The DNCCP put out their new talking points over the weekend
SCBills replied to Wacka's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
This is honestly a great point and hits on a serious vulnerability the Trump campaign has… They seem unsure of how to attack a completely propagandized run for President. Shes not running on any policy positions outside abortion, and has a horrible record / people genuinely have never liked her … but the media/certain tech and celebrities are creating a movement at warp speed out of thin air. -
Megan and Kamala are getting DRAGGED online for tonight. Megan twerking at a political event .. People leaving a few minutes into Kamala’s speech. Even black Twitter is trashing it on The Shade Room.

The DNCCP put out their new talking points over the weekend

Hes voting for men in women’s spaces, men taking women’s spots on sports teams, increased crime and an untenable border situation that will already cause ramifications in those his daughters age lives. Settle down, white knight. You simp for the right that someone’s daughter can have an abortion at any time, for any reason and pretend you’re saving them. Weak men create hard times and some day your daughters will unfortunately deal with the consequences of your cowardice. But hey! You can feel real good about yourself right now 😊 🌈 -

Mark Hamill is one of the more cringe people on the planet at this point. Go ahead and have fun with self loathing white men that literally cry over politics, I guess. -

2024 Election Polls - President - Senate - House
SCBills replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Harris polling in PA has improved, but she’s still relying on outlier polls to make it look anything but a Trump +2 state currently. -

Interesting. He’s kind of akin to the Dem version of Youngkin. Popular Governor of a state typically opposed to his party. Kentucky is firmly not in play. No AZ/PA VP help … I have heard from more than one place that Kamala may actually be targeting GA/NC in anticipation of losing AZ, NV, PA. -

He couldn’t do that.. which effectively neutered him, given his two strengths are governing and fighting back. He needs MAGA if he wants any type of post-Gov political future. He can’t make mortal enemies with that clownshow movement. -
I want to see Keon in structure between the 20's. I think in the Red Zone and on scramble drills, he's an obvious playmaker already. What will decide his effectiveness as a rookie this year will be how he can be/is utilized driving the field.

Good breakdown of PA polls, as the election could legitimately come down to that state if Trump holds the Sun Belt and Harris holds MI/WI. -

Post-Sugar High polls starting to roll in. Still have to see more battleground polls to see if a poll like this is a blip or if Harris is losing her initial momentum. Trump over 50% with leans is notable. -
Would love to see us have a true slot backup for Johnson. Hardy has good tape, albeit undersized. Not sure he's who I'd want to see if he can handle the rigors of an entire NFL season as starting slot, but as backup slot/returner... I think that's best case scenario if he shows enough to warrant this.

Impact of Dobbs and Abortion Laws
SCBills replied to ChiGoose's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
A different POV on the Kate Cox story. I’ll admit.. I don’t know what the right answer is. I’m pro-life personally, but not a single issue voter, nor am I militantly political on bans.. but there’s two sides to every story. 🧵 -
I'll say this... Wouldn't want to be running a crossing route against the Bills if our Safety tandem at any point is Rapp & Jackson.

If Von is getting close to the Von we had prior to the injury.. Game. Changer. Really glad to see MVS making plays today. I'm all for the feel good stories, but I'd feel much more comfortable with this WR group 1-5, where Shakir, Coleman, Samuel and Hollins have a proven vet WR in MVS along with them. I really like the size and speed of that group.

Impact of Dobbs and Abortion Laws
SCBills replied to ChiGoose's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Most Americans believe abortion should only be legal, somewhere between 12-20 weeks, with rare exceptions after. However, and R’s can’t seem to grasp this, politically… when given the option between strict bans and no limits at all … people are going to choose no limits at all. Its sad. Nobody has to like that. But it’s the post-Dobbs reality. It can be overcome, but R’s need better candidates and a better ground game. Florida and Georgia have strong Governors with huge approval ratings and massive voter registration/ground game infrastructure. The result: Heartbeat bans and electoral landslides for DeSantis and Kemp. Unfortunately for R’s, MAGA runs the GOP and the candidate issue is not in their favor right now. Trump is the notable divisive figure, but down ballot they are throwing away winnable races to appease him… Lake over Lamb in AZ for instance. Rogers over Amash in MI. Nevermind the Arizona GOP machine has been utterly destroyed under Trump. -

Republicans are so bad at messaging that they allowed a political party that believes men can get pregnant and children should have access to sexually explicit material to label them as “weird”. -

Omg… Im sorry, yall can vote against Trump, and I get it … but to pretend to be excited for this moron, stop it. -
Makes all the sense in the world for Ray Davis to be RB1 and Cook playing more of an RB2/Slot role... but then I keep remembering that Cook is actually very good at running between the tackles. Going to be interesting to see how those two are used, because Ray Davis is a powerful runner with some juice that is elite at catching out of the backfield. Cook's running style and ability to run WR routes rotating in would be a real tough stressor on the Defense after having to deal with Davis' skillset.

Based on Camp reports, seems we should be feeling pretty comfortable with Douglas, Benford, Elam & Ingram as our outside CB group on the 53? Elam sounds like he's legitimately pushing to start if the two guys ahead of him weren't both very good and Ingram just stays being solid, building on prior camps when given opportunity.

Best part of that Steelers first half was that Gabe Davis fantasy owners finally gave up on him before that game... then he goes bezerk in one half... they all start him again the following week.. he proceeds to do nothing again.

But you don’t just do that. Plenty of Trump VP nominees knew they weren’t really in the running .. they didn’t just drop out to save face. You just let yourself not get picked, because to do what Cooper did is a signal. And no matter how loud or soft that signal is, you don’t put that stuff out there unless there’s political motivation to do so.
