. Youre weak. You simply cloak it in glowing terms.

Most Republicans wanted another nominee but have rallied around Trump. Democrats, in large part, vote for the system. You believe whatever your media tells you and take your cues from unelected beaurocrats that orchestrate the inner workings of the Democrat Party. Your party fought off the insurgency from Bernie Sanders due to this. Republicans are not the same, which allowed Trump’s rise.

It’s honestly wild how much they’ve thrown at Trump to try to make sure he’s not in power. You don’t have to be his biggest fan to acknowledge this. A week after an assassination attempt meant to take him out, they force out their nominee, chosen by the people, because he can’t beat Trump. Never seen anything like this. Even old school GOP have done everything in their power, including become Democrats, due to Trump’s rise to power and attempts to regain power.

Will also be interesting to look back in retrospect, if somehow Trump loses this election (and to be clear, he still has to lose it - none of these potential Dems can win it) and if it’s decided by PA/Shapiro… He picked Vance out of a position of strength. He had to know this was coming. Can Vance help deliver in the Rust Belt.. perhaps he will, but Youngkin does in VA what a potential Shapiro VP does in PA. I said above VP picks are typically inconsequential, but … and I don’t really care how this comes off … nobody is voting for Kamala aside from the fact she’s a woman of color. She’s entirely unfit and literally too incompetent to be President. Black. Woman. Abortion. That’s all she has. She is a joke. So, VP may actually be of note for her candidacy.

Trump is not Herschel Walker. And Trump can gfh for meddling in that Senate race, again, and losing the seat, again, to an unpopular Warnock by pushing for the most ridiculous Senate candidate on the planet. This is more like Kemp vs Abrams than it is Walker/Warnock. And Georgia is currently an R+3 or so generic state. Trump would have to lose Georgia. Which he’s certainly capable of doing. But Kamala won’t win it.
